Oh, i'm not surprised what people dislike otis season so much. Maybe during season 13 a lot of players realized for the first time that brawl stars had become boring (it happened to me), idk.
I don't know I liked season 13, Otis was bad but he got kinda a small rework now he's so strong
It was because there was lack of good updates back then, and so the season was INCREDIBLY dry

I think most of the hate for S13 comes from how it was comparatively small to the past summer updates, and it was around the time in which they said the devs had no plans to rework gears. A lot of people were getting tired of the game
S13 was my fav season
I was actually a fan of the penny rework since before then penny was trash for the longest time but at the same time I already know how penny can be annoying to fight for the rest of the playerbase
Her old gadgets and star powers were such good counters to assassins and they were really fun to use

i kinda feel like season 4 was kinda unappreciated, it brought me a lot of nostalgia and memories, the map maker also give trophies making it broken in a fun way, although the edgar apocalypse was really sh** :)

Also,technically there's still a tier one skin of the Brawl Pass,bc the first weeks if you buy the Brawl Pass and get the blings then in the shop there's the skin that is equal to the tier one In Maisie season the tier one skin was Leopard Max And now in Cordelius season the tier one skin is Wood Spirit Chester The change to blings is better than give to us the tier one skin,bc if you don't like that tier one skin then you can buy a 79 gems skins for free or save the blings for a 149 gems skin
Yeah and also a few tiers after it gives another 1600 bling. So really the brawl pass gives almost 5000 bling. like 4500. That's almost enough for an epic skin that you get to choose instead of random tier 1.
And now also "new tier 1 skins" aren't only for rare and super rare brawlers, but even for legendaries

Personally I think Sam’s season is super underrated, it gave us the (in my opinion) best brawl pass skins and Sam who is one of the most fun Brawlers

I feel like my least favourite season was even season because she was extremely annoying ( probably because I'm a mortis main ), but I can't be the only person that noticed Jimbo said Gray and Chester came out with buster when they actually came out with mandy
They released in december 2022, which was still season 15, since the mandy season started in January
Season 2 is the best season. Surge was really fun to play, the gamemodes were great and the skins were so well made.
Downloaded the game in late 2018, retired during the Rosapocalypse because it was really bad at that time, returned in early season 2 and happily played everyday until season 13 when I started to lose interest again (literally for the first time ever I missed a few daily quests and never got full rewards out of those quests), but thankfully I didn't quit, and now in season 19 I'm still going strong Side note: -My most rewarding season was actually season 9. I got 103 big boxes at the end of the pass -My favorite season was season 12 because that's when I finally have every brawler in the game at the time, and also because of Valkyrie Janet

I don't know how people do like buzz season so much. I literally stop playing for 8 months because of this boring update (boring brawler, boring skins not more cool stuffs added) and i just came to play again at the last week off otis season
As a person who voted, I voted once upon a brawl mainly because when ash killed me SO MANY TIMEs IN THE FIRST WEEK. I lost 100+ trophies ( i had about 10,000 at the time ) everything about ash just made me mad. Overall the season was good with the design if maps, mega, and ninja ash. Thank you for taking the time to read why I don't like once upon a brawl.

No idea why people think Season 13 is the worst. Otis is one of my favorite chromatic, the T70 skin is also one of my favorite skins, and Hunters/Lone Star is one of my favorite modes
Most boring Season they could ever do, No content, The game fell down in that Season so hard. I think the most of the people got bored of Brawl Stars in Season 13. (Me too)

It's kinda unfortunate that season 11 is pretty high in this list. I know that when Eve was released she was waaaayy too broken and not much happened in terms of progression and pushing either ladder or power league, but for me it will always be the most nostalgic season. The biodome themed skins are absolutely beautiful and, surprisingly enough, it was my first time I ever bought a brawl pass cause I wasn't active before (I also unlocked both Squeak and Amber from that!). I simply coudn't resist not buying it because I thought that Eve unique trait was so creative and fun! Even though Janet is my favourite brawler, I still think that s11 is better than s12❤.
If the problem wasn't the pass, the problem was that level 11 was already killing the game.
Yeah, I know. This season wasn't liked because gears weren't fixed since their release and it remained so until season 15, where they halved the amount of gear scrap to buy them and then converted all of those to gold later on. So that's why seasons 11 to 14(except 12, probably because the stuntshow trio is loved by the community) were higher in this list, the game was a bit boring and stale.

My favorite season was probably Splash Park (lol I joined bs in season 6) and I loved the buzz skin and the skins that came as well. Personally I hated the Lola season bc the tier 1 skin was lame as well I don’t like Lola lmao
The reason i dislike season 13: we usually get a lot for a summer update, but here, a bad brawler, ruining a brawler ( as you said) and 1 feature. They also removed siege, which was a good thing. But they also made the PL skins unrelated to the season, which meant we only got 3 deeps ea brawl skins, and i love that theme, so it was a shame we didnt get more!

For some unknown reason, I voted primarily on the atmosphere, map design, and music of that season. This is why I chose Season 9, Brawly Wood, as my least favourite. I would have chosen season 11, the Biodome, as my favourite due to it's jungle-y / Sci-fi 'nature' and atmosphere, along with its music. As my second favourite, it is a tie between season 2, Summer of Monsters, and season 8, Once Upon a Brawl. As my second least favourite I would choose the season that added Edgar, despite this going against my previous statement about how I choose my favourite/least favourite Seasons. I would say which season that was, although I cannot find any info online easily of which season that was. I am assuming, however, it was season 4, the Holiday Getaway.
S13 was really good for me bruh The new concept of silencing was awesome I thought Otis will be balanced in future and they did The Penny remodel was awesome man ! That chaos with penny in hunters mode , that fast motor reaction , that simple barley attack from penny mortar( Lenny) It was chaotic but wholesome for some reason Made a lot of memories during that season 🖤

I loved season 3 It introduced my Favorite brawler colette who changed my life and now i have an obsession getting every single colette skin there is I also adored the menu music that season and Halloween updates are always super good in any game

Wait, so people LIKE Chromatics to be absolutely broken and plague matchmaking??? Otis was only slightly underpowered on release, and was buffed to a fairly decent state. Plus, Hunters was a really cool idea for a game mode, and, in my opinion, a solid solo mode which, with some tweaking, had potential! All of the skins in the update were really good too, the Penny rework was really good, and Deep Sea Brawl is one of the coolest environments imo!
Otis was a bit more than "slightly underpowered", and to me he's one of my least favourite brawlers of all time either way

For me it was Lola's season , it had that stinky environment and bad changes and it came in a bad time of the year but now brawl stars is coming back strong from the downfall it had last year
I started at Season 13 and I got Otis in a free box lol, ended up really liking him for low ladder (also Penny is one of my faves for some reason, hit 750 before taking a hiatus from the game)

I started to play Brawl Stars during Janet's season and imo Janet and Otis had the best seasons visually. Otis wasn't good as a brawler (and it's ruined again with Cordelius around using its super as an accessory) but it became my favorite brawler because of the art style used on its animations. My favorites: 1) Deep Sea (Deep sea skins, Otis, scenarios, animations) 2) Stunt Show (Janet, Bonnie, scenarios, animations) 3) Mistery At The Hub (RT, Detective Gray, Mariposa Piper, season arts) Worst season imo: Enchanted Woods. Cordelius is fun to play, but the season has the worst skins so far and Doug looks out of the context of the game. Last season I spent a lot of gems on skins, now I bought only Unicorn Bonnie. I'm not considering "system" changes like blings and masteries, those are supposed to be there to improve the game not mattering the season.
Deep sea was an awful season. It was boring, a huge let down. A decrease in quality compared to the other seasons prior. The skins were also not the best either. Let’s not be too rash about this season yet either. It could get much better, or the season could get much more boring. I’ve played from season 1 and if we’re going to ignore “system” changes there are a few seasons that stand out Season 6. Really fun and enjoyable season, the chromatic brawler was really fun, the skins were amazing and knockout released, which was originally a temporary game mode until the developers realised its popularity, so they made it a permanent game mode. Season 7. Both brawlers were really fun and not broken. The skins were amazing and to keep it fresh they had 3 new game modes in rotation and present plunder made a return, the maps rotation was also pretty good. Season 2. Although this season had only 1 brawler, surge was easily one of the most fun, broken brawlers on his first release, we had a new gadget every week for 10 brawlers for the whole season. They introduced 10 new tiers and a tier 1 skin. The skins were alright at the time but one of the highlights of the season which I see go unnoticed, is the amazing map pool. It wasn’t anything simple like rockwall brawl, cavern churn, feast and famine and all the other normal maps. But most of the maps were fresh and entertaining with maps like eggshell, Eye of the storm, Will of the wisp, Safety centre and so much more, entertaining maps. They also added rope walls which was at a time where adding new types of walls was something rarely seen, and we first saw it in action of a great map remake. Two thousand lakes.
I wish I had started playing since launch as well.
I’m so mad that cordelius is just a better Otis, his gadget is basically Otis’s super he has faster move speed, does the same amount of damage, and has a broken super.
deep sea brawl was awful i remember quitting and coming back after the season ended also the new season sucks and this mushroom mf is so unbalanced and annoying not to mention the horrible nerfs to pl, cl and brawl pass just to introduce a new rng mechanic that nobody asked for

And about summer seasons, I personally think that this season is a great one ! The theme is different from the others seasons (it’s not a summer theme), we have got many news things added to the game, but there was also too many bugs that has been present and some of then haven’t been fixed yet

Season 13 was honestly the best, the brawl pass, the skins, the brawler, the loading screen, the music, the looks of the maps, and the overall vibes were giving me chills. I didnt have that much time back then but it still gives me chills (also all summer seasons were the best but 13 the best of the best also why the heck season 1 is better than 13!?!?!)
Honestly i remember season 13 being at a point where the old gears became too much of an issue. Much of the community also became disliked due to not hearing much responses from supercell, but it was an alright season

Siege was my favourite mode( it was deleted because some people didn’t know that you needed to hold your bolts for 4 seconds to get them to your tower and were leaving this mode forever)
Season 14 was the season that removed siege actually and also, sprout was released one month before the brawl pass🤓

Season 15 is where I quit for a bit over a year and apparently I even bought the brawl pass too cause I have trash panda penny, but not buster 😅 I rejoined during brawlidays last year
I voted season 3, but in hindsight I think I'd vote for either Brawlywood, which had two awful skins in Bull and Lola and introduced old gears, or the current season with the actual progression nerf that starr drops brought.

Season 10 🐯 was my absolute favourite. But i obviously know and agree why people choose 7 as the best. Also the season 5 is the most underrated season i think. And the other three best seasons were definitely Belle, Ash and Surge's season

I remember playing at season with otis and having fun I think it was my most played season in the brawl pass era. At least now otis is good then he was kinda weak now i love to play him, shark colt was great and pharaotis was nice skin which i still use

I honestly loved season 1 it was so much fun for me to use Gale because he was so bad but so stupidly funny at the same time (and yes I am being fr) and same goes with the Otis season except I thought he was amazing
I'm surprised that Season 2 (surge) got 23 votes. It is one of my most hated seasons if not the most hated. This season was very chessy, mr.p and surge were broken. Surge's teleport gadget and level 4 with the star power was scary. I remember facing mr.p, surge and gale comp every single match especially gem grab. During this season, most people unlocked gale and realised how broken his spring gadget was. People played gale + tanks in heist. Gale's spring gagdets would send tanks flying across the map to the enemy's safe. It was like you would 100% lose if you didn't played gale+tanks in heist and gale+surge+mr.p in other modes.

Evertying you stated is correct except the fact that it was the best season...at that time broken surge was annyoning, but now that i rember it was full of fun.
You forgot to mention showdown+ at season 8 I really loved that mode
All 3 Brawl passes I've bought were Holiday Getaway (the most nostalgic) and Once Upon a Brawl (my favorite) and Mystery at the Bruh (you know I said this on purpose)
