Attorney Rod Ponton unintentionally went viral after he had trouble turning off a filter that made him appear to be a talking kitten during a virtual courtroom appearance. Joining TODAY live, Ponton says, “I got as big a laugh out of it as everybody else.”

The judge there has been in office since 2012 in that District Court, he ran unopposed in his first election. IN FACT iys so important to the news that Judge Ferguson is going to be reconsidering going a different way than Zoom moving forward because we can't have this happen again. He's also issued a statement prior to that to be ultra secure that IF you have children that use your computer~that it's up to you to lock it down so these things don't happen again. So IDK what you do all day with your little self or what you think you know "big brains" but trust me; you're clueless. I've studied Paralegal in college and I'm an international prisoner advocate for over OVER 35 years. I deal with every level of the system from my juveys to my folks on Death Row.     • Absolutely! Until cat lawyer happened, my favorite was that person who got stuck as a potato on zoom, and had to go through the whole meeting that way.🤭 That was funny, but this was hilarious! It keeps popping up in my mind and making me laugh. It's eyes looking around the screen trying to figure out how to turn the filter off, made me giggle, but when he felt the need to say "I'm not a cat", as if the judge wasn't completely convinced, absolutely killed me! I literally had tears running down my face and my sides hurt from laughing so hard. Being that I'm a nurse on a covid unit, this video is 100% pure gold for me! Anytime I need a little pick me up, I know cat lawyer will be there to keep me going! I love it! It's little kitty lips moving along with the lawyer's words was the cutest thing ever...I can't get enough of it! 👍💜
