‘Good Morning Football’ co-host Peter Schrager and Rich Eisen discuss his brand new NFL Mock draft including what the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots will do with picks #2 and #3, the New York Giants making a bold move to land Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy, the Colts trading up for LSU WR Malik Nabers, if the New York Jets should take Georgia TE Brock Bowers, where Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. and Oregon’s Bo Nix could land, and why the Dallas Cowboys will take speedy Texas Longhorns WR Xavier Worthy instead of addressing their offensive line with their first-round pick.

  • I can't wait to see Richs face when the Chargers trades back instead of drafting a top WR . Harbaugh is no fool. He knows the talent of this draft after competing on the college level. First thing he would want to do is build the depth and core of the team with a mindset similar to his.

    • Yeah. My gut tells me he's thinking about building, of course, so any one player would have to drop lots for that to outweigh that theme. He has guys he wants later too, and two of "his guys" will be better than the one.

  • There’s 0% chance the Bears take a CB. Absolutely no shot. They’ve invested heavily in the DBs and they all played really well in the last half of the season. Bears are going WR, edge or OL. Those are the only positions they will consider

  • Schrager, how do you think a receiver who weighs 160lbs at the combine, is a first round talent? Is he going to gain 30lb and retain his speed before the start of the regular season?? No? Alright, that’s why he’s not a first rounder. No 145lb receiver is going to survive the NFL just by being fast. You need some kind of size still. You don’t have to be a megatron or Julio, but D Smitty makes worthy look tiny and Smitty is already undersized himself. And nothing about Worthy’s game is even remotely close to Smitty besides just being faster. Is he just running go routes the whole game just to see if the defense is gonna have a safety back there or what would be the plan?
