I'm 58, when you love good music, you never get old. In fact, it gets better. You have more tunes from the decades to have a certain appreciation. You can see a flash in the pan from miles away, have fun with it for a minute. This girl's no flash in the pan.

I'm so glad Billie has her brother and parents always by her side as she finds her way through her sudden stardom and all its pluses and minuses. I'm 65 and consider myself pretty much an "old school" music guy. I first saw Billie on "Austin City Limits" and didn't give her a chance. I turned the channel. Very recently I heard her sing, I really heard her voice and couldn't stop listening to her. So many young singers these days are propped up by that "auto tune" technology. I think that's her real voice. Coupled with her brother Finneas, their song composition is amazing. I'm now a big fan.

People under estimate how hard it is to sing like billie - the breathiness / breath control / high notes all combined it's not easy to manage.
Its incredibly INCREDIBLY hard. Harder than belting notes in my opinion...with my experience in my voice anyway.

This may sound strange or dumb to most, but I lost my senior cat just before I discovered this song. When I heard this song when searching for anything relating to loss, this performance appeared and curiously, I listened to it. Would it surprise you that this song hit home with me? My cat crawled his way to me just before he died, and he scratched my bathroom door because he was too weak to push the door open and waltz his way in as he normally did. I opened the door to see him lying on the floor as if to say "I'm here, but I can't go any further." I laid next to him for the rest of Thanksgiving and poured my love into him until he passed away that night.

Didn’t know he was her brother either, but he genuinely desires for her to be known and loved, and because of that, he gets plenty of recognition, and he doesn’t desire it except through her. Yes, bc he knew how talent she had … he said for many years he had tried to be seen with his band but without success, he was afraid that his career was over but then thanks to her, he was able to dedicate his life totally to music .. and the best thing that could happen to him is with his sister. She as well as many talents, a visionary as an artist. She can do everything… these siblings amazing.
