Given how in the comics Peter died before ever having this time with Miles, I really like this story arc. Peter has always been alone as Spider-Man and no one who really understood the things he goes through. The parallel between this Peter and Miles is so close which draws them closer as mentor and student, friends, and as brothers. I hope they continue to keep Peter alive throughout the game series. They have an iconic connection and a really cool collaborative story. Having watched the new PS5 Miles Morales game I enjoy that Peter is there, alive, and helping him become the best version of Spider-Man Miles is able to be.
I know I'm late, but SO MUCH THIS! The dynamic between Peter and Miles is easily my favourite thing about this game. Love big brother Peter. And the best part is that they were close even before Miles got his powers. So you totally get why Peter felt so comfortable revealing his secret. He probably would have anyway eventually.

Im thinking the story is them together and playing as both. Pete training Miles and having to put him in the field when Doc Ock escapes and Harry becomes venom.
That would be possible, they could both have their own storylines, Multiplayer would be cool, (one person being Peter and the other miles) and when playing by yourself you can switch between Miles and Peter in Freeplay. Fingers crossed, guys!
I see them using him as a side character. Maybe one mission, Peter is captured or something and Miles has to suit up to save him. Something like that would be best I think.

@@kellisuzuki8889 It's not because in the opening cutscene he puts the mask on separate. This might not apply to the other "armours" in the game. But for the most part the advanced suit has a seperate mask.

Besides Into the Spider-Verse, I feel this is the best version of Miles Morales we as Spider-Fan's have gotten. In the comics I felt Miles was very poorly written, and was really almost a mere carbon copy of Peter Parker. Also with the notation of everything handed to Miles. This version however he has flaws, He got to know Peter, M.J., and Aunt May on a personal level, Even later on in the Add On story-line with Black Cat, Hammerhead and Silver Sable I really felt that Miles and Peter are really like Brothers. Not only that I really do look forward on how they will move Miles story forward, Along with Peter's too.
I didn't really felt that Miles was a copy of Peter in the comics. He was very different in both personality and origin (like usually had a functional full family). He was unique.....but very bland. I agree with you that the comics should lean into the more-appealing characterization from this game and that film.

No matter what can be said about these scenes, i am sure everyone agrees that this was an incredible good game, it made you want to keep playing. I enjoyed this game more then any other superhero game since the Batman games. The graphics and gameplay were really good and easy to figure out. But most of all the story was so damn good, it was better then most movies. It was good enough that it could have made for a great film.
LOVED this mid-credit scene!!! I hope the sequel has Peter teaching Miles how to use his powers and there’s conflict between them. The potential there is just insanely good!!!

I do also kinda hope that this universe's MJ gains powers similar to Peter's as well, since I think it'd be kinda cool to explore what MJ with the same powers as Peter could do....especially with her existing penchant for getting herself into trouble.

i love how the game portrays Mile's respect for Spider-Man by showing him stacking boxes on top of the table just to quickly shove them away after seeing Spider-Man injured.
I just wish that they made the moment morning impactful when he reveals that hes spiderman. Like there was not real reaction or anything and the game cut. Like dude, Miles practically worshipped Spidey. I just expected him to flip out before the game cut at least.
