The ancient city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan is at the very heart of the Silk Road. Starting with ancient Sogdian civilization leading up to Alexander the Great, The great Persian King Xerxes, and many more including the Russian Empire the people of Uzbekistan have been through a lot.

It was capital of Turkish Kağanate in one period of its history, and it was vital city of Karakhanid Kağanate. Tashkent is suğdian and turkic area (in our period more turkic) "Táshkent" means "City of stone" and there are other theories, too. I adore you, my brother. ❤

Also only lost as timur Malik and jalaludin his son were away as his mother was trying to take control of the empire with her pechinek Turk kazak armies….

But geography snd ongoing migrations once out of east Africa created many ETHNIC groups that continued to mix. That is our diversity. There is no “racial” diversity as er str ALL of one human race. But we are ethnically diverse which inky makes us less boring and more interesting. Can you imagine if we were all 100%alike? • Indian subcontinent had everything, so they didn't need to go out and conquer other lands. India is larger than half of Europe, we already had so much land and people so why conquer other lands. It was already hard to maintain an empire within India, how they will think about going to other places. All the invaders that came to India, permanently settled here and never left this place because they had everything they wanted here. Religion also played a major role in this because Hindus never forced and believed in converting others to their religion, so there was no religious motivation for them unlike most of the invading empires around the world.
