Or do you think she just popped his fantasy bubble and he got pissed? Drunk texting is when you get drunk and emotional and text an ex, not having a full blown description of every messed up thing you want to do to another woman that isn't your wife and then show her how you're playing with yourself. It's cheating, without question. And after all this time he's still blaming the alcohol and crying to the world about how hard his life is. Nah, he wanted something new and exciting because he got too rich and too bored, just like he said. Seeing how he's never going to take responsibility isn't a judgement call, it's stating the sickeningly obvious. And Roman just kissed his butt the entire time. Nasty asses.

  • I actually felt quite sorry for Colette when Roman and Britt said they felt like Shay’s mistakes were totally blown out of proportion. It’s kind of insensitive towards Colette because at that time, her world came crumbling down around her. It was such a serious thing for them to go through as a family, so to say it blew up out of proportion is a little insensitive I feel. • What i see with men in america especially areas like texas and idaho is that the men always have to be front and center and they chat to each other like the women don't exist there. I can say for certain i've now experienced this while i was part of a type of clan in an online game and then i started getting stalked and the males all made fun of me, called me drama, shut me down and dismissed me when i tried to speak out about it. The leader was totally helping telling the guy the location i was at in the game and while they did interact before i joined so they know each other online, it's just insane he was helping him. He kept turning it on me like it was things i was doing that was the problem, like he said because i had a pic of my main character on the discord that it was somehow my fault for being stalked. The rest just stayed quiet but never stepped in and acted like i'm the female in the group so i should just stay quiet and not exist, you guessed it the leader lives in tennessee. I can now say i understand what they mean by not joking about things too because the way they "joke" is very demeaning and passive aggressive, and different from the way americans may usually joke where you might not be able to tell if they're really joking or not. I once wanted to visit america but i think i'd rather not now when this is still their culture, and quiet recently sent themselves back several decades.

We all struggle to find our identity when a phase of our life ends. high school, college, and family and friendships change all impact our identity, and we struggle to figure out our next steps. We turn to negative behaviors to cope with our changing identity. We are BRUTAL with critique and refuse to understand one another and just place judgment. We make mistakes, we grow, we change, we learn, and we keep going.

  • A single man, an uncommitted man may reduce it “to just a few late-night texts”. But when you are in a committed relationship, when you are married, it's called Adultery! Also, I will never forget when Shay made a comment about Obama’s character (which was a lie and a clear talking point) and how McRomney was an upright man during their presidential elections. He was so arrogant and he used his platform to promote lies…. Years later when people called out Shay, he said everyone was being jundgemental, but when he pointed out other people's faults for years on his channel it was ok because sat on his LDS throne and judged others! I respect his wife because she took a lot of hits and scrutiny over Shay's behaviors. She was often overlooked but she was the constant rock of the family!

I quote Shay all the time, lol. My family was always fighting and bickering and tuning it out and watching Shaytards every day was such a safe haven for me. He is the reason I started running. He is the reason I started eating healthier. He is the reason I always tried to choose happiness. He is the reason I can switch my mindset in a bad situation. He is the reason I can be goofy in public. Him and his family have taught me so much and I will always be grateful for that.

When everything went down, I was absolutely heartbroken. I looked up to your marriage so much and had a "if they can't do it, how can I do it?" mentality. I'm SO grateful for your story.
