    • It was a trap, to get the attention of Gus. WW instructed hector to do it. It was a deal so he can take revenge for his family. After all hector in that condition wants to die already. Remember what Gus told him last time they met. This is his legacy before leaving earth to kill Gus. Really amazed by the writer of this show, what a really intelligent twist.

    • @Joe T . when you have been beat down most of your life,. and then you see someone similar to you suddenly start fighting back (kicking adversaries in the teeth). it's inspiring. ( Honestly sometimes I think he made up his mind to do all this, during his birthday hand-job, just watching it, made wanna break something). I was hoping they would stuff all that money into their luggage, and head to the Bahamas. Spoiler warning extreme caution beyond no this . I was dissipointed, how quickly some of his friends and family turned on him so completely. At least Skylar, was on his side for a few days. Mike made a great quote on BCS, that does a decent job of explaining us "Walt addicts" the one about , good criminals and bad criminals. I hate this phone I'm using. It makes typing more of a negotiation. I'll have to get back to you, if you have the time and/or interest to continue debating this. I'm not trying to offend or irritate you. Just trying to add some perspective. Have a great weekend.✌️☺️ I had to retype almost every sentence in this comment, I forget what you call this word program, but my smart phone is retarded.

    • Coolbreeze Productions Awesome comment and you’re completely correct, Walt took back his power (or gained some balls) from being the meek, mild mannered, pushover Science teacher to being a boss (in his eyes.) Sadly, as in every case, hubris (pride) comes before the fall and Walt never saw his destruction creeping up on him until it was too late. Btw, trying changing your keyboard settings on your phone and disabling your auto correct, that should clear up your typing issues 👍🏽

The Walt/Gus chess match provided outstanding writing in this season, a narrative that at times resembled a psychological thriller rather than a crime drama. Walt also realizes that he is going to need to have 2 faces if he is going to reach his goals in dealing with the underworld, and the pink teddy bear signifies that to him, while also serving as a reminder to us that's what he had to do with Jane: the family man and teacher part of him would never harm anyone and wants the best for people, but then there's him, a man coping with the underworld has to be ruthless. And the bear represents Jane since it was on the mural on her wall above her bed, at least imo, lol.

    • Maybe, but not so sure bc think read somewhere that Lily of Valley is not lethal but just gets people sick, in which case Walt was just acting a little bit, although still think he was relieved that Brock was recovering because he wants Jesse focused and feeling better and also because he does want the kid to be well asap. He didn't really want to do it, but he saw he had no choice in order to get Jesse to start working with him to take down Gus...Someone discussed Lily of Valley before and said it isn't lethal, but could be wrong.

  • That moment with Gus... Man, what a fucking way to go. I say this too often, but yeah, this was again one of the best episodes of the best show ever on TV.

  • I’m not usually into reaction videos but when it comes to breaking bad, I just can’t help myself. Season 4 is incredible. Some of my favorite episodes of television ever, but season 5 somehow still manages to up the intensity of the show. It never settles down until it’s over and it’s beautiful. Can’t wait to watch season 5 with you, even more of some of the greatest television you will ever see awaits. I hope you both enjoy it.

  • *Fun Fact:* The woman who plays Walt's next door neighbor is Vince Gilligan's mother, Gail Gilligan. *Fun Fact from SE2 in the same vein:* The young blonde girl in the school auditorium after the plane crash in the Season 2 finale, who asks "why would god allow all those innocent people to die" was Bryan Cranston's daughter.

  • Ding! Ding! Ding! And the realization at the very end... 🛎💣💮🤯 I saw this whole season as a parallel of Goethe's "Faust" - but instead of God and Satan competing for the soul of Doctor Faust, in Breaking Bad it was a fight between two devils.

  • The moment Gus is walking to kill salamanca, the music is the main theme soundtrack of Dark, is a hell of a show, you should watch too

  • Vince Gilligan himself used the analogy of a virtual game of chess between Walt and Gus during the entire season 4. 🛎️💣🌼🤯

  • I think the reason for Gus's "spidey sense" in Ep 12 is that he might have guessed that Walt poisoned Brock to lure Jesse out and therefore to lure Gus out to a vulnerable place. I'm sure he found the timing of the sick child odd. But he could never have guessed that not only did Walt poison Brock, but Walt managed to convince Jesse that Gus was the one who poisoned him.

  • I've seen this whole series on an anniversary marathon on amc. Just before it premiered, I saw the show listed in a magazine featuring top 100 best shows. I finally decided to give the show a shot after seeing amc show a promo for the upcoming marathon and hearing in the past about how great it was. One of the clips they showed was of Gus jumping up yelling, and I was able to figure it was his death. I know I risked spoiling myself watching the promo but I wasn't worried about it as I really didn't believe I'd get into this kind of show. But I became a fan after episode one and besides seeing that clip spoiled, there were still plenty of surprises in store for me :) And oh man. at first I was confused at how Gus just walked out of there, then I freaked out at seeing what happened to his face! In that moment I felt like it surpassed Walking Dead's kind of gore. 🔔 💣 💮 🤯

  • Couldn't comment this last episode cause it would have been a spoiler. The reason Gus could sense the car bomb was because he knew he hadn't poisoned any kid but Jesse's angry tone implied he thought he had. A sudden poisoning is also very strange at a time like this. All this made him think Walt was manipulating things behind the scenes.
