its funny how the hammer went straigh trough the ceramic one into the screen, like come on dude, you had one job
i was surprised how the ceramic survived the hammer test but the screen it supposed to protect didnt
I started to laugh at the last one.. it didn't do anything hahah.
Yeah, cons of ceramic for smoothness of touch
This is honest to goodness one of the very best comparisons I have ever watched for these 3 types of screen protectors. It has in all honesty opened my eyes to the reality of no matter what you use your phone will still get damaged depending on the force of impact that it will endure. Thanks for this, wonderfully done
Fake.... Don't blabla if you don't know.
The ceramic one doesnt even sacrifice itself to protect the screen💀
Sometimes being extremely strong/rigid isn’t a good thing.
pro tip, its much easier to see scratches when you put them against anything but white background, try black next time
Yeah, thanks for watching
Good test with Interesting results. (They are all good for different reasons) So ultimately it must depend on your personal usage and how lucky you get with the final hit or scratch on the screen. I stick to 9D but I liked the way the hydro gel reacted (or did not react) with the water droplets.
Fantastic comparison!
For me, tempered glass is better than others.. not easy to scratch and more thickness.. better wears than nothing
Im kind of carefulness person, so i'll just choose Hydrogel just for protecting my screen from scratch. Thank you for the review and testing
Thanks for watching
@@URTechzwhich is the most expensive screen
@@victusraitonas of 2023 all cost nearly the same but hydrogel is much cheaper and is sold in packs (2 to 3)
So I have to decide whether I want protection from water drops or permanent scratches? Hmmmm….
great video, i noticed that mostly when i drop my phone, the tempered glass and the case get broken on the left bottom corner, luckily the phone survives everytime, consumed like 3 tempered glass already on it since i bought it. would u suggest that in my case the temepred glass is better than hydrogel or it, or they provide the same protection to the edges ?
i mean, you had good intentions... you just needed: 1: a solid color background (easier to see damage) (with no texture), a better light set, a better camera, better notions of video soundtracks for youtube, better editing skills (specially background music volume vs the volume of the recording). Anyway, good idea and good job, thanks
Ceramic seems like old plastic screen protector just different in thickness. Ceramic just name. I have tried many screen protector. Tempered Glass best opsion for safe the screen Only two option if you want to buy screen protector ; Safe the screen but damage your protector or Damage your screen but safe protector
has otro video más pero aplica *UV Loca Glue TP-2500* deja curar o solificarse por completo en 72 hrs y realiza de nuevo el test para ver su grado de mojoras de resistencia en las 3!!? ✌🏼😉 !!
Pretty good test, I'm using hydrogel now and it's a good experience. It has clarity, it's smooth and stays on securely.
I have it, still nervious about drops though, what's your experience with drops with the hydrogel?
@@eldonmirjah7549 I've used them on and off for many years. Drop experience has been good, as in I haven't had any screen crack under normal while I used a tpu/hydrogel film, but I'm still trying to figure out how it compares to tempered. I have tried tempered a few times and it ends up disappointing me in touch screen sensitivity and how well it adheres to the display. I just stick with tpu films now and I feel no reason after lots of research to switch back to tempered.
@@eldonmirjah7549 pretty scary I would say I have been using tempered glass on my phone and dropped it by accident on a volcanic river that has a lot of sharp rocks in it And luckily my tempered glass was very badly damaged, even the plastic side are gone in some places and the screen are saved scratchless Idk what would happen to my phone if it was a hydrogel
@@warth45 you say glass is better than hydrogel right?
@@AchrafDafouf for drop protection, yes
Test shows all of them will protect your screen from light scratches only. But i need to add, especially for samsung phones about the sensitivity when it comes to bioemetrics. Regular tempered glass won't scan your finger prints.
Yeah, if you really want glass to protect Samsung's ultrasonic reader, instead of the hydrogel/ceramic ones, your only hope is to use a UV glass protector. Those are not 100% comparable to tempered glass because they're really thin, but it does work with the ultrasonic sensor and it's better against scratches than the hydrogel/ceramic
Excelent test 👍
Can you try with nano
Depending on the impact angle, the purpose of the screen protector is to reduce the chances of your phone glass screen being broken too easily when under normal impact. It is still better to have one (but not the Hydrogel type because if it does not break, the impact energy will transfer to the phone screen). Hopefully, the screen protector will break first before your phone screen breaks.
Great test. I'm using 2 hydrogel and 2 tempered glass for my Pixel 5a the breakable phone 🥲
wait what
😂
WHAT?
What
Bro making Nokia 3310 screen protectors💀
There's a better impact test, drop the screens onto asphalt from a pocket or chest height
C'est vrai, c'est quelque chose qui arrive souvent, les amis ! 😅
So the hydrogel and ceramic can still be used on the next phone you buy 😂
This was helpful... thanks!

My anti-scratch is the one in the middle, but I tried to hit it with the lid on the Tuprawwer drinking bottle, it cracked a lot😢
Very informative video, thank you
Thank for watching
This video was most usefull than others videos of "reviews", of course none protector will defend againts a hammer 😂 but that end the myth of hydrogel when they say is most resistant, i agree with you, totally depens on the fall, when my phone falls from my bike depends much more on the case than the screen protector, i work in a workshop and hydrogel has been helpfull but still dont survive one night with my cats haha when tempered glass will be
In Summary Hydrogel: Not Durable but good if you have sweaty hands. T. Glass: Very Durable and can protect your LCD Screen but can leave finger print, scratch, broken glass and has a very bad performance against sweaty fingers. Ceramic: Cannot be shattered but also cannot quite protect the LCD screen from impact, has a very smooth surface that will satisfy gamers. Conclusion: Just get what's best or suits you better.
🧐Tempered glass may break but will it damage display, tpu film is not a glass so it doesn't crack so may display will also not be effected by that🤨. But Tpu Film is good shock absorber but tempered glass is stronger 💪 & because of that should I prefer Tpu film or 0.26mm thickness tempered glass is better than that🤔 .this is my sandheh.🤔 ഓം അമൃതേശ്വരെ നമഃ 🙏🏾 🙏🏿 🙏 🙏🏽 🙏🏼 🕉️
Tks!
thank you
I have a crazy idea, can you try putting an hydrogel protector and then a tempered glass one on top? The tempered glass should absorb and dissipate most of the impact of the hammer, hopefully keeping the screen safe.
Might have problem with the touch screen. But there are options to make your screen more sensitive to touch. For my s23, the normal temprered glass already messes up the biometrics.
I agree, My S22+ wouldn't let me having a fingerprint if I have a Tempered glass on it. haha, to temper!!@@xdeathmatex
possibled but not advised by most, chances are to mess one with another's glue/material and/or touch screen of the phone
I want to protect my s21 ultra against cracking from drops, which is the best ?
It doesn't matter, but for me, i like tempered glass
Ceramic is good or no??
Hello sir please help me I have OnePlus 10 pro there is no tempered glass available only hydrogel and UV glass are available. I heard very negative reviews about UV glass. UV glass are not easy to remove. So please suggest me which option should I go with?
that was unfortunate. I guess hydrogel is the only option to go. at least its better than not having any protector at all.
Thanks

testing with smartphone bro
Why they didnt use fiber glass from bullet proof glass 😂
ima get hydrogel on my s24 plus cause ive heard that with glass and ceramic the fingerprint scanner doesnt work
It does work with the UV glass protector. I have one on my S22 Ultra and can confirm that. Only downside is that the glass is thinner than the tempered glass and to install you need UV glue, which makes a mess and could damage the USB port if not installed correctly.
👍 nice

Is there any difference between Screen protector film and tempered glass...If yes, then which one is the safest? As I want to buy a realme phone, and it comes with a screen protector film...so should I buy another tempered glass...?
Yes there is different. It actually doesn't matter when it come protection from impact, as it will depend on the forces and impact like how it land on uneven surface, like on the edge of display, etc... Using any of these would be better than not using protector at all but still, i would like to use tempered glass.
I like ceramic because it doesn't break easily Save money 🤑
No, it actually transfer the impact to your lcd.
Hydrogel is that friend who leaves you in desperate times
How hard U hit with the hammer! No scientific peoof
I switched from t. Glass to hydrogel and idk if its good or not. I need some help
It's better than not using any protector at all.

Corning gorilla glass isn't strong enough already?. I just asking.
Corning gorilla glass have different version
Stronger than normal glass+more scratch resistant, but glass is glass, it can still break
@@URTechzwhat's your thoughts on a shatterproof display?
I am surprised how the ceramic seems to be plastic
Yeah, different version of ceramic film
So basically its all useless in the end. Just a case and good hands is all we need then.
For me, tempered glass is better than others.. not easy to scratch and more thickness.. better wears than nothing
somethings wrong with this ceramic? ceramic hardness starts at 8 mohs units, which is much much higher than the hardness of your razorblade
lol this ceramic trolling the world
so who is the best?
It actually doesn't matter when it come protection from impact, as it will depend on the forces and impact like how it land on uneven surface, etc. Using any of these would be better than not using protector at all but still, i would like to use tempered glass.
Is hydrogel the same as plastic?
Not same
All 3 fail.
everything's faiuled . that's why i didn't buy any smartphones
That's proof that actually screen protectors are entirely useless. It could defend your phone from scratch, but it still breaks in the same way as without any shield. No need for that type of product. It's just good marketing.
No you actually have no clue how many times a glass protector has protected my phone rather than none.
The video literaly shows that on first hit, with that power without shield, the screen breaks, and with shield it doesnt break... It breaks with shield on the second hit with much more power... If you throw your phone to a truck passing by it will break too with or without screen and phonecase protection
@@NateHarrell513 exactly!!! it's like a condom... it's better to always use it :)
Your wrong bro. Few days ago i accidentally dropped my phone into ground. I really scared of screen crack. I thought my screen cracked but my screen was fine. It was just my screen protector. It was not normal ground. It was rock.
Use your brain dude. The screen protector is supposed to take the impact and break thereby protecting the actual phone screen
Tempered glas >>>>>>>>>> others
Tempered glass is not good for gaming so sticky unlike ceramic and hydro
@@ksytic5841I Agree, the reason I'm here is I'm trying to find something that isn't sticky at al
@@donleonardestrera6092if you don't want sticky and your hands sweat. Ceramic is the best, at least for me. Hydrogel is great too for sweaty hands, not just smooth to swipe though
