    • That's why McDonald's and In-N-Out uses red and yellow in their brand colors. Red for increasing our appetite, and yellow indicates speed (for fast food).

    • It's actually very popular among young Koreans for this exact reason. If you drink too much the night before, go out with your friends the next day to have some of this and half a gallon of water, and you'll be feeling... well, you won't feel as bad as you were.

      @PhycoKrusk@PhycoKrusk4 жыл бұрын
    • This dish actually got its origins because of food shortages in Korea during the Korean war, so Korean natives would go to American army bases to get cheap, processed meats. Then one restaurant owner started making stews with them and that's how this dish got started. So war and famine birthed this.

  • Love this stuff. I work in the semiconductor industry and we often travel to S Korea for work. When at home (in Gloucester, MA) some of us occasionally get together at lunch and prepare budae jigae in a conference room using an electric skillet. Everyone is assigned an ingredient to bring in. I haven't been to Korea in almost six years, looking forward to my next trip. The food is incredible. Cheers.

  • This is the best budae jjigae recipe I have found in like EVER... btw, your recipes are the best because I have found I don’t have to follow them exactly, they are very flexible and allow me to change some ingredients if I don’t have what you are suggesting. This is proof you have the best recipes because other ones taste bad if you change the smallest thing in them! Keep up the good work girl!!!
