Thanks for uploading this evergreen marching song from my homeland. This march isn´t forbidden and even nowadays Bundeswehr soldiers sing this song at their marches.
It's sad that disclaimers like this are needed nowadays, for what should be very simply put, a military song.
Its sad cuz the song was written before the nazi regime and still apparently sung by the german military. Yet all is associated with is hitler
Why are you acting like it's a bad thing?!
thanks for uploading :)
What a beautiful German girl. ❤❤❤❤
This song isn't related to the Nazis, it came out in 1930, 3 years before they took control (1933). This song was a Wehrmacht march song for the Weimar Republic.
Hear! Hear! Not everything German is nazi. People need to learn to tell the difference.
agree@@thepeskytraveller3870
And pls. If it´s Weima Republics it´s not Wehrmacht. It´s Reichswehr at that time.
Reichswehr!
Oh, well that’s good to know
No matter what you think of the war this is a great song of a soldier missing his lovely wife
Not only that. Erika is also the name of a low-growing evergreen shrub that is very comon in the forest. The common Heather (Erica Caluna). That is the reason why in the song it is surounded by bees.
ah yes! German beer and beautiful german women!
I cant get enough of this song! Its sounds to catchy and powerful! Idk why it just does
I've heared many beautifull versions of this, but this might be the best.
Schönes Lied, meine Oma hat es gern gehört, weil sie „Erika“ hieß. Grüße aus Oberschlesien
An italian here: what a great song! A girl, a flower and love.
Wow, the lyrics of a beautiful love song molded to the music tune of the best military march! Truly, only the Germans could do that.
It's in their DNA. No wonder the Fatherland produced geniuses like Back, Haydn, Beethoven, etc.
@@michaelwalter3399all of the axis had good songs tbf
@@giulianopisciottano8302 fr, bella ciao is a fucking banger
Try listening to Soviet military marches. They sound a lot like this one.
Only the Germans can do it.
Sounds more beautiful than most other versions out there!
Fun fact: the first girl is wearing a WH captain's formal dress tunic with a silver wound badge and an Iron Cross 1st and 2nd class. They didn't give those for nothing in the German Army, so she's a real war dog. Second fun fact: women weren't allowed in the regular army then, so not only she would never be entitled to this rank, those medals, but even wearing this uniform irl. A certain Austrian aquarelist had different ideas for women and so they were all banned.
Au contraire 4 1/2 million iron cross 2nd class were handed out amongst 18 million that serve for Germany, that is 1 in 4 and hardly rare. 40 odd German ***women*** were awarded the iron cross
I always loved this song, and now I love it even more now that I know that lyrics. Great job!! 👍
Beautiful but sad. So much tragic loss.
Wunderschöne deutsche Marschmusik. Erika liebt Deutschland, und wir auch.
beautiful german military march song
Best version!
By a gentleman who wrote under the name of Herms Niel. He wrote marschlieder comprising beautiful lyrics.
Erika, my daughter's name.
What I see is a beautiful young patriot....she answered that call from her fatherland and besides the affiliates of government she rose to defend her country against the invaders....AND THAT IMHO IS WHAT ANY SOLDIER HAS TO DO EVEN AT THE COST OF LIFE FOR THEIR COUNTRIES
J'adore cette marche ! Ma fille s'appelle Erika..et merci pour la vidéo avec ces magnifiques femmes allemandes ..
Deutsche frauen ♥️ 🇩🇪
Beautiful song, but you know what's more beautiful? ... That Angel of a woman at the start, and lord that uniform!
Women in military uniforms are hearthbreaking
@@AlexanderLittlebearstry anything stupid with them and they really take your breath away....💀💀
The one at the beginning looks like a model. The young girl and her friends at 1.45 are facing death. ...They look like the kids in the movie 'Fury".
Best version
From a German🇩🇪 / American aus Munich. Vunderba! 🥨😁🍺 🎶🎵 🎶🎵
Wait we naming flowers, bees, and soldiers?
Soldiers have names
There were no women in uniform at that time. Erika is a girl, that is loved.
A cute blond girl??
What about snipers? The Soviets had women in uniform such as Lyudmila, a Ukrainian sniper. She was cool.
No soldiers, it's the romance song.
Hermosa cancion Hasta ahora es la mejor version que e escuchado
What 3 beautiful natural German girls! 🇩🇪
Holy fuck! This is the best version! It’s like all of the others I have heard rolled into one!
The flower does bloom, Erika! Greetings from your British cousins 🇩🇪🤝🇬🇧🍻
Grüsse zurück❤
Немецкие военные марши - это бесконечный восторг!
Dank for this tune 👌 🙌
This song is awesome. I just love it.❤❤
Gruß aus Rumänien 🇷🇴 !
This makes me want to join in the song
Yes, that's the point . . .
Only music is important here,no war's,no ideology..no politic's nothing..only music..
A wonderful tune and there is nothing at all offensive in the lyrics which are all about love and separation. The young lady in the photographs is absolutely beautiful, although I might question her dress sense.
It's just a love song for soldiers. What do you think how much Soldiers listened to "Unter der Laterne - Lili Marleen" They listened to it nearly all over the world.
*Greatest song lyrics indeed!* 👍🏻
Hermosa marcha, como solo los alemanes pueden hacerlo: marcial, vibrante y patriótica. Tan hermosa como sus bellas mujeres.
Best version, just the best
Great video, I haven't heard this version before! I'm curious, where did you find the 2nd photo? It looks from WWII.
Yes it is from WWII
@ComradeBoris_17 I thought so, looks like a rare photo too!
@@ComradeBoris_17 Is the first pic also from ww2?
The map of Germany should have been slightly moved per each occasion, to do not overlap with the faces of the beautiful girls.
fantastic !
Красивый доечен-марш про девушек и про цветы!
Good versión. 👊😎 I don't know why but this reminds me of ERIKA from Girls und PANZER. 😁
Their "Panzerlied" version is an absolute banger.
Erika is the not official song of Kuro After Maho transfert . Erika .
ERIKA
The tune needs to be updated to contemporary. Why hasn't anyone done it yet!
I love this song and thanks for english trans. The other song is Lille Marline by Lale Anderson
Beautiful song❤
What is the name of this beautiful girl in the first image
Fantastisch
i love this song
theres a channel that uploaded the instrumental version of this version of erika
I love This Song!
this is yet the most greatest version of the song ever.
Finally something to fight for.
why does Captain Erika wear a EK I and a Verwundetenabzeichen ? what did she have to go through to earn them ?
Прекрасный марш. Вдохновляющий.
This is the kind of music they should play in German clubs.
Wer ist die frau auf dem bild?
Super musika. Danke schön. Grüße.❤
My Deutsches waifus!
Beautifull song
This Song is so Legend 😂❤
"Erica tetralix" is the botanic name of the heather, "Heide" in german.
I like the song. I like the post.
❤🇩🇪💪
Chi e' la ragazza della foto in divisa all'inizio del video? E' carina❤
Eva Braun.. idk
The current uniforms of the German Wehrmacht are still very similar to those of World War II in gray, except that the hats are all berets.(Except for field uniforms)
_"The current uniforms of the German Wehrmacht"_ --- There is no current Wehrmacht. The contemporary "German" army is named Bundeswehr and it is not more than an an auxiliary force for NATO/USA
0:36 who is that girl? shes beautiful! link to the original photo would be nice
I can Hear the drums now 🥁!
Muzyka fajna, ale źle się kojarzy!
The flower called Erica in German is called Heather in English .
Wir nennen es auch noch Heidekraut.
Quite Brilliant and what a fine marching song! ....A Brit.
The girl looks like Ella Freya
Wunderbar!
Erika is Heather in english or am I wrong ?
bruh its lyrics isnt abt Nazis, it's beautiful, both lyric and melody r beautiful, nothing is Nazis in it
I have a question:the first photo is from ww2 or it's from a movie,but i think it's from a movie because it's soo good quality for the 40s
Sounds like they're trying to make a German version of the Russian Katyushka
Another one I love dearly!
It is my German blood that makes me love this
Nope, it's simply a damn good song that anybody can love.
This song is not a military march neither a ideological song.
Where can i get the picture of the first girl my friend?
Search Prussica Imperatrix
📸📸📸📸📸
this version should've gain popularity not the boring GuP version
Deutschland 👍👍👍🇩🇪
Prussia's Gloria was always a good marching song...even the Chiliean's today carry on the Prussian tradition of their early military training....seems I get dinged when I try to repost a YT vid....look up title, "Chile Military Parade - Wehrmacht Style Uniform Compilation-Gran Parada Militar de Chile (Full HD)"
Great song.
Wonderfull germany girl
Все немки в видео очень красивые.
The girl in the cover has a beautiful uniform
Cette chanson est devenue un classique de la Legion Étrangère ! Un peu comme Lili Marlène...
i recognize that 1st image could you please send the source my hard drive has been corrupted since then
her name is Prussica Imperatrix
Erika was originally a folk song I believe
It still is
This one goes out to all the beautiful Erica's out there I want to make my Fräulein.
Greetings from Romania 🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴
Love the song and that Woman is beautiful in that uniform
She was very beautiful and looks amazing in her uniform 😍 ❤️
They should have included the blond BDM girl who helped man the antiaircraft artillery during the Battle of Berlin in "Der Untergang".
Hmm, Comrade Boris, if you show us a girl with a German Wehrmachtsuniform, including medals, please, place the EKI on the right place of the breast. EKI must be picked below, in the middle of the breast pocket.
Beautiful song loved it showed wehrmacht power only germans can do that such a tender lovely people ❤️🔥💘💖
