    • @@misterrr7 If you look at when the Oilers had The Great One, they had Grant Fuhr and for a time even Andy Moog backing them up, 2 of the best goalies of the 80s and 90s. When they moved Moog, they replaced him with Bill Ranford, who Goalied them into one last hurrah in 1990. Then they had CuJo, and a strong of other great goalies, but now they've got Conner Mac and co, they've got Skinner who's a solid goalie, but unless you give him an Elite defense, solid isn't gonna cut it in the playoffs when a team can learn a all a solid goalie's flaws and exploit them.

    • Goaltending and making the most of your chances was the difference here. The Canucks have nearly anyone who's not named Makayev can snipe one past any goalie at any time, and a blueline that's helping out on offense while still keeping their own zone responsibilities. Silovs made several great saves that took sure goals away from the Oilers, while Skinner only stopped the ones he should stop, nothing more, nothing less. The Oilers need McDavid, Draisaitl and Hyman to be on their game and not getting snake bit or their sunk, while the Canucks can get their scoring from nearly anyone (except Makayev, he's just not allowed to score even if he is still playing good hockey).

    • Total, because Edmonton only lost because the things in front didn't want to get in. but of course they are the better team ^^

    • they are still hitching home, meanwhile, those of us that actually understand hockey know that vancouver is getting bounced by whoever they play next. weakest canucks playoff squad in 20+ years bar none and shows how brutally bad the oilers are.

    • Canucks AND oilers fans both too cocky, at one hand anyone who said edmonton in 5 is just stupid, but then at the other hand lots canucks fans say they are winning the cup
