    • @@ryanbrink2755 yeah that lisence isn't going to help because your toy was at 20' looking in a window or door. Yeah it'll get your lisenced toy back to you in pieces so you get to sit at your bench rebuilding it. And yes there are a ,"few" cameras around the house for my protection when I shoot some moron that thinks he can enter that front door or in case of a drone flying below 100' and hovering with the camera focused where it shouldn't be. And in this video that drone was at about 30' so fair game!

      @rolloverriderpgr@rolloverriderpgr3 жыл бұрын
    • @@rolloverriderpgr I said 300ft. Plus if I'm even 50ft above your property without stopping I'm still protected by the faa, and if I show proof which my drone saves all flight paths and how long it sits in one spot and saves all videos when flying I would still win that battle. Trust me there are drone laws out there that you morons saying that you would shoot a drone down dont even bother reading.

I put a 3/4 hp 1750 RPM Wagner 1 phase motor on it - It would be cool to see an Extreme Shop Fan build!! Even one with a swamp cooler / evaporator cooler on it! It would have to be a wall of cardboard and a waterfall going down it for a super shop fan to make it EXTREME! That'd be the PERFECT video episode for August heat!

    • Jason Keller Not completely correct. In my county the sherif in-forces reasonable right to privacy. The drone has to be in the operators line of sight. That is not possible where I live since our driveway alone is over a mile long. Meaning you would have to physically be trespassing to keep a drone in line of sight. Needless to say. I have shot down a perverts drone and he was arrested while I reloaded.

In fact the thing I can build will blow computers right out if I wanted too, or any chips in one of these things. It would be the last trip for that drone. The Japanese I hear already build a drone Catcher. It is a drone that carries a net behind and flys over them and the net gets into the blades, and they can retrieve them.

  • A bunch of people are saying "I already have one of these, it's called a shotgun," but I disagree. This device can not only take down drones, it takes them down in-tact. That means, if you really wanted to, you could hold the still-functioning drone for ransom, if it's one of the nicer ones that's worth a few thousand dollars. Or, you could just sell it online to some guy who knows how to link it to his own controller.

If someone comes to your house and tells you to give back their drone, just say "so you're the owner of that drone that was video taping my house??!!" Either they will run or stand their ground. Just give them back their drone without the camera and motors.

      @evandrofteixeira@evandrofteixeira6 жыл бұрын
    • Evandro Ferreira Teixeira The only indispensable professional equipment from the whole setup is the lathe (the die for cutting the threads on the pipes is not too expensive, especially the manually operated ones), nothing else. The rest can either be found even in the smallest shop or can be substituted for something else (also found in the shop). But yeah, it goes without saying that one shouldn't even attempt to build anything without having a shop. That's be like trying to play the piano without a piano.

      @CoolKoon@CoolKoon6 жыл бұрын

If you decide to copy what he does, you do it on your own risk and assume full responsibility for your actions. You could use a CNC machine for drilling too. Either way, the milling part is one of the MANY steps necessary.
