Lately i got very emotionally invested in the game since it seems we're nearing the end!!! I've listened to the ost on my own time because it's just too good...i never played games like that and propably never would have if i hadn't been invited to join in this campaign. i'm surprised how much i have grown to love it!!! Makes me emotional to listen to these renditions in BG3! After i have played both Divinity games, i will be sure to check out this one!! I always give Wyll the flute once he has horns it just looks right for some unexplainable reason
When you put it like that, it reminded me of a narnia character playing the flute to Lucy
Gale boasts about his skills using his tongue and mouth, He definitely should use the flute.
You're probably thinking of Pan. He's a goatman who play instruments, usually the pan flute or other flutes in artwork.
@@whippethacreem7299 That's it! I had forgotten about that myth. I was thinking it was the Satyr from Chronicles of Narnia but it was Pan.
I agree, but the flute with Gale also fits cause of what happens when he dies. Additionally I also agree with Asterion with the violin.
I hope modders end up putting even more songs in would be cool to get bonus bard song packs.
I hope that happens too!
Like Toss A Coin To Your Witcher ?
@@barbuck1272And probably something from Doom, because of course they will.
Your timing was perfect, really incredible work!
you sure it doesn't automatically make them play together? There was a little "+" on the perform, I presumed it implied they start together. Perhaps not?
@@AwesomeZpyGamer Ya. It's kind of awesome that I can't tell if the game automatically syncs the musicians up, or if the video maker just timed it well enough.
@@AwesomeZpyGamerThey sync automatically, but it's your timing that decides their entry point
Yeah he was just making it cooler by layering the parts. They play in sync.
If only this was on Spotify, this is perfect music for driving on a desolate road, no destination in sight, just following the setting sun and feeling free
I still remember the first time I freed Lohse from the demon's hold in DoS2, the fact that you get to hear her sing an actual song in-game is such a great reward for all the time you spend fighting through everything to get her to freedom. Much better than some piece of equipment or OP accessory as a quest reward
Such a beautiful moment
Eff saving the world. We're going on tour.
And then Dark Urge casts Thunderwave Lv.6 to push them off the cliff because Larian Std. is cool like that.
Totally agree with the choice of musical instrument for each band member. You clearly didn't just hand them out randomly and that makes this video even more awesome. P.S. I'd realy love to see Gale and Astarion as 70's glam rockers and Minsk as a band drummer .
E
Especially because Gale’s death wallet has the magic flute in it
right? it makes so much sense somehow! Halsin playing the lute I think is my favourite 🥰
And just like that for 5 minutes and a half a whole journey I once had along the roads of Rivellon flood to me like the mighty Source itself. Seeing those BG3 characters playing this song really gives me the feeling of the continuation of a glorious legacy. I'll always remember Lohse, The Beast, Sebille, Ifan, the Red Prince and Fane just like I hope I'll always remember Shadowheart, Karlach, Gale, Astarion, Wyll and Lae'zel. I thanks the power music have to help you remember and experience once again the emotions of your memories. Thank you for this video
💙
They've already confirmed that another Divinity game is in the works.
awesome video. if you rescue Volo and Alfria, and the rest of the Teiflings, during the party at your camp, you can get those 2 to join you in a song and have all the instruments playing at once. If you have no instrument and "perform" I think you will whistle along.
Minsc playing the drum is seems fitting
"In many ways, the beating of the drum is similar to the kicking of the butts. And Minsc is an expert at the butt-kicking! ... Hmm...? Yes, Boo, you can have a turn at the drum hitting as well, but be careful to not hit the drum too hard! ...Minsc cannot afford another one."
I love this so much! it has absolutely no reason to be in the game but Larian studios is just so passionate and love what they make and this is proof
Never played the game before, never heard the song before, i came in thinking it was gonna be funny or something but this is just beautiful
this song isnt from this game.
@@DieGurke_ yeah its from DOS:2 right?
@@Yuuki-jp4ob yes
It's more or less the anthem of my favorite character from DoS2. It's incredibly thematic for her character motivations and the moment she is able to freely sing it is easily one of the more powerful moments in the story.
The song already was great but man Astarion and Gale coming in at the end just stealing the show!
This is so amazing. The level of detail and care that went into this game is massive. Thats why it is already now the best game of rhe decade imo
my favorite boy band, for sure.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Baldur's street boys!
I know I already commented here a few months ago, but I need to thank you again. These videos are what convinced me to buy the game. Since then I've played through it twice, and hitting credits for the last time was just... magical. It's been quite a journey and left so much more of an impact on me than I ever anticipated. Baldur's Gate 3 has been something truly special, and for me, it all started here, with this song. Very excited to play the game this song actually originated from.
Holy hell the flute came out at the exact right time
the excessive flourishes of the flute really suit gale. good work!
In DoS2 there was a moment in the last fight when fight music calmed down and divinity sin started to play in silence, it was amazing. Now in BG3 when I have bard in my party I can create this amazing sound effect in every battle and it is one of the best things in the game!
I want to thank you from the bottom I’ve my heart. I’m buying this game but couldn’t decide between a lawful good battle orc and a tiefling bard. I think you finally broke that tie for me
Their shadows are pretty mesmerising to watch
Loved the staggered entry. Ive done this so many times. Its nice to see how devs get music and games are so intertwined
This song is quest reward in DOS2 and one of the most amazing endings to a quest I have ever seen.
Timed the flute section perfectly! Beautifully done!
Now I need to see it with the whislting too :D
I'm currently playing thru DOS2 with my 3 brothers. We've been playing that campaign for over a year now!! It's so tough to find time together, and when we do, we can only play for few hours. I'm sure it will be as amazing as everyone says it is, bcz i love DOS2 so much too and it seems this game studio really puts love and care in their games, can be seen even in features like forming a band and playing songs from a past game🥹💗
That’s it, this is game of the year. No contest.
I love Baldur's gate 3 And watch this I love BG3 even more and more
This is why Bards are the Best!! This Inner Bard can Confess! I am Impressed! They are well Performed and well Dressed! (sung in the Style of Raphael Boss Theme )
So now have to respec all my characters into bards to perform a concert. Got it.
My kinda boy band right there. But for real, this is freaking amazing. Thank you for making it.
Nice job! I personally never got the mod to work, glad someone was able to get a full band together.
Being able to jam together makes this game a 10/10 for me😂
Thanks for making this. I haven't played Larian's games - whether it's the Divinity games or Baldur's Gate 3. I did however just stumble upon Lohse's song recently and have been listening on repeat for like a hundred times. And this is a wonderful homage to it. A great wind down after voraciously consuming an absolute banger of a tune. So thanks! Also, I might have to give the Divinity games a chance. Heard good things.
They make the game really enjoyable and exciting to play with a co-op party. Probably the best way to experience the intended impact of the game! (I'm sure a follow up single player run-through would still be fun to immerse yourself).
m8 there are 3 video games in the world that have made me straight up ugly cry and Larian made 2 of them. They are masterpieces, I’m not using the term lightly.
@@phumble87what's the 3rd :D
If you experiences Lohse's story (esp play as her), the song make even a greater impact. Actually, even haunting!
YES play it!! Play it before bg3 even, if you feel like it, coz then you get to experience the evolution in sequence. If the song hit you, the game will too I promise!
why should it be remembered as the greatest rpg ever made? THIS IS WHY!
you can make it 6 instruments if you play next to Volo
I feel enthralled, someone's picking my pocket while I'm watching and I haven't noticed yet.
I just teared up, had no idea you could do this. Brought back so many memories from divinity2 and Lohse 's character story end... Just beautiful that they included this.
I remember playing this as Lohse after killing Adramalikh, chills
Still gives me goosebumps, was such an epic moment in DOS 2! Being able to recreate that feeling in BG 3 is just awesome!
It is not game of the year, it is game of the century!
I needed this in my life so badly! Thank you!
Got me tearing up and everything, thank you so much
OK! you just made me create a group of bards now and play the entire campaign again for the 17th time
The -Cleric- Bardic Quintet
Thank you Larian Studios. I bought the deluxe edition when i saw this video. I really appreciate you adding this memorable song to Baldur's Gate 3.
Astarion's absolutely shredding that violin lmao. What a beautiful video. I always play that song during battle but never thought of playing it as a band
Why am I about to cry 😭 I’m nearing the end of the game and everything is so tense and emotional and seeing all the boys playing this gorgeous music together is going to break me
I just imagine finishing the game and play myself a tribute/outro song like that. Epic!
man I love the bardstreet boys
Absolutely wonderful!!!
einfach unglaublich wie viel Liebe ins Detail Larian Studios uns hier mit diesem Meisterwerk herbeigezaubert hat
This game probably could've fetched $100 a copy. People would've complained, but it is so worth it or more. So much content and so much replayability. It's a masterpiece we'll be playing for years.
In Australia it’s $105 and I bought it so 🤷
This is beautiful :) Thanks for sharing!
it would be lovely to hear Lohse sing over this iteration of the song
This game never ceases to amaze me, Im 800 hours in and have never thought to do this sweet jam!
This was so lovely, it gave me goose bumps. Thanks for sharing.
(Absolute)ly wonderful.
This video makes me happy. Thank you.
This is so awesome, I love this game so much
wow, this is great!!! TY for sharing
beautiful absolutely beautiful!!
This is so beautiful, thank you for taking the time to make this💚🖤
Whoever made this, bless your soul forever. This is brilliant
This is amazing, yet another small reason this game is so great!
That was VERY well done!!
Ive played THOUSANDS of hours in DOS2 and that song just brings back so many fun memories from that game and how much I loved it. I really thank Larion for adding that for us OG players of Larion Games.
Such a pretty song!!
Lohse grabbing Tav by the neck: "Look what they need to mimic a fraction of my power!"
BG3 is one of the best games ive ever played but i long fir a new dos and i still enjoy dos2 abit mor over bg3. larian are gods
This can be upgraded to 6 by removing and instrument and performing, they'll whistle the song so there'd be 6 unique playstyles at the same time
This brings tears
Well I guess my next playthrough will be bard.
Played the cracked version but I'll be waiting for the discount so I can pay larian studio for the amazing experience theyy gave me.
I saw this and decided that I want to make a Drow that dual wields hand crossbows and plays a lute. Like a stereotype cowboy. A Drowboy, if you will.
So good! ❤❤❤
this was fantastic!!!
This is how you imagine you with the boys playing a song for the girl you serenading. Even if you're good at playing or not. 🤷😂😂🤣🤣👌👌💯
It's just awesome! My applause.
As if this game couldn’t get any better..it did lol
I love when the devs do such little easter eggs connecting their games, this is amazing!
GOTY2023, even if it's not your kind of game, you are crazy if you can't see all the quality and attention to details.
Larian knew exactly what we wanted ❤
Oh this is wonderful, this game is amazing.
what a magical, beautful idea! It makes me so emotive, as if I know all these people personally (ok, in a sense I do ;)), and now they play the most beautiful song... my favourite boy band! ;) thank you!
