Paul Atreides (Suite) | Dune (Soundtrack) by Hans Zimmer

2024 ж. 22 Мам.
3 326 537 Рет қаралды

Blessed by a majestic performance, Timothée Chalamet portrayal of Paul Atreides in "Dune" was intense, convincing and magnetic. Burdened by a deadly path designed for him, Paul is gradually shaped and reinforced by the numerous life-threatening tests posted to him. His musical theme, defined by a climax of electric guitars and female chanting, reflects his ability to overcome and the awakening of his superior powers.

And take the most special care that you locate Muad’Dib in his place: the planet Arrakis. Do not be deceived by the fact that he was born on Caladan and lived his first fifteen years there. Arrakis, the planet known as Dune, is forever his place."

    • absolutely.. not just because of music, but because if you watch it on a small screen, you don't get that immersive feeling.. ESPECIALLY during the dimly lit scene in the desert, which is dark but not too dark, it's just dim enough that you can see something, but your eyes are really trying hard to focus. You need a really high dynamic range TV or projector to be able to appreciate that scene.

More so (and more effectively) than even the book. His youth and humanity really shine through. There are so many scenes in part 1 that will rhyme with counterpart scenes in part 2 (which I know from the book) which will show the gargantuan journey Paul takes between those two points. Scenes with his father, his mother, the reverend mother, the Fremen, Shai-Halud and more will make for stunning comparisons.

  • The way you organized these specific soundtracks in this order to make it seem like one continous piece that just gives you chill after chill is amazing, fantastic work. I litteraly cant listen to dune soundtracks randomly niw because of how well you put this together, just makes me feel like im missing the best parts.

    • The story of Dune is not a happy one. It's protagonists are often those who is rather morally grey in the long run. I suppose it's only fitting for the music to reflect that. What do you think?

I genuinely thank you all for making these movies and I truly hope you are not just being paid well but get more opportunities going forward. It is a pleasure to watch you all act. Fantastic work guys and girls.

Later i realised ohh it's the music that's giving me chills and not Scenes or story.... I gave more thought and later found out that Legend Hans Zimmer and his team created this... Masterpiece...

I´ve never read the books nor have I watched the movies, but I can just imagine it all from the soundtrack. Zimmer is a magician of sound
