    • NARCISSIST NEVER CHANGE THEY ARE ALWAYS THE VICTIM. My comment about Yousef being a Narcissist didn't go over well a year ago. But now on 8/26/23 this has proven true. Yousef is a narcissist and uses his Ethnicity, Religion, and Mental Health as an excuse for not being accountable for his actions.

  • Fousey, if you're reading this I want to sincerely thank you so much brother from my heart for having the courage and strength to show that it's possible to change your life around despite the hardships and tribulations that have ensued with the chaos that isn't sobriety. I too have Bipolar and over the past few years I've gone down the road of abusing weed, alcohol, and pills. I've OD'd a few times and could have not been here to right this but amidst the moments of awakening I've seen that we really have to be kind to ourselves and our souls. We need to do this because we have gone through more than the average person and can share our stories like you're doing. This is our purpose and I can't wait to go to your motivational speeches and give you a hug and a big smile, might even cry a bit. I'm sorry you have to start over and I know it's hard and daunting but you have what it takes. We all do. Keep your head up champ and I know you can achieve this next milestone. I hope you read this.

I’m just glad that this podcast is a thing cause no, we’re not the kids who watched you before, a lot of us have jobs now and things goin on as we grow into our life. A lot of the problems Yousef mentioned are a lot of the things I’m personally going through as well as many others. The issue with addiction and everything seeming to conspire against you. I’m really glad to hear Yousef’s perspective cause it enlightened a lot of the mental drought that unmotivated me from actually realizing what’s been taken away from me.

  • I was 13 years into a 15 year opiate addiction when I ended up living in a tent in Jacksonville Florida. It all started when I broke my ankle and had surgery in 2000. I spent 2 years in that tent, I was still working a crap job just to supply my addiction. Everyone tried to get me to stop. It wasn’t until one morning I woke up just tired. I got on a bus to central Ohio (Newark) where I only knew a cousin I hadn’t seen in 20 years. I have been in Ohio 7 years now (5/27/2015). Since that day, I have been clean from everything, I am married, we bought our first house 2 years and 5 days after I moved to Ohio, I have a great paying job with great benefits, and life couldn’t be better. We go to Florida every year to see my family and friends, most of which didn’t want anything to do with me while I was deep in addiction and now they make sure to see us while we are there. My wife has never done drugs, which has helped me a lot

  • Congratulations Fousey on your 9 months sober. This Podcast hit home for me Dec.1st will be 7 years sobriety for me. I love listening to everyone on here.. Love how Brittany and Roman talk about how they quit drinking and staying positive as a couple. Everything that Fousey spoke about is so true someone can tell you everyday to quit doing drugs or drinking and cigarettes but it has to be you who wants to changed for yourself. I was diagnosed with PTSD Family Sexually Abused and when I finally quit doing the drugs an I did this cold turkey by myself and I had anxiety so bad that I did need to take a pill to make me calm down. But I don't have any craving for drugs and when I started to love myself again i started to see life not foggy anymore. It took me to learn how to always stay positive and keep my faith in our God. So thank you Roman for this Podcast today 🙌 I needed to hear this today and remind myself life keeps getting better everyday ❤️. Prayers are Powerful...

I've noticed over the years of being sober that alcohol is EVERYWHERE. The bowling alley, top golf, the trampoline park, movies, restaurants, concerts, festivals.. It use to be really hard for me. Now it just sickens me that you cannot even go somewhere with your child/children without alcohol being present at the establishment.

I have my manic highs that I thrive on and manic lows that keep me in bed and make it hard to be a good mother to my kids. So important to spread awareness and how common it is. I know yousef talked about how the kids judged him for his mental health when he vlogged. I remember just thinking how much I related. I was an older viewer so I got it.

It's so great to see him fresh and feel like his smile is genuine now. I'm proud of you guys for your new clean living and feel like that should be discussed more on your podcast. Many people are tired of the crazy things in life and are clearing thier pallette and starting a whole new lifestyle. Tiny home or minimalistic living, homesteading, educating children at home, just a sense that we all need to learn to live cleaner in all assets of our lives. This is such a huge task to even imagine for most and if you guys can share more about how and why you eat the way you do etc. This would help inspire and educate others to learn to love themselves, their body, their mind so that they can be the strength for those in their lives.

    • Good for you. Vaping was originally designed to help smokers successfully quit smoking and a safer alternative. But the ultimate goal is to quit everything all together. I will say this though. He did get a lot of things wrong about vaping. It IS in fact a stress reducer because of the nicotine. Nicotine activates that chemical in your brain that targets the feeling of success and relaxation. What he said about "stress inducing" is all media and fear mongering brought on by big tobacco since they control most of the world. As far as disposal vapes (which I don't classify as ACTUAL vapes) they have an insanely way too high strength of nicotine that's even more addictive than cigarettes. But using an actual vaping device and using regular nicotine or synthetic nicotine is actually a lot less harmful. 4 ingredients. Vegetable Glycerin, propylene glycol, artificial and/or natural flavoring, and nicotine. Which is completely optional. Everything else is completely 100% INDIVIDUALLY FDA approved and are actually more consumed on a daily basis than you realize. But you don't see that on social media or the news. Either way, definitely good for you to stop vaping. Although it's still a habit and even though it has been proven to be 95% safer than smoking cigarettes, it was always designed to help smokers have hope in quiting smoking successfully. So good on you. Hopefully none else who has listened/watched this episode will actually listen to Fousy rant about vaping like knows anything about it or the industry. Mainly because he doesn't and he thinks he does. He's full of it. Why I stopped watching him in the first place. Anyways, good luck on your journey.
