    • Lenovo's wave of mega silent firings in early 2023 were absolutely despicable. They laid off thousands of really great people after posting record profits and bragging about moving up the Forbes list each quarter in their "All Hands" NA org sales meetings to those people that moved the needle for them. They ruined thousands of people's lives who relocated and rented or purchased new homes just to join the US sales organization during the digital boom of the pandemic and increase in business for them, forcing them to lose their homes and become homeless. Their warranty process is atrocious and considered terrible by anyone who has had to deal with service claims on top of this.

  • I have the legion pro 7i with the rtx 4080, its really perfect tbh. Got a cooling pad and i never thermal throttle, and i tend to run the games what i need, not what max settings it can get, but it definitely plays everything more than perfectly. Only note is that battery life is awful as expected, but oh well, wont be doing much off-battery work on it and it gets like 2-3 hours reliably on a full charge so yeah.

    • I’m on a budget so I’m willing to pay more for a premium laptop that will last me at least 3-4 years… especially if you rely on having by a good laptop for work or school.. it’s called making an investment.. if you buy crap, you get crap that you keep having to replace or get repaired.. that adds up fast.

  • I love this channel. Not sure if you can check when i sub'd, but I did so when you were under 200k, so i've been in for the long haul. I understand you've had to make some changes due to the current reality of KZhead, and you have a tremendous staff that you need to pay. I just want to say, there are too many Lenovo sponsorships lately. Of course I trust this channel, but when you are so, so, so deeply invested with a company like this, it creates difficulty for us viewers when you make laptop reviews from other OEMs, particularly when those reviews are critical. Anyway, just wanted to point this out, and i hope this comment doesn't sound disrespectful.

  • Doesn't break the bank? I'm not sure how big YOUR bank account is, but it most definitely breaks mine at a STARTING price of £1,969!! I dunno why I'm surprised at that price tag though, seems like everything to do with computing has rocketed in cost over the past five years - what used to get you a top-tier system now barely gets your foot in the door.

  • I wish the 14th gen laptops have the option for using the Intel i9-14900k desktop cpu since it has 125 watts tdp compared to the 250 tdp on a mobile cpu while the desktop cpu is more powerful than the mobile cpu variant of the Intel i9-14900hx.

  • This looks more like a marketing segment than a review...what the hell??? No benchmarks? No FPS in games? No noise test in various scenarios? Battery? It's like an extended version of the Lenovo presentation video with a lot of praise and no data to back it up or compare it with other brands. But who cares right? You got your 5 mil subs, why be completely accurate and impartial when you can make some $ at the expense of few viewers who actually were looking for useful info to decide if this is the right laptop for them or not.
