I HAVE A STORY FOR THIS. This isn’t my story, but it’s my dad’s. Me and my parents were out camping in Toledo Bend when I was 10. My dad is a night owl, so he was walking around and smoking a cigarette out in the wilderness at about 4 in the morning. He said that he heard rustling and assumed it was a small animal of some sort. He looked down and saw what he described as something humanoid, but it wasn’t quite right. It was crawling on the ground and somewhat translucent, almost like jello I was woken up when he ran inside hyperventilating. He’s not the type to make stuff up like that, and always tries to come up with a scientific explanation for everything, so I do fully believe him. The best theory we have is that he hallucinated it since we both have hallucinations sometimes

I used to live in the deep wilderness of Alaska, and some animals make some crazy sounds, especially at night. Retiring early at 42, buying several acres of land the furthest into the wilderness I can this coming summer. Man I can't wait, I loved it the last time, I only left because it was a pain when I needed to go into town for work, now i don't need to worry about that anymore.

@@yoongistongue4163 I'm only getting a little more than half of what I would get if I retired at 65, but that's ok because I won't need that much. Land tax isn't that bad, and the only other things I'll need to go into town and buy are things I can't make, grow, or hunt myself.

I sorta have a story When me and my step brother were around 8 years old, we decided to camp out in our yard We both stayed up a little late playing games or watching videos on our tablets. He went to sleep sooner than I did, and my tablet was illuminating the inside of the tent. I heard something, paused the video, and looked to the side. Something fluttered against the tent, something too big to be a moth or cicada, but too small to be a night bird. I still don’t know what it was but it spooked me lol
as they say, if you're afraid of the dark it's not actually the dark you fear but not being alone. good thing i never was into camping anyway😅

I have a story that happened to me( please try to include this in your next video). So I was about 7 or 8 when this happened, I went to one of my relatives marriage function ( this happened in India ) so usually we would stay for 3 days in the hotel near the function and on the third day we would go to the ceremony. It was the second day and I was playing hide and seek with my cosin. It was my turn to hide so I chose to hide in the reseption room which was connected to the main hall. As I was hiding there were two reseptionists sitting on a chair near a table. I could hear them whisper to each other. After some time one of them asked me if I had brought a blue rc car to the wedding and I said no, one of them smiled and told me that they have a blue rc car under the table and they asked me if I wanted it. I replied no but they insisted that I go under the table. Thankfully I felt something was wrong and I ran away. later that day I secretly came to the reception room and I could hear one of them saying to the other one " we could have kidnapped him" . After hearing this I told my mom and my dad but they never believed me.

Sounds more as a dis to your parents not keeping an eye on their child so they were only stating you could of been kidnapped.

Keep going bro I have one when I was freshman at college we went to a field trip to the beach to collect invertebrates, we camp nearby on the sand, had good sleeping until I heard noices 😮 and someone grabed my foot when I woke up saw a terrible face, but ended being one classmate making pranks 😅

Whereas I've had two separate supernatural encounters while I was lying (then sitting) in my own bed at home! I mean no offense in asking this, but is it possible something did happen that you made fit into something "totally normal and explainable?" Again, I mean no offense. I've just known a LOT of people who made the most convoluted twists and turns and stretches in "logic" to explain something away, instead of just acknowledging "Hey! @@DravenGal oh no not offended at all I mean I've heard weird things and believe me I have looked for weird things to happen I want something paranormal to happen and I never seem to find it I mean I've been in some abandoned houses before and heard sounds but never anything you know that really proves anything and I've been in the woods with my whole life and I'm aware of the wildcats and stuff that's out there that can get you out there especially here in Texas I've just never been able to find something like Cryptid or paranormal my mother has told me a paranormal experience that she's had my dad had a couple of experiences with a Cryptid in the woods camping before I was born but I've just never ran into it yet and believe me I'm looking I would love to encounter something like that I really would and it's not buying it or riding it off as anything else I just have not had concrete proof appeared right in my line of sight now that's not to say something hasn't happened around me that I didn't see which could always be a possibility but I've just never been able to encounter something crazyI've encountered plenty of times where my natural tuition picks up clues that lead up to keeping me from having an accident or something which apparently my dad was able to do is kind of like being able to predict the outcomes and I've always believed that was kind of Supernatural but most people just say you're really good at problem-solving but you know I'm talking about like I want to see Bigfoot or see a ghost or something like that but it's just never happened yet!! Camping out in southern Utah one time had an experience that left me a true believer in skinwalkers, and I wasn't the only person who was left with that belief afterwards. Not going to go into the full story cause it spans the course of 6 or 7 hours and genuinely paranormal things happening all night. What had started it all was my uncle doing a "skinwalker summoning ritual" that had a bluetooth speaker playing creepy noises as the punchline, but things kept going and getting more real. Or I guess unreal. Things like unexplainable footprints in circles around our tents, humanoid figures literally vanishing into thin air, etc., and everything happening with multiple witnesses and the dogs getting freaked out by things we couldn't see. I still go camping because those experiences are just part of life if you like camping in the american midwest and I've had other unsettling experiences since then but I will never forget that night.

The Bigfoot was 100% a Bear 🐻. Especially if they take a huge piss near you, all the stories of Bigfoot will come into focus, as their stank is absolutely supernatural. Others on here are mostly crazy homeless people or illegals. The most dangerous issues would likely come from cartel methlabs or weed farms; especially going upwards from northern California. Although the story of the little girl is definitely intriguing.
At 10:40 time stamp on Bobcats scream. That was actually a fox, I believe a female orange fox. Not a bobcat scream.
That was a bobcat search up bobcat screams and it should sound the same i live in Saskatchewan and some live near my house and i hear there screams almost every day.

21:00. Just like that guy, the person he found in the woods was walking around with a flashlight. Considering that, I find it hard to believe that he passed out and was then ”horrified” that this person found him. He’s walking around with a *beam of light* in total darkness for fucks sake. It’s extremely obvious where you are. He was also unharmed when he woke up the next morning. So it was probably just a scary experience with a stranger.

I use to camp a lot when I was younger, I had 2 scary moments, once when I got caught in the rappids and almost went over a waterfall (we called it wackinassin river) and the time I came face to face with 2 large bears that looked quite pissed and thought well I am dead and when it started approaching me thank god my 2 uncles and aunt where there (I did not know they were there I thought I was alone). This last experience I just wanted to share, went camping at a place were little worms were falling out of the trees at the site constantly like it was raining for 3 days but not water... As someone who has a bug phobia that was pretty bad too but I also learned on that camping trip that I really like mudslides (the drink)

Please try to include this one in your next video... I was like 8 years old when this happened. A family that we knew invited my family, and a few other families, over to their house for dinner. One of my friends was there, so we hanged out There was these two male teenagers, like 16 or something, that my friend liked to joke around with. Me and my friend decided to make a "treasure hunt" for them(reminder that we were like 8) The last part of the hunt was to get the "treasure" that was inside their chicken coop. One of the teenagers then claimed they saw a shadow moving, and flashed his flashlight on it. We all saw the shadowy figure, like the chupacabra or something. One of the teenagers then shouted something, and we all ran inside. It was quite a long time ago, but it still freaks me out.

I have a great story, so I lived in Germany for about 3 years and when I was there I was in a scout troop. and in that scout troop we had a myth about a creature called the bunny man. the reason this started was because of a very very creepy experience: so we occasionally camped at a place called hill 549. and at that place was a couple old buildings from world war 2. and in one of them was something really unsettling: there was some chairs put in a circle all facing inward towards the middle, in the middle there was another chair but there was also a photo in that chair. the photo was a black and white photo of a boy, who looked like they were crying, and behind that boy there was a man, dressed up in a bunny costume

19:32 That could be a possible skin walker. Skin walkers are known to have shown different colored lights at night. White being the most harmless and Red being the most dangerous, having known to imitate human voices/victims.
Somehow it's even more terrifying when it turns out to be a person doing the creepy stuff. You'd expect a ghost to haunt, but you wouldn't expect a person to haunt.

this has got nothing to do with camping or hiking but when i was younger, we had a house that had one of those door handles where you just push down on the handle, it opens. our dog learned how to open the door to get inside (she was an outside dog at the time) by jumping up and kicking it down. our cat decided to copy her in the best way that she could (since she was so much smaller) to go outside and come back in. there was multiple times where we (me and my parents) woke up in the middle of the night , finding the door open. at first it freaked us out (or at least it freaked me out) but we finally saw that our cat opening the door while we were sitting in the living room on the couch and figured it out.
