A year of the Ukraine-Russia war, as it happened

2023 ж. 22 Ақп.
1 007 263 Рет қаралды

When Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24 2022, the world we lived in changed. Vladimir Putin's 'special military operation' was met with fierce opposition from the Ukrainian people - many of whom resent Russia for their earlier annexation of Crimea in 2014.
Led by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who stayed in the bombarded capital Kyiv to defend his nation, Ukraine has retaken cities seized by Russia in recent months as they look to end the war. This is the story, month by month, of a past year of war in Ukraine.

Vladimir “Poop Stain”aka” Putin’ out and ready to pout” Putin could have mobilized his propaganda’d out robots to fix the interior of Russia but he continues to turn whatever he touches to rubble while he hides in his Kremlin castle bubble. volodymir Zelenekski is nothing but an inspiration and he commands respect. I know it's the truth but with how much tragedy this poor lady has probably went through he shouldn't have brought that up because he knew it would make her cry...

  • I don't know why they make such a big deal that someone in Ukraine speaks or writes in Russian or that a city is Russian speaking. That is the language of many in that part of the world. An Irishman writes in English. IRA in Ireland has meetings in English. So? Are they now a bunch of Englishmen? A huge %% of Ukrainians speak Russian as a native language because their own language had been forbidden for centuries. It does not make them Russian anymore than it makes, say, a Filipino an Englishman. Russian is a colonial language similar to English and Spanish. Some 80-100 million speak Russian outside of Russia and many of those people are Central Asian. They just speak it with local accents. Russian does not belong to Russia anymore. And Russia is shelling Russian and Ukrainian speaking cities equally. Similar to how England shelled the English-speaking US in 1812. After all, the "Oh say can you see?" was written in English.

    • @@igor_pavlovich Jewish people don't have to forgive anyone, especially if they survived the Holocaust. You are defending genocide, trying to deflect to another topic is not going to change that fact. If that is the side of history you want to be on then gross and I am done conversing with a Russian troll.

    • Because they Don't tie them to the legs because that takes too long. They run circles around the back legs with the tape, then feed it around the outside of the human and chair legs. This binds the person to the chair without making it taking a long time to tape them up. As you see there's multiple chairs, and they'd take people in and out of them multiple times.

  • CH4 coverage of the Ukraine war has had several reporters in various parts of Ukraine. They are doing their job which places them in great danger. So proud of them. CH4 continues to this day providing footage of Ukraine's war against Russian army and highlighting the Ukranian's determination to fight back and retain its country, no matter what the Russian government and its soldiers throw at it. The spirit, resilience, heroism and organisation of Ukranian people is truly amazing. President Zelenski is a very aspiring individual who working collabortively with his fellow men has brought his people together to fight to protect their land, its culture and people. War is truly frightening and has far reaching consequences present and in the future. Thank you CH4 team for keeping the world informed and educated. I hope that one day the Ukranian people will be free from the Russian tyrant Vladimir Putin, and return and start to rebuild their home. Slava Ukraine!
