Thank you soooooo much. I have never seen someone else covering all Galaxy camera features, on top of that so detailed and with practical use-cases. I learned a lot. And discovered existing features on Fold 4 such as the 360 audio recording. After seeing your video, I am really tempted to buy the S23 Ultra just as a camera and not as a phone😀 I hope and believe that most of the features will come to Fold 4 as well. But one feature I really want is the hyperlapse in Astro photography. I don't see any technical reasons for not bringing it to Fold 4, too. One remark regarding 8K: in my opinion it is already very usable on the underrated camera of Fold 4: no cropping and a very good stabilisation and quality.

Is the scene optimiser better off or on and what’s the difference. Also the 50mp and 200mp shots are worse to look at until you zoom in though
off topic, i also purchased that case off amazon, great protection but i found it just to bulky, i ended up returning it and got another case elsware, how have you found it ??? has the leg held up as well ??

My pleasure! Shutter lag hasn’t really affected me much. The autofocus tracking definitely helps and it can be used in pro mode. When combined with the burst shot feature it’s pretty solid.
@@OT4Tech you should really cover the contents of the Camera Assistant menu at the bottom of the camera settings. It has a few neat features, including changing the shutter trigger from when the button is released (default mode & how past Galaxy devices have all worked) to instead trigger the instant you touch the button, which may address Christophe's concern as well, as it dramatically speeds up the already improved (but still noticeable) shutter lag. Also there's some settings in there to change the priority of the shutter, whether it should prioritize speed, quality, or a balance of the two, which can further optimize this, assuming you're willing to prioritize speed over quality.

Shutter lag is a major factor I regard it as an arguable shutter speed problem too as they both effect motion blurr on stills And it is a deal breaker ! That's why I am stuck between the iPhone 14 Pro Models and the S23 ULTRA If the S23 Ultra had a shutter equal to the optimized iPhones Then one could make a comparison But between iPhone reliability on getting a clear picture Versus Samsung not getting the picture at all or getting a unusable blurred picture IT'S A NON CONTEST The iPhone WINS 🏆 AND I REITERATE IT IS A DEAL BREAKER ! # THE VIDEO ON THE iPhone is much better too . So Samsung comes out with brilliant hardware But their software optimization in comparison to Apple 🍎 just is nowhere near as good . Apple's 🍎 Cameras are protected by a full cover meaning No DUST OR GRIME OR DIRT can ever be on their lenses " EVER ! " Apple iPhone 14 Pro models are rock solid ! The only downfall with the iPhone 14 Pro models are : They do blow out the sky sometimes The do not handle brightness well at times on certain lenses No Spen or Stylus Lower but more than adequate zoom capability AND THE WORST IS NO USB-C But Apple is a POINT AND SHOOT NO HASSEL " GET THE SHOT " CAMERA SETUP AND IPHONE HAS PROFESSIONAL VIDEO GUARANTEED # Of course one option is to take a chance on the S23 Ultra And get the iPhone 15 Pro model in Oct too # Is it too much to ask on a PREMIUM S23 ULTRA TO HAVE A DECENT SHUTTER when the competition has a decent shutter . # Also check how an iPhone will fit into or integrate with your existing technology before deciding , But for media - IT'S iPhone ! And here is another facet Both apple 🍎 and samsung have removed native call recording , and both prevent call recording apps , and therefore third party controlled apps work on Samsung which means they are unreliable and they have access to your recorded calls , which is of course OUT OF THE QUESTION ! But there is a top quality easy to use brilliant external device call recorder that a company has produced that attaches to the rear magnet on an iPhone and records calls expertly and there's no subscription - IT'S a straight purchase ! THE RECORDING DEVICE IS A MAGMO , Which works brilliantly on the iPhone with crystal clear phone recordings and it handles background noise perfectly no matter the environment in which the call is being recorded . BUT it doesn't work well with android phones by comparison . # The S23 Ultra would be an obvious choice if Samsung never prevented call recording And had a decent shutter . But those combined factors are absolute deal breakers ONE CAN NEVER EVER ACCEPT A POOR SHUTTER ON A FLAGSHIP ! IT'S A 100% DEAL BREAKER !

Is there any way to change the angle of the selfie camera , as an example i take the picture facing on the right and comes out on the left
I don't mind long and detailed video, way better than the fast shorts. just click save and create a playlist ( 23 camera settings) and it will be easier to look for it when needed. I love this video very much and will be my go-to video when I need help with settings, thank you very much, I love your style of taking us with you while you do your live tutorials, sometimes long video makes me sleepy but not yours, it's very entertaining and educational. Would love to see more of what s23 is capable of. Have a Blessed life!
Should taf be used only when Subject is moving slowly and super steady when object is moving fast like say during sports?
If I wanted to take a snap shot of our inventory shelves. But be able to zoom or crop in to see lot numbers. Is it just zooming with 2 fingers on the photo? I'm not sure I'm doing it correctly

Can't use tracking auto focus and super steady at the same time. Is it the same thing or something? I would love for super steady to still be on while using auto focus tracking so I can keep things in picture and not have blur when they move

Brilliant and very informative video 👍 When I select 3:4 200mp photo, and then close the camera app it defaults back to 3:4. On the S22 Ultra it would stay on your last chosen ratio. Is there a way to do this on the S23 or do you always have to select 200mp to take the picture?

Good camera review, I have the phone but my one issue currently is you seemingly cannot turn off the shutter sound. Compared the settings with my friend who has s22 ultra and his has a settling to turn it off. I hope they add it in an update, I take lots of bird pics and I need to put the whole phone in vibrate/silent mode to not gain the birds attention. + in general I don't need a speaker played sound to know if and when I take a picture
I agree. Yday I was searching for that specific setting and no luck. Yet I found out that there is an app for silent camera, but installing a new software to mute the camera sound stupid.
@@sweets7092 in main sounds/vibration settings as well it shows a setting for toggling vibration feedback for cam but not sound. I definitely wouldn't download a separate silent cam app since it can be muted via putting the phone in vibration/silent mode.
Guys, you can silent the camera sound. 1st you have to go Setteing, then click sound and vibration. Now click System sound. If you mute the System sound volume here, it will silent the camera clicking sound. I hope so..

I use the phone's camera for interior interior inspections. Trying to take a picture of a crack in the ceiling or wall and the phone seems to struggle with tracking the crack on a video. In focuses and unfocuses often and ends with it staying unfocused and I have to move the camera to another subject to refocus and try again. But it never works. Heck am I doing wrong?? 🤷

Can you do a video of setting up pro mode live with exposure compensation white balance et cetera in different environments taking the video and showing the playback step-by-step a lot of times a lot of creators will just talk about it but not actually use it in this video you did talk about it but we didn't actually see you use it in an exercise so I would definitely like to see that on indoor and outdoor usage in different lighting and at 24 FPS to see how it looks thanks. Also do you recommend shooting in 30 fans for 2nd for just everyday walking around video shoot 24 FPS but I know a lot of people like 60 FPS but for me I feel like people only need to use that if they're going to slow down footage other than that I would stick to 24 or 30 60 just looks too fake
OK what are my missing guys? every time I shoot video and trying to zoom in or out? I am getting a major hitch as the camera switches lenses. It's like a bump or a minute timelag so there's no seamless playback. Is this a setting that I have missed? My phone is a day old.😅

Are the larger megapixel shots only able to be taken in the 3:4 format as you showed?
Yes. I’m assuming Samsung did this because 3:4 is full sensor read out. Therefore any other aspect ratio would result in decreased resolution since it’s cropping in on the sensor.

Brilliant idea of going to Ikea! So on iPhone you can push and hold the camera button to take video then drag your finger up/down for a nice cinematic zoom. On Samsung, you tap record then push and hold the zoom level button and drag your finger left/right but it's a very stuttery zoom. That's the party I'm wondering about - how smooth is the video zoom on the S23U? Samsung always does a particularly horrible job on the lens hand off while video zooming compared to iPhone. I know there's a lot to cover in these camera videos but in my 10 years selling cell phones this was the biggest yet least talked about camera benchmark.
