Everton Supporter here. My Son in law(Sheffield lad) and 2 granddaughters where in the away end whilst we (son, daughter & cousins ) took our season ticket seats adjacent. Thought you guys were poor, however what support, brilliant! Us blues were relaxed and secure in our premier league position, it could have been different for us! All credit to Sheffield United supporters you sang and supported your team magnificently!! Good luck next season. COYB
The disappointment at 95% of this team is obvious on the gaffers face 😔 and I feel his frustration. I believe in Chris Wilder and as long as the prince backs him financially I believe we'll be back in the premiere league in a couple of years (hopefully next year 🙏) but we desperately need some heavy hitters to give our club the money to compete in the premiere league and to establish ourselves as a top 10 team year in and year out C'MON YOU BLADES 👏💪👏
Chris has built a Blades team with the right attitude before. This squad had folded mentally and physically before he even walked through the door. I am confident he can build a new squad, but he needs to get rid of ALL those players that folded without a fight!! He also needs to sort out the fitness and medical teams so we have players that can give 100 minutes of football each game without breaking down.
Coming to the end now of a very difficult and "one to forget" season. Out with the old and in with the new (season and attitude). Yeah, I still believe in Chris to reshuffle the squad effectively. WILDER THE MAN,THE MAN WHO CAN!! Faith and belief for next season, for sure 👍❤️🌟🩵
You'll see what he's made off one way or the other.failure will be no automatic return
@@DavidManifield I have to disagree with you, unfortunately. I think the Blades need at least one season (if not two) in tier two. I guess it depends on 3 things: 1) Will Prince Abdullah be backing Chris financially? 2) If he doesn't, will Chris be able to secure the correct players on a budget? 3) Will the players be willing to show passion, fight and tenacity in each and every game? I don't think United will be promoted within one season, but hey, I'd sure be ecstatic and swinging from the chandeliers if that was to happen 😲😲! Up the mighty Blades 👍❤️✌️
@@Beverley-yf5ec I haven't watched em for years only occasionally on TV. I watch my local non league team and place of my Birth(Worksop) where having a cup run matters to both club and fans unlike the top two tier leagues
Let's see how the prince handles next season not holding my breath!
Well you'll have the parachute payments most of the other clubs won't and you can be the Charlie big bollocks for another season
Never seen anyone ever clutch at Straws as much as this guy.
He's good at clutching at the money this un imaginative club throw at him, payed off millions and they have him back, chip shop vinegar comes to mind
Exactly..all this one of our own stuff .dear oh dear
Bring back Billy sharpe what a legend and he was with the away fans today true blade
Past it is past it and he's even older than he was last year, funnily enough.
@joesoy9185 he's still a true blade and would run his socks off for 90 minutes, unlike some players on that pitch at the minute sam Curtis played well today
@@ryanfox2966 Unfortunately, running is not enough - scoring is what it´s about.
As much of a blades legend he is… don’t talk stupid
Craftplay in view , our fans are fantastic line trying to be one of the lads, he walked away 2 years ago been sacked twice, and comes crawling back ,only got set on because the owner had nowhere to go,bring back the "legend " never his fault
Same old same old and nothing will change next season.
You change your mind in the comments section like ya mam changes her men
@@BossTweed69 Says he who never met his Dad.
@KAZUYADOG very presumptuous of you. Wrong though. Nice try.
@@BossTweed69 Don't believe the fairy stories your wet nurse told you.
Why didn’t the prince back him with a decent financial budget in January??
We already have a two-point deduction for not paying debts on time, that's why.
But findings was promised - 2, points in championship why not back him to try and stay up 🤷🏿♂️
Not got any money. Loaned up to the eye balls when in The Championship used Prem money to pay it off.
Poundland Prince ...Prince Al Skint ..and Taxiiiiiiiiiii for Betis and Wilder ...I will pay their fare
No point,we’d gone as soon as the 0-8 to Newcastle.
I'm bummed about Sheffield United's relegation, and it's a bummer that we won't get to see the super sexy coach Chris Wilder anymore. He is certainly one of the most attractive coaches in Europe.
Should have brought someone for the remainder of the season when Hecky was sacked. Wilder could have returned in pre season and started afresh for the Championship. Now he's drained by seeing us relegated, and clearly there's a disconnect between him and some players. The concern is Wilder needs to change too, his "type" of player is less common now, his ways and words do lead to fall outs.
This is what they cut: "Most importantly given the responsibility of leading the club when I had that opportunity to. Unbelievable moments and we've shared together, myself, the staff, and those supporters and I am so desperate to repeat that. Incredibly desperate to repeat that, working tirelessly toward that and I will do and we all will do because they deserve a little bit better "
Loanees are not the answer - they stay for a season and then bugger off into the mist. We need a continuous building up and bonding of the squad over a several years,
Will the prince back him financially in the championship?
You can see the frustration, and hopefully change can happen next season. I’m backing you Chris. Say to everyone in the club. We are blades no matter what, and we will sing loud and proud and stick together. UTB
Hopefully the owner has sold on
The Prince didn't back us when we actually got promoted and had the windfall money that brought. What makes you think he'll put the money in now? Even if by some miracle we got promoted again he would do the same thing over, bank the cash and go back down. You won't see the Club you want now until the owners have gone. Again they couldn't sell the club for the price they wanted as a PL side, so they certainly won't be selling now as they'd have to virtually give the club away.
Sounded class bladesmen we go again roll on next season
Very strange you cut the part where Wilder said he wants to repeat the success he had before here. Club not matching his ambition? Pathetic if true.
Delusional !!!!!!!
Hi @DavidManifield. Thanks so much for your message. I'm so sorry I may have been presumptuous. I'm a big Blades fan, and I care about what happens to them. Thanks for letting me know your opinion anyway, plus the fact that you support your local football team - Worksop 👍. They're doing great, aren't they? Top job and thanks for your replies. Take care 👍
Would love it if a journalist asked what mistakes he's made as all very easy to blame it on the players.
I think its about building a team for the future with the money you get from being ] PL. Just as my team Ipswich will find how difficult the PL is. But go down and build and stuff it to the Wednesday for us 💪
Mr Blameless!!
Wilder is pathetic get rid asap or league one again
Just how is this guy still manager
Time for a fresh start from top to bottom bringing Chris back was a mistake ⚽
See you next season lads 👍 UTC
Something as been cut from that interview
We need two class centre backs who know how to defend and marshall the rest ov the team lee dixon would make a proper defence coach for us
Jags or Morgan would be better
Lot less confident in Wilder doing a job for us next season. He needs a massive change in the way he wants to play and set up a team. For me new season new blood.
Have faith in Chris,he’ll sort it out 100%
Excuses excuses sack wilder now and back room staff useless new a new manager with new ideas
Id like to ask Chris based on his comment, should we get promoted again which is highly unlikely, the league "is just too strong for us" are we going to take the money and concede 100 goals again and complain how ruthless the league is. Id like to know as I won't be buying a PL Season ticket. The supporters got properly shafted. I don't believe in refunds etc you pay your money and take your chance, but this season for me has gone exactly to plan, we always intended to get pounded every week and go down while pocketing the cash. I have a season ticket and I won't be going to our last game, I've been a Blade since 1986 and theres no way I'm applauding this side and manager off at the end of the season
It's no surprise why we only got above 20k once in those 6 seasons in league one with these fairweather supporters.
Well said ..I agree ..I've been following united all over the place since the mid 70s ..how wilder is currently manager is beyond belief
finished where you started at the bottom
A league too far for Sheffield. Take comfort from the fact that Man U spent £400+ million this season and have nothing to show for it.
This shower wouldn't win the third division there is no heart or passion and it wants a complete clear out and hope this prince sells up
Disappointing and emotional
That interview he kicked players under bus nothing about bad tactics his bad coaching your ownership is wrong he won't be spending money and let's face player he bring in January transfer his players not paul so your coach not good enough for premier league he a average championship coach at best
Wilder looks broken. You can't get a tune out of a whoopi cushion. Team full of wind bags. Breathing out of their backsides and blowing with the wind. Ive seen more resilience in a wet kit kat. Worst Blades team I've seen in 40 years. The defence was AWOL all season. Out fought, out played and out of their depth. Atrocious. There is something seriously wrong with how this club is run from the top down. 2 premier league promotions in 5 years and we can't compete financially or on the pitch!! Full clear out needed before anything properly changes for the better. Wilder looks defeated already. He's probably been told the budget for next season. £10 and some primark vouchers, and he's probably expected to give the club some change back for a Chip Butty!
Very poor manager and he seems to believe that his long connections with the club, justify his retention for another season. He constantly blames the players for poor tactics, lack of physicality, mindset and so on, yet it is his responsibility to instill these characteristics in the players at his disposal. He is an ' old skool' dinosaur of a manager, totally out of his depth and way off the pace. Not fit to lead the team next year.
Well said ..it just won't work with him as manager .. baffling how he is still manager ..needs a new start
The Blades fans didn't expect United getting a result from todays fixture at Everton because of this most humiliating, horrible, dreadful season that it's been from the very start ( Pre - Season included ) to the very finish. The fans give their hearts to Sheffield United and they wanted to show it at the final away game. Give them something to sing and shout about next season Chris, let's be up there at very the top of the pile. Putting it politely ... that bloody defence, sort it out Chris along with all the other departments. ⚔️⚔️⚔️UTB ⚔️⚔️⚔️
Wilder the man
Faith in wilder ❤
They were shit FACT......
Well said Chris. Don’t want anybody else in charge of my football club. UTB
