Keyword: introduced. Most of these features were INTRODUCED at the end of a season and then playable for the entirety of the next season, as a result. That being said, if you used the skull emoji to emphasize the fact that I said "Hypercharges released in s19," I saw you but come on, I'm technically right! (Shelly's hypercharge was usable on Sep 5 which was s19) I SAID the release dates for that reason!! If an update happened two weeks before a season ended, I included that as “part” of that season. Otherwise there would be stacked updates for seasons especially near December. Thanks for understanding!! I did everything possible to specify WHY something is in the season it’s in. Please focus on my word choice 😅

that may be true but starr road was introduced at the same time as season 16, not earlier.
The worst think by far in season 18 is when the crazy trophy reset happened. It only happened once but you lost so much more trophies for your brawler and it happened every 14 days. Then its was changed after but that was miserable experiance

They should've kept it middle ground it's too long now and it was too short then
I lost 200 trophy (I was 50k at the time 💀)
I was having 23 k trophies And few day later i Have 21 k
you forgot the actual worst change in season 20, the removal of heist, hot zone and bounty which left us with only 4 slots and no game mode or quest variety
But it was added back like 3 weeks later (probably cuz they wanted players to buy chuck🤑🤑)
that lasted like a day
I was just talking about that with my brother. Removing bounty was ok bc by that point that was around the introduction of wipeout (fundamentally more skill-based and polished than bounty). removing my two favorite modes and reducing them to weekend modes was not very great. Heist has been around since forever and Hotzone was around for so long too. Although at that point it was the start of Heist being dominated by a small selection of brawlers so it wasnt that awful

Map maker was the best and worst change in it's season. It allowed for fun minigames, yes but most of the winners were terrible maps

larry and lawrie are broken in heist (mostly in general but more in heist), since the reload star power if you put lawrie on the safe you reload most/all of your ammo immediately

The tier 1 bling reward instead of a skin is actually a good thing in my eyes as it allowed them to make the tier 1 skin for any brawler instead of just for the starter brawlers. That is now obsolete of course since they removed the brawler unlock mechanic after getting a skin for them. But you still have enough to buy the skin that would technically have been part of the brawl pass, last season that was dark clown Sam and the one before it was scorpion willow
The best part about season 17 for me was definitely Mariposa piper (and bling ofc). Grinded out Piper's mastery just because I loved that skin so much.

I love the brawl pass but probably the most disappointing thing that happened to the brawl pass is when the cut off 50%of the rewards because of starr drops I like starr drops but the fact that I finish the brawl pass and get 50 coins every 500 tokens was horrible thankfully the new brawl pass is also nice for f2ps imo

Season 18:Tier one skins were technically removed, but there still was an unofficial tier one skin. This was the skin that was always super rare and could be bought as soon as the season started. And then people could also spend it on a skin they liked if they didn't like the tier 1. So overall it was on ok change.

Personally for Season 7, it’s Lollipop Drop. That thing was B U S T E D on release, pushing an F tier brawler into S tier from A SINGULAR GADGET.

I actually remember Star road coming in season 16 not 15 it was just announced then and masteries didn't come until season 17
Season 19 has it problem that most of the brawllers with gadgets and starpowers that deal demage or heal, were out dated cuz the numbers did not upgrade with the brawllers anymore Happy they changed it :) Gene for example and Sandy suffered a lot with season 19 changes
honestly the removal of brawl boxes is the biggest catastrophe in brawl stars story- the brawl boxes was probably one of the main reasons why i played brawl stars. it was so cool opening a mega box... finding 6 rewards... the last one glowing... and finding a gadget XD. but not only that. the new 3 brawlers they added (charlie, mico and kit) really broke everything. the game was pretty P2W at this point.

Bro wtf? Removing boxes was the best thing they ever did Boxes system firstly was ok (in 2019-2020), but then they kinda changed it. In 2019-2020 this system was only luck based. The more you play, the bigger the chance for brawlers from boxes. Etc I got first *epic* at 7k, and I had a friends that got first legendary at 25k But then they changed it. Luck got extremely increased for starters. Etc players with 2k could not have epic and mithic but they had legendary What's more, this system was awful for advanced players. This worked in this way: You are awful at pushing brawlers? (You can't even get 500?) So you will get new brawlers! You are good at pushing brawlers? (You can get at least 550?) So you won't get any brawlers! What? You still want new brawlers? So buy them in the brawl pass! Seriously, when there was the Ghost Station season I made a huge opening for Buster: all (free) brawl pass boxes, 80 bonus tier big boxes and Omega box. And... I didn't get him. I just got 2 star powers and a gadget. But I finally unblocked him... By buying a brawl pass 🤡 Luckily it was last season before they deleted this trash ❤
I *know* all these features are technically introduced during these seasons but it feels WEIRD talking about Mastery in Mandy's season or Gear Rework in Sam's 😭 Also, worst part on Buzz's season is definitely Hold The Trophy

Nah I hated the time when they added blings. Like now you can get about 2000 blings from full power league (iirc) and you can't even buy anything nice. Before, if I wasn't dreaming, power league could give you 50k star things. And mecha skins like Bo costed 50K. Now mecha skins are 299 gems only which will take 6+ months to collect.

As an Edgar and Fang main ever since their release release I would say yes the Edgapocalypse was awful but it was worth it cause I actually love him :) meanwhile i can totally agree that Fang is the best thing in season 10. I saved my gems to find an actual chromatic i loved and Fang is the chromatic i loved! Till this day im still an Edgar and Fang main ever since their release :3 (Although i quit Brawl Stars in season 12 but come back in season 20 hey i got them back on a new account)
