btw, I put on sapphire skates instead of the stock PTFE and the creaking issue i mentioned around 5:15 went away
Why does Vaxee always have bad build quality and creaking issues? I returned 2 non ergos and gave up. These things are $120 in America. 😢

hey boardzy love your videos just wanted to say thanks for the effort you put in during your reviews! theyve been very helpful in the past. i currently own the np01s and glorious o- wireless as they both are on the smallerish size .. i was curious if you would be able to help point out some other mice that are boardzy approved that are similar in size.. more specifically i know the height of the np01s at 39mm feels high to me so im looking for mice smaller than that. the glorious o- is 35mm so basically looking for any recomendations for 39mm or lower please and thankyou!!!
I own the DAV3, Viper V2 Pro, Atlantis OG V2 4k, Viper Mini signature edition, XM2WE and keep grabbing the Vaxee. Right now it's hard to say it isn't my favorite mouse at the moment. We'll see what happens when the LA-1 gets here.
Just got a Orange NP01S Wireless , never used a vaxee and never used a ergo really but the og deathadder, its a combo of ergo and a g pro sorta idk how to explain it , its sick . its pretty comfy.

Looks really good. A lot of people might hate on Vaxee for being slower to the wireless game or even the fact that their weight is a bit on the heavier side... but I personally think they build their mice with the upmost quality. I think I will invest in one for my setup :)

For me, I get hate cause vaxee not as well known. I had the np-01 for a while and love it but i always get a disgusted look from friends asking me if that’s like some Chinese cheapo knockoff 😅

Personally think we should get more mice back up to 60-70g range. Diminishing returns with the lighter mice. Heavier mice are slightly slower to wield, but you typically get more stability and consistency. Better for muscle memory. Been searching for a mouse that made me feel as good as the OG XM1 did.

Nope, no software! One of the main reasons I like Vaxee mice so much. The settings are completely saved on the mouse as far as I've been able to tell. Been using an og NP-01 for 2 years now

To fix the side flex/creak just loosen the screws a bit until it stops.

My XE Wireless had the exact same issue with the click grinding. Was told by support it's normal unfortunately. My NP01-s wireless had side flex + mouse 1 with insane side to side play when held down. Unlucky times!
Same here. Shame that it’s still present on their new release. The grinding was the worst I’ve ever felt on any mouse. No idea how the clicks got praised so universally.

So, I just bought one and I can confirm after shipping and tax it is a +$140 mouse. Definitely expensive but I hope it's worth it. I don't want to end up buying the NP-01 if this one is too small. Got it in the blue colorway. I was maining a Viper V2 pro but then I switched to the End Game Gear XM2we and I love it. But this one has been calling my name for some odd reason. I've spent too much money on mice these past few months. But fuck it. lol

I picked up the XE wireless recently and its amazing. Im eagerly waiting for the NP-01S to come back in stock so i can grab one of them too.
My np 01s version does not have that grinding issue, i have been using it since release of the mouse

In the last year or so I've realised Ergo is is underrated - IN MY personal opinion even for performance players, despite RJN and I appreciate his logical approach but I don't agree with him in this instance - and let's not forget the time that MX5XX and Explorer 3.0 (with 500-1000hz O/C) were being used to SLAM, by legit top players. Oddly, of all things... I am currently maining the Kone Pro Air - my tips to Roccat have been move the sensor back 0.3-0.5cm for a slightly less aggressive wrist pivot distance (room for error), it's also a touch back heavy due to possibly where grip is 'encouraged' (not really forced though) and drop 8-10 g weight. Kone Pro Air is SO VERY underrated due to the SEA of 'AMBI'. I also remember boardzy doesn't like the main clicks which is fair enough, they are just fine for me though. If Roccat bring it up to date, with most importance being in the weight, this is an Endgame Ergo - no pun. Kone pro air scroll wheel is horrific, though.

KPA is the best shape I've ever used tbh.
Ergo shapes have a unmatched stability and you really dont get it anywhere else. If you stick with a ergo for 3 weeks you will understand what i mean. Its amazing. Other mice give more mobility but the stability cost is too great. If there was a mouse that combined the stability of ergo and mobility of smaller mice that would be the true end game.

Ambi for sure. M1 and M2 are flat/same height, not sloped, and for me that is the most noticable in hand between the two styles. However if the reason why you prefer an egro over an ambi is the curve inward on the left side to lock in your thumb, this has that same feel to it, so you would like it
