"Riding a bike with good friend DC Rainmaker for the week." - Can't wait to cause some trouble! See ya soon!
I don't know. Looking back at the history of when the two of you ride, he doesn't seem to be one in trouble ;-)
Hi Shane, hope ur good mate - if you find out what garmin are doing to the 2t can you do a sort video on it please. I’ve got two, so very interested. Keep up the good work fella. All the best, ally x
Thanks, Shane, always enjoy your news roundup.
Thanks as always Shane. Need to see some sprint races from you and @Dcrainmaker
Good stuff, thanks Shane!
Finger crossed for assioma duo shi pro road 🤞
Yep, waiting off on a PM to see if they update their whole line up.
Can't wait for the Magene review! I bought the PES Base 505 power meter and cranks and they have been brilliant! I probably wouldn't have pulled the trigger if it wasn't for you review! Thanks!
Thanks Shane 👌🏻
Holding off on my purchase of the dual side 4iiii Dura Ace power meter until I have your full report. Thanks!
Keen to see your review on the magene c606.
$1224 usd for the power metre and cranks: dream on !:)
1200 Watts sprit. SOLID!
Looking forward to the deep dive in virtual gears. I'm finding using the small ring and straight chain line is too little for the virtual gears in that riding with low b bot I'm in gear 22 already. Unless it calibrates when you first start riding and need to start that way. 🤷
Nice video Shane as always. For V5 and 4 , what means a little bit longer? Days, weeks or months? Ride on
The releases I'm hoping for at taipei: New Bross Zenith bike/frameset, absolute weapon with some real thought put into the design Ltwoo erx/9 final revision Wheeltop EDS TX official release, been hearing good things about this lately, somebody successfully tested it with a 42t cassete and 55t chainring, shifts almost as good as shimano, weight comparable to 105 di2, 7-13 speed compatible, fully wireless of course, headunit integration, mobile app is a bit finnicky, if only they also had satellite shifters
Would be nice to see virtual shifting in other apps. 😢
Drop C606 review asap pls. It looks like a great deal.
Zwift cog ordered, on expectation, Kickr 5 will get released at zome point zoon. Which will take longer? Delivery to Australia or Firmware update. Money is on USPS delivery, but excited about virtual shifting
Hey Llama, I am really considering an SPD power meter for my cross and mountain bike. Can you speak to the impact of pedal strikes with pedal based power meters? Thanks
Check out peak torques review of the assioma pedal, he addresses that
Thinking of buying the Zwift hub One Shane for virtual shifting. Wondering about the clearance for my aero Ridley Noah Fast. Using an Elite Direto XR at the moment, and its fine, just about though. What do you think?
One for Zwift support, or someone with that exact frame.
@@gplama yeah, i’ll reach out to Zwift jic. Thanks
what did Tacx do? had to be something.
Shane I am having trouble with the zwift updates I just don't get them I still don't have the even have the video in game. Do you think it would be ok to delete zwift and just load it again to fix the problem. I am running zwift on my desk top computer. Thanks for all you do to help with all things cycling.
Shane, have you heard any news from Zwift regarding the broken coffee break feature that seems to have been bugged since last update?
Yep. Sounds like someone broke the coffee machine. 😭
Have the 4iiii Dura Ace Precision 3+ Pro (dual) in my shopping cart, would you recommend keeping the Stages LR gen.3 instead? Only switching to get Apple Find My and to get rid of the blue decals on my crankarms..
I’m not confident with that unit yet. It has days when the data is ok, most days it isn’t. I can’t use it as a baseline at this point. 4iiii have the data and hopefully a response soon.
@@gplama Thanks for the reply, will keep my Stages for now.
I purchased a Tacx Neo 3M on February 5th along with the Network Adapter, almost 3 months later and I still don’t have either of the units.
What country are you in and where did you purchase from?
@@gplama USA I purchased direct from Garmin. I live about 2.5 hours away from the USA Headquarters. I would be super interested in why such a delay. Will stay tuned to the channel for any possible updates. \
magene p505 just ordered here 289 Euro! Can you review Sensah and Wheeltop road electronic offerings in Taipei?
I'm hesitant to review these newer groupsets. When it comes to power meters, smart trainers, and GPS units - A lot of my testing ends up as consulting to companies to fix issues. These groupsets from what I've seen are littered with issues/bugs that they're still ironing out. Wheeltop recently reached out regarding their new road wireless group, but told me pretty much "oh well" when I said I didn't have a frame to install it on. Companies who understand the additional cost/workload will supply a product in a working state.... ie, at least have it installed on a frame. It was pretty clear from this all they wanted was access to my audience for promotion and didn't care too much as to what that actually took on my side of things.
HI Shane, very fair points I feel once sensah ltwoo and wheeltop get these issues fixed they are going to dig into sram and shimano all the best!@@gplama
Hi Shane could you please get 4iiii to release the new dual Apple find my power meter in sram compatible cranks as well? The previous release of the dual power meter was compatible with the FSA K-FORCE which could at least be used on sram group sets. Shimano already have a built in power meter on their newer group sets so I don’t see why they would have an exclusivity deal with them of all people. It really sucks I’ve literally been waiting for this for almost a year now thinking I could use it with sram red
Nice to have air tag integrated into those 4iiii, but why with removable batteries? That makes no sense...., apple air tag with non-removable batteries would be the way to go security wise.....
Dumb question but why would Someone need a second trainer. Like maybe one for home and one for the road if you travel a bit? One for you and one for your partner?
You’re asking the wrong guy. I have about 30 of the damn things. 🤣
@@gplama N+1 IS THE ONLY LOGICAL NUMBER OF TRAINERS ONE NEEDS!
So, you’re saying the company that tried to get you banned from Taipei Cycle Expo was kinda successful? 😂
Hah. Good memory! No. Ryuger Bikes can still go screw themselves for pulling that shit on me. They’ve blocked me on all platforms too. And I’m better for it. They were…. weird. 🤣
It’s funny how things become storylines now when a company isn’t transparent. They should learn.
