Honestly, I’ve been watching y’all since 2012 and Brittney you have inspired me the entire time! You’re beautiful, hard working, loyal, a great mother, and have amazing discipline in the gym! Roman you got me through an opiate addiction, that i never thought I’d come out of. The both of y’all have showed me that love, honesty and family can and will get me through anything and not just survive but THRIVE! My husband is 58 I’m 40 and we have a 2 year old. We struggled with infertility for 8 years. Through the miracle of IVF we got our baby girl! AND her name is Cora 🥰
Roman I think what you said about being a good example for your kids really hit me. It made me realize how much of an affect you have had on my life. I literally grew up watching you. I'm 21 now and I've never wanted to drink, never had the urge to try substances, never got addicted to social media. I realized after listening to this podcast that you are the biggest motivation for all of it.

You got me through dark days home with a toddler. I truly missed you the year you were gone. I’d go to KZhead hoping you’d upload… when y’all did! Made my month!!

Love your podcasts. So glad you’re back and so proud of Roman for giving up caffeine and alcohol. I miss them too, but my life is so much more rich and full without them I also gave up sugar 12 years ago and have never felt better. The addiction to all of these is real. Stay strong brother. And your desire to be an example for your children is a gift from God. And Brittney is spot on….don’t put out into the universe that you want a drink, or caffeine, or cussing - unless you acknowledge in the same breath that that’s not who you are any longer. You two are so refreshing. Love your parenting style. I can’t believe you have an 18 year old. Keep up the great work. ❤

We jumped on the journey with you in 2014 and our kids have grown up knowing you guys. I gave my life to Christ in 2015 and am 7 years completely sober. Welcome back, Roman and Brit. Couple of things. I am 52. My oldest will be 30 in August, and my youngest is 9 and a half. Talk about an age gap! The energy level is definitely different. Getting off the floor does take a little more effort. I have been sober for 23 years. It takes a long time for the cravings to cease. I really only miss alcohol around the Christmas holiday season. I believe cussing is fairly innocent and not overly harmful as long as it isn't being directed at the kids. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to future episodes.

I quit caffeine in the new year and I too am struggling but the biggest change for me is truly the lifting feeling of not HAVING to have it anymore. Big energy for sure !
Brit is pure emotional support and encouragement. Flip phones are the way to go lol! I KNOOW people don’t favor these kinds of conversations and content, but i LIVE for the “boring” just talking about daily struggles and working through them

Man, you hit me so hard on the quitting a substance, I've been addicted to chewing tobacco for over 10 years, but I am almost 2 months without it now!! It feels wonderful but when I'm working on a car, I want some chewing tobacco so bad, but I push through, the major thing I'm so proud of myself!!! Thank you Roman and Brittany Atwood!!!!

I have a new puppy, so I’ve been “watching” more podcasts lately so I can WATCH HIM more, and I heard this and had to come leave a comment for Brittany. She’s says, “But what if they don’t like what I say?” And it shot me straight back to 1988, talking to my best friend/granny and saying the exact same words. And she shared something that CHANGED my life: “If anybody EVER asks you, “You know what ______ said about you?” Your response should ALWAYS be “IT’S NONE OF MY BUSINESS.” People can think or say whatever they want, but the amount of power you give them in that opinion is all on YOU.”

I know I’m late to this upload but I think you guys brought up something really interesting. How do you guys deal with keeping your kids safe on the internet especially now that Kane has a phone? I feel like balancing the many sides of the internet is something everyone has to battle with everyday. I think it would be really interesting to hear how you guys as a family deal with these battles especially since you guys have such a large platform and your careers depended on sharing so much of your lives with us online. Without Brittany on the podcast, it wouldn't be the same! Yea It's probably very scary with the big guests, but it gets easier and easier. It's like exercising. The more you do it, the better you get. And dont worry what people think everyone is offended by something, even me, and it's not up to you to worry about our insecurities. Brittney is 100% right it is more sugar than caffeine. I was a heavy mt. dew drinker growing up talking about 24 pack in 2 or 3 days. at age 40. I woke up hated the way I felt and just said I am not drinking soda anymore and haven't since and feel great. now.. I still drink my 2 cups of coffee black in the morning but that is it. so if I can kick soda you can kick energy drinks. your health will thank you.
to me i feel like its the caffeine. I'll drink the no sugar pop or energy drink over ones with sugar. I still try to quit but its an up and down hill battle. I do choose water at restaurants over a sugary drink, just need to at home more often as well.
