That's an A major in the home key of A minor. That whole progression is alternating between major and minor, making those 3rds stick out and giving it the energy

It is stuff like this that made me finally realize that i simply sucked at playing bass. I could get away with being crappy because it was the punk era. Loud and fast covered a LOT of mistakes.

I'm caught between wanting to see Charles play and wanting to close my eyes and live in the wave of nostalgia that hit me with the opening chords. My brother used to practice this song over and over again way back in the 90s when we were teens.
Hey Charles! love the vids. I wanted to get into tapping but have no idea where to begin. I'd love for the tap god himself to maybe do a video with some basic exercises to get started, maybe with a quick song to show how they can be used. (potentially a video idea for each level of tap bass, beginner, intermediate, expert ... and so on). BASS!!!
