4 cups of baklava flour (480gr)

  • Parotta is what this is called in South India. Originated in Ceylon. The Tuticorin port workers introduced it to South India at some point. This recipe is very popular in Tamilnadu and Kerala. There are many varieties like Bun parotta, Veechu parotta, Nool parotta, Ceylon parotta, Malabar parotta, Mutta parotta, Kothu parotta, Coin parotta etc.

  • Patna, India A similar version of this is called Lachchha paratha in North India. I tried it sometimes but mine never had so many layers...I never knew there was this method as well... will try this. Thank you😊

    • These are not layers ,,, these are strings ❗❗❗❗ This is not practical to use as a bread . If it was layers , then it is OK,,, but this one is too STRINGY.
