That's why McDonald's and In-N-Out uses red and yellow in their brand colors. Red for increasing our appetite, and yellow indicates speed (for fast food).
Cerita Dari Korea No this dish is very taste
Note to self: Never watch these videos during bedtime
Too late. Doin it right now. Now im hungry.huhuuh
Richard Lew 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Too late watching it during bedtime too!
Richard Lew yeah... terrible idea LoL
it's 1:27am and I'm still watching T.T send help sos
This looks like a dish you would eat if you were hung over or high. Everything but the kitchen sink.
lol i just smoked a bowl, lowkey craving this with rice
yes because this dish will make you sweat everything out!
It's actually very popular among young Koreans for this exact reason. If you drink too much the night before, go out with your friends the next day to have some of this and half a gallon of water, and you'll be feeling... well, you won't feel as bad as you were.
This dish actually got its origins because of food shortages in Korea during the Korean war, so Korean natives would go to American army bases to get cheap, processed meats. Then one restaurant owner started making stews with them and that's how this dish got started. So war and famine birthed this.
never again will i watch your videos in bed, so hungry now!!!
bahahahahahaha (Evil laugh)
Lol! I always watch cooking videos before bed. It's something positive and neutral :) plus gives me great ideas for meals during the week :)
Meeeee toooooooo
Adopt me please... I want delicious food!!!
Eri Sawachhika I was just going to say that

Love, love, love your recipes!!! We are Australian and have started cooking your recipes, first was Bibimbap and now your shaking beef. Really like the fact that your hubby is there tasting your food and very encouraging. Stay happy
"Two tablespoons of plain baked beans... YAAASSSSSS!" 😂😂😂
ikr 😂
YAAAAASSSS!!!
;-;
Love this stuff. I work in the semiconductor industry and we often travel to S Korea for work. When at home (in Gloucester, MA) some of us occasionally get together at lunch and prepare budae jigae in a conference room using an electric skillet. Everyone is assigned an ingredient to bring in. I haven't been to Korea in almost six years, looking forward to my next trip. The food is incredible. Cheers.
Love the team work. 😂
one of the best hangover remedies....I kid you not.
lol
I'm so glad you remade this video! I love it even more!
This is the best budae jjigae recipe I have found in like EVER... btw, your recipes are the best because I have found I don’t have to follow them exactly, they are very flexible and allow me to change some ingredients if I don’t have what you are suggesting. This is proof you have the best recipes because other ones taste bad if you change the smallest thing in them! Keep up the good work girl!!!
Omg this was the BEST recipe I’ve EVER MADE! I’ve never made Korean food before and this was an absolute HIT! The only thing I did different was substitute spam and hot dogs for fish cake and chicken thighs since I don’t eat pork. But WOW thank you so much for this recipe!
I first had this in Suwon Korea outside the Samsung factory. It's been a favorite ever since. Amazing!
Making this recipe this week so excited
brings back memories......so good....
I lived in Uijeongbu for a year and had my first budaejigae there and it’s amazing!!!!
Your accent is so thick, but your English is PERFECT. It's so strange! lol

First time viewer and omg I love your accent 😂😘
I made this for my family and it was delicious! The sauce is absolute fab! I used less spicy red pepper powder, so it didn't turn out too spicy. Also, the sauce is great on cold naengmyun, aka 물냉면! Thank you for the recipe~ ♡
Your personality is contagious!
can't stop watching all your recipe's. thank you
I've always loved Korean food, but I always thought it was too hard to make at home. You're videos are so helpful and delicious! I'm so happy I can make this stew whenever I want :) Thank you!

Unnie,You're literally my favorite KZheadr!! I've just tried this, and boy this is spicy as hell. Loving it though!
TTYL Memox may be korean gochugaro(chilli powder is less spicy)

Just watching this alone, is satisfying. Can't wait to make it!
My sister just cooked this using your recipe. It was AMAZING 🤤 I’m going to have to eat this more then once a year 😂. She served it with sticky rice 🍚😋
I’ve made this several times and is one of my absolute favorite & go-to for hotpot. But because most of the ingredients are processed food, we replace them instead. Thank you Seonkyoung!!!
I love this dish. And will make it all the time.

I knew there’s a reason why I enjoy watching your videos! My dad is from 의정부! ^^
I love Korean Army Base stew and so does my husband who is a Solider!!!!! ❤️ might make some tomorrow
I usually put some cabbage and radish sprout to balance out the greasiness of the processed meat. It tastes much lighter :D However, I do eat budae Jjigae only once a year.

Looks like I'll be getting jiggy with the jjigae tonight.

MissMimi that is her husband of 7-8 years
this is legit, followed most of the steps and i ended up recreating the smell and flavor of an old Korean restaurant i used to go to but sadly closed down, thank you very much :D, much nostalgia induced.
Amazing. Another wonderful video :)
Hi. How about include bloopers at the end of your videos. That would be so much fun.
lol that's good idea. I do post those funny moments on my Snapchat while I'm editing! (@theSeon)
I would prob substitute cheese for dropped egg! This is amazing & want to make it after a drunken night :)

Thank you seonkyung for the wonderful video ! I enjoyed your video and your recipe ! It's a must try ^^
Love your show and thank you for sharing.
That is my boyfriend's favorite food. He is American but he likes hot food. Be aware this can be a bit spicy for ya! :D
I always have to cut back on the amour of red pepper flakes. But I'm working up my tolerance lol
I dont know anything about those hot pepper flakes. Its easier for me to tell how hot it will be with hot sauce, so its an okay substitute for the heat
E Winter it is just moderate hot. unless you add jalapeno or other hot stuff !
girl power
she's so funny im crying
That looked amazing and so simple! Thank you! Definitely gonna try it.
Made mine tonight! It was so good and recipe was very easy to follow. Ty ty!! 💕

I've never heard of baked beans going in. is that part of the recipe where you're from?
+Mike Paek all Busan jjigae includes baked beans.
Oh really? I never knew that. Keep it up.
every Budae JJigae has it.
You remind me of IU
It looks wonderful! I can't wait to try it out! Thank you 😊
Finally!!!!!! You're one of the best cooks on KZhead!!!!! Your recipes are sooooo easy to follow! love you
Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️❤️ Love you!! ❤️❤️❤️
What can i put if i dont have a rice wine
You can skip the rice wine!
is it just me or her nails look blue at 3.09 and then when the camera zoom out her nails look yellow??????
Looks amazing.
This looks awesome.
Why are her nails blue when putting ingredients in the pot, and yellow when cutting stuff
Arranging pot scene was off-focus so I had to re-film that part. lol
Seonkyoung Longest Makes sense
instead of American cheese can I add Mozzarella cheese? I really don't like american cheese
+LovelyPeach? Yes you can!
You can also use shredded or crumbled Velveeta, which the oldest recipes actually from the Korean War used. That's the way my ex liked making it. :)
This soup looks delicious!! . Thank you for the recipe ✨✨
Oh my gosh. She is so bloody adorable.
