My son was playing in the park and someone came with a car and dumped cat with her carrier in front of him and run away! So , he brought home the cat not wanting leave to night in the park. She has a big tummy and I don’t know if she’s pregnant or something else going on . But she seems healthy , active , very friendly and looks exactly same as the cat in the video. I am allergic for cat but my kids want to keep her , I don’t have money to go veterinarian to check if she’s healthy ,or pregnant ! At the same I don’t want to dump her like the previous owner did. Got stuck !!
Thank you! I’ve been searching everywhere to get an idea of how far along momma kitty is. She was abandoned and is now pregnant. She bonded with me immediately. I’ve kept her outside until this weekend and have her inside ready for babies to come. But I have no idea how far along she is. She’s so big and so miserable, but loves me so much! I needed to see all 9 weeks so I’d know roughly where she is. She should start labor any time. I’ve had her for about 2 months. We didn’t know she was preggers until she started getting bigger. Babies have been so active the past two weeks! But yesterday and today, they’ve slowed way down. She started heavily nesting this weekend which is what prompted me to bring her inside. That, and she’d sit and look in my window and would cry when I’d leave her side. She definitely tugged on the heart strings and will remain indoors after babies. She’s been sleeping A LOT! But never lets me get out of sight. Anyway, thank you!!

I too took in a cat a month ago who is a feral cat in my neighborhood. There's some history on the mountain I live on but to keep it simple, this feline came up to me on the porch and just started loving on me! Well so now I'm attached at the hip and named it but haven't taken it to the vet to get it spayed yet. I believe it is approximately 4 months old however that is subjective on my part. There has been a black male roaming around lately and I may be too late getting it spayed (vets are so expensive where I live!) No excuses, I'm going to the SPAC Monday I'm trying to keep an eye on her in the meantime. She's definitely an outside cat but has been warming up to me inside as well. I've never seen such an affectionate feral cat!? I guess I just have fool written on my forehead. And she does take advantage of my foolishness.
HI. I have two outdoor cats, brother & sister. I have had them for 10 years. I was able to catch the female, so she is spayed. The male is not. Both these cats are pretty much ferrel. They don't come in and don't like to be touched. I basically just feed them and they rarely come inside. I recently got another cat from a friend when she was 5 months. She got out and now she is pregnant at 10 months. I am pretty sure it's my other male cat that got to her? I want to keep as indoor/outdoor cat. I am not sure how long along she is? She is really big and about to burst! I wasn't too sure if she was pregnant? However her nipples have gotten really big and very pink. She is also constantly licking herself. Before this happened she would be screaming and crying to go outside. I have seen none of this for the past two months or so? I watched some videos on the gestation period of cats and how they behave. Her behavior has not really changed except she is sleeping much and is not interested in going outside. If she does she comes right back inside. I am getting concerned because I don't see or feel the kittens moving inside of her? Her appetite has increased and she is still very playful. My biggest worry is, she is too young to survive the birthing? Anyway, I guess I will wait and see. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you! @@brownyandblondie4672 I’m so sorry to have taken so long to reply. She had 5 babies! First 3 came out breech, with an emergency vet visit as the first got stuck in the birth canal for over 20mns. The runt didn’t make it past 5 days, but she was given lots of love up until her last moment with me. I held her until she passed. The other 4 are fat and sassy! All just turning 5 months old. Homes found for all of them. Beautiful babies!! 🤍

Thank you for this❤ An abandoned young cat has adopted me and my sons. We fed her and built an outside shelter, so she could get use to us. She follows my younger son everywhere, now lives inside. I’ve created a bed in a box in my son’s wardrobe as I believe they like darkness & quiet to give birth. She literally appeared pregnant overnight! I think she’s about 6-7 weeks if your video is anything to go by😊 When I told a nurse at the Vets, she said that they would neuter her, unless she was too far gone. I’ve never been a cat person, I love dogs, but I’m in Love❤ She so precious and affectionate, but still nervous around my naughty little dogs, she’s a little Tiger protecting her cubs. I will get her neutered, but I couldn’t do that to her and live with myself.

The international community in general vilifies fur parents who do not neuter or spay their pets, when in this side of the world most of us do not have the means to afford those procedures as they are expensive, especially now with the current pandemic. Thank you for this video! There is a pregnant cat in my neighborhood. As she has a pretty round belly, but no kittens moving yet, I believe she is at week 5.
Time of first heat in cats depends also on the month of birth of the female kitten , as cats are seasonal breeders , they go on heat , usually , when the day light start increase , so females that were born in April , for example would typically have their first heat at about 9 months of age , while female born in august may go on heat even at 6 months
That is also an important fact , light can make your cat go into heat , also smell and other factors .

My outside cat named Callie has been pregnant for a while. Her stomach has dropped and is huge! Her nipples get bigger by day, but she keeps eating and is super affectionate towards me. She lives outside and has had 3 litters that I know of so far. On our porch, we have some old towels in a secluded area guarded by two chairs and she loves laying there. I also see her excessively grooming her stomach and genitalia. What week do you think she’s on?

"She will meow more than usual" she doesnt meow at all. Unless she's stuck in a room or if we pick her up. She only shows affection when she's tired. Other than that- no one is ever allowed to touch her without permission 😂❤

there is a sweet stray cat who loves my house. we call her Turtle. He stomach is large and it moves but she is very long haired so i can’t tell if her nipples are swollen…but, she also rubs against everything and is very affectionate so i’m very confused whether she is in heat or actually pregnant 😅

Hi, our cat is pregnant, the kittens have been moving around for a good week and a half, close to 2 weeks. So according to your video (and others) the labour should be following soon. I’m just a little worried because she’s not nesting at all (we have multiple boxes ready but she’s not interested) + her nippels are a little bigger, but they’re not as big as other pregnant cats i’ve seen and they also have more of a pinkish color (not a reddish one). Is this normal? Thankyou!
Hi , well don’t worry about the Nippels , I’ve heard some cats cat also get red ones . Sometimes the cat may nest ours before going into labor . Our cats are practically the “typical behavior “ but there are always some cats that may do other things . And yes , if you see the kittens moving a lot , that means they are going to come soon . Browny and Blondie hii! Thankyou. You were right about them coming soon because there are 6 kittens already! Born a day after me asking those questions :) She started having contractions on the kitchen floor and i took her to one of the boxes we had set up for her and she gave birth in that one. Thankyou again! :)

Browny and Blondie we adopted her from the shelter, they told us she was sterilized haha, guess not. She was found on the streets so chances are this is not her first litter. We’re keeping a close eye on them! Thanks again ☺️

So you dont have any cats then. If they are almost always outside that is not your cat. I dont understand people who "have" outdoor cats
@@robertritter8444 Yea I know right?! Lol. The Cat is feral and won't go into their home but they think it's their cat? 😂 a feral cat doesn't have an owner. And they can't be domesticated. The longer a cat has been feral the more aggressive they will be too. Kittens up to a certain age can come out of it and be domesticated but once they're like 1-2 years it's a done deal.

The kittens movement is now very visible and I can feel their heads..her belly is also big...how many weeks do you think my cat is pregnant? And how many weeks are left until birth? Well your cat sounds like in a late state of pregnancy . We would calculate between her 7-8 week . Is she nesting ? Kittens should be coming out any day on . :)

Oh, some cats will become aggressiv because of their maternal instincts. I am sure that if you are able to see already a big belly , you will be able to have little kittens shortly. Did she hide the kittens ?

So gestation begins immediately after insemination? I have read that it might take 2 weeks before gestation begins.
My cat gave birth exactly 62 days after insemination. so maybe the gestation process is shorter if your statement ist correct.

Normally after a cat is on heat , she will be sleeping and eating more , since they need to recover the 5-8 heat period . Not even a vet can confirm if a cat is pregnant after at least 3 weeks .

In Theorie you let your Queen 2-3 days by the Male cat . Depending of course of the personality of your car . Snowy is really docile and after some hours she is already mating with the male cat . Some other females need 3 days to get comfortable enough .

WARNING! Mating literally lasts 3/4 seconds. So, if you have a fertile female, expect kittens! Get your cats neutered asap! My, Queen did eat extra, but, zero nesting or extra affection. My daughter came in from Uni, lap cuddled her 15 mins. Not a sign of a mucus plug or contractions. She was 20 mins into cooking dinner, then, heard a 'meeew!' 1st kitten, cleaned & placenta eaten, birthed on a hard floor under coffee table. Refused our 4 prepared nesting sites. Put her in a cage with pre- prepared birthing box.

Yeah , our cat is always some days in heat after the mating . It’s a process that takes 5 days to 2 weeks , regardless if the mating took place . That’s the reason female cats can have a kittens bell belonging to different male cats . FYI , by humans it can also happen!
