Watching these videos makes me want to become a diesel Mechanic. This knowledge could build a country, literally.
Its an incredible work yeah, but as long as you know the basics its the same for all machines
Yes I love these work
I'd love to see you and Matt from Diesel Creek collaborate on this machine, that would make a great video or two. I enjoyed this one a lot .
Please God make this happen
A Great project for Matts new shop! Help him get that overhead gantry up!

Would be a great collaboration.
Wow ! Chris, you and Andrew together will be unstoppable in anything you work on or troubleshoot !! Hell yea.
CROSSOVERS, epic@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes! I'd love to see you team with the D7 guy to fix this little lost soul.
Andrew is a good friend to have
This 70 year old lady is quite interested what happens to this Cat!My dad had his own timber business. I started out as a 3 year old running the winch line to pick up and move the logs! It was attached like this winch line. So glad I came across your channel!👍👍
The padlock you cut off was a Corbin out of New Britain CT. The keys had a long alpha-numeric code number. I saw Dad using them in 1970-72 to lock the fuel caps on the tanks of the construction equipment. Vandals loved to pour sand and dirt in the tanks. This was while the eastern link of I-95 was being built around Washington DC.
2 great mechanical minds together, I'm not surprised you delivered interesting content here.

You know I grew up in a small town my father had a lot of oil junkers and clunkers and stuff we he'd buy for $50 and $100 here and there bring them home some we'd fix them some I'd jump in them driving in the woods to the kid and leave them some got buried some got burnt we had a great old time I love your show brings back memories
That was a long sentence...
Count me in as a enthusiastic YES! on the CAT collab. I like the way you approach things - if it runs, it deserves every chance at a new life. That compound is spectacular! Great episode!!!
GOO LOO JUMPERS ARE JUNK GOT A BIGGER AMP JUMPER 3000AMP PLUS
😢 I was really looking forward to you guys restoring it!
You know its going to be a good day when NNKH posts a new video.
love the collaboration with Andrew. my two favorite youtubers
The fact that you successfully resurrected this 37 long years, overgrown with shrubbery, abandoned behemoth is already so unbelievable! You sir are a mechanic who deserves to be celebrated worldwide! ❤❤❤❤❤
Love the video! And I’m really glad it’s not in our backyard lol. That thing is huge!
love the channel thank you ! say hi to Gus!
977 was the first machine I learned to operate . That's great your saving it . The one I learned on was a 1947. , pony motor start
Amazing colab never thought I’d see this machine again. MATT WOULD BE AMAZING ON THIS. let’s leave comments on his videos for this colab.
Amazing that the motor wasn’t locked up! Awesome job getting it running and moving!
I know I'm a year late.. RESPECT Sir you are the master.... Amazing to see that running again while I've yet to check whats going on with it now.. saving it from scap is a win in my book, well done!
Chris, zero disappointment in any of your videos. Keep doing what you're doing. Really like your style. Re: people calling the defunct towing company, JFC some people are stupid.
Thanks so much man, really hoped to get more work done in this one but you know how it goes sometimes. And yeah, I don't know why people would be calling the number. Lol
Fair play nice to see a machine saved instead of broken up
A couple of guys, a couple of dogs and a big old toy to fix on beautiful summer day. Pretty sweet.
Have sent a gentle hint to our mutual friend at Diesel Creek to help the Cat Purr - hope it comes off would be fantastic to watch the old girl come back to us all
Sweet two of my fav u tubers!!!
Gotta love it when two of my favourite KZhead channels get together.
Excellent video I'm glad you kept it from being cut up and it would be nice to see you and Matt do a get together thank you for sharing this two thumbs up
bringing in Matt is an awesome idea!!!
I have watched Andrew for years. He is the one man army. I just started watching your channel this past week and it is so fitting the two of you team up.
It is a cool machine. Nice to see two great mechanics working together like that.
Thank you. We know times are not E-Z, please keep this going, it's a great series!!
You are truly amazing to watch. Love watching you do magic.
I love to see the restoration of this machine.
Would be great to see yourself, Andrew & Matt working together on the Cat or something simular. Enjoy all yours videos so much. 👍🤘
What a treat. Two titans working together. I love it.
It is really satifying to see the older machines come back to life. Cannot wait to see what ultimately happens to this machine.
Nice way to start my Saturday morning..thanks guys..
Hey man. It's your machine. Do what you want with it. I watch your videos for the process. I like that you are realistic about what the end results are. Makes your content relatable.
Same
I'm amazed how well the engine runs after all these years.
No, no disapointment Chris, you got it running and alot of people including myself got to enjoy the videos.
you are def more capable than some of the others I've seen helping andrew
Huge respect to saving the CAT, and yes to collab with diesel creek. Team up on saving old equipment ? or make ultra progress together on one of your shop setups / vehicles ?
My 2 favorite you tubers in one video! Can’t ask for a better Saturday!
I like the real view you present. Not everything is great and perfect, there are hiccups. Fun to see these out machines get another chance. Keep up the good work. Wonder if today's new machine will be able to start like this one in 50 years.
This was awesome. Though cars are my life, I do love heavy equipment. I operated a Cat 416 back in the 80s!
Nice job Chris. I was thinking of Andrew from your first video of the CAT. I have been following Andrew for several years. Excellent idea getting KZheadrs together. You seem to be one of the few that do collaborating. Keep up the great work.
Always a good day when NNKH uploads
We used to use 5500 psi pressure washers with hotsies that slid out of the side of a sprinter. They were bad ass. Made by Honda. Built like tanks. Took years of abuse daily pressure washing kitchen exhaust systems sometimes for hours on end. Just rebuild the pumps every now and then. Never had an issue with the burners/hotsies. But we would have to replace hoses. They would get bubbles eventually.
Really enjoyed this video and your enthusiasm for old machines that can still work. Thanks and keep it up.
Its so funny, you guys are one big family! Every KZheadr I follow, has mentions of each other, mostly all that I have followed for a long time. All provide great content and entertainment. Another great vid Chris!!
I agree! Let's see you Andrew & Matt team up and get the CAT 977 running & lookin good.
That Chrysler Marine shirt is awesome. I live on an old 1980's aluminum Marinette cruiser with twin 318's. They are beasts.
hi I am from the uk, this is the first video that I have watched, it wasn't a disappointment, the fact that you saved a machine from the breakers is worth watching. carry on the good work, a collaboration with matt at diesel creek would be excellent
Man that thing sounds good, love that deep grunting bark of the old diesels
I for one would love to see you and whoever collaborate and get that machine in use.
Andrew has still got what may be the coolest shop I've seen. It's like half man cave /hangout and half industrial shop.
good machine with some work! Andrew is a good guy.. he knows his equipment . I think you guys made the right decision on your project!
Loved it, and the drone shot at the end. Now I have to go see what a container castle looks like.
You two guys should get together more often, I think it would be a huge hit .. Love seeing you two guys working together, awesome
Andrew is terrible did you see him kicking his dogs?
@@joshuasprinkles3490 yeah terrible, he should drive over them with his electric scooter that is much better..................🤔😑🥱
My two favorite channels combined. Excellent!
Man that's awesome that you and your friends have the knowledge to even get that running is amazing, awesome video, just awesome..!
I operated a Cat 977 in the late 80's, still had the pup start.
PB Blaster is really good stuff when it comes to seized metal parts, especially since it leaves a protection film to help prevent future headaches with regular maintenance applications.
I’m by no means am I a heavy equipment mechanic, businessman, etc….But I think this one is worth more in parts and scrap than fixing up. I’ve done cars for 30yrs. It’s kinda the same thing. Some things reach a point where the good parts and scrap are worth more than the whole. But you guys will determine that👍🙂 Great video, love learning new things from you guys. Much love and respect my friends 👍🙂
2 of my favorite KZhead creators. What a wonderful gift on a Saturday morning
Yes! Would love to see a three way collaboration. Let’s go for it fellas. This is going to be perfect content.
Dear brother Matt. and Andrew. The machine that you revived is really an absurd job. May God bless your untiring effort. .
Good to have friends man. Not too many of us have friends like Camerata (why does my phone want to correct the spelling on Camarata's name?). You are blessed in many ways. I appreciate you
It tries to correct spelling but the problem is when you want to spill something that's spelled different the stupid machine can't recognize that I've had that happen on my phone lots of times you got to go into your settings and turn off spelling correction.
@@davidroberson8030 the irony of 'spill' 😄
Amen.
That diesel sounds so sweet despite sitting unused and exposed to the elements for so many years
Blue trying to eat the trailer lol love it
Great video regardless of the ending! Always on point! Blessings and respect!
Congratulations to the new owner Dumpster Dave
Man, they don't make them like they used to. I know that's cliché, but it's oh so very true. I bet the winch on that thing could pull the Moon out of orbit, and stop the rotation of the Earth. I love these old solid iron tanks, damn near can't kill them. Just raw, brute, unchained strength and force! Andrew is my favorite content creator, and you're right there behind him now that I have found your channel. Awesome video! Can't wait to watch more of your content.
Or pull a UFO or two outa the woods.....got any sightings out there lately in NY?
Good to see you Fella
Great team! I’m loving this.
I cannot believe it !! Two of my favorite channels together. Tell Jen hi.
I do enjoy these types of videos the most, hope you get the chance to do more even though your other stuff is good too!
One of my favorites Chris! And I also enjoy Matt's and Andrew's channel. Found them before I found you. I really like when different youtube channels do a combo show. It seems like a great community good fun. Miss seeing the lovely Ms Jenn and sassy face Gus. Take care and keep them coming please. Can't wait to see what the next adventure brings.
My two favorite KZheadrs working together! How freakin' AWESOME! Y'all need to start a separate channel. Working with Matt would even be MORE AWESOME!! WOW!!!
All though it would be nice to see it finished, you have to make the conscience decision to move it along to the next guy. Just getting it back operating was a big feat and you should be proud!!! Keep doing what you do!! I think Gus needs a 70's van to roll around in!!!
I’ll Hit Matt, He’s a Great Fella. That would be Awesome, appreciate you having us Along. Keep It Safe Out There Brother
Thanks David!
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow I appreciate what you do, from down in South Central Pa., My Best to the Mrs. of Course!
Great collaboration Chris, Andrew is a favorite, Matt is great as well.
Aaaahh Chris when you were pressure washing the back of the Cat I swore you were going to spray a NNKH clean before you blew it off, or s 'subscribe' in the dirt!! Great video brother thanks man!!
You and Andrew are the fix anything Dream-team!
I remember watching this Cat977 roll up on Andrew's property some time back. Never thought i'd see how and where it came from. Any friend of Andrew is a friend of mine. I just watched part on and part two. Subscribed.
Hey Man... haven't seen your stuff for a while, but I gotta say on this one... unbelievable!! Insane level of skill and BP (blunt perseverance). Well done and good luck!
He’s one of the best all around mechanics he’s got the knowledge and the know how too do just about any project …
05:26 Gotta love that blue eyed doggy! 😁
Dude if the three of you guys (You, Matt from Diesel Creek, and Andrew Camarata) all got together for a collab that would be sick. Would be a great way to get new viewers to all your channels.
Good idea..TOP GEAR PRESENTERS..
It'll be amazing to see you guys over there working together as a team
Yeah, would like to see Matt and Andrew fix that 977 Cat Track Loader, that would be Awesome.
Great to see you know Andrew. He is one of my favourite You Tubers.
Nice job calling out Matt. That'd be awesome
Wow,Nice how it works and many other heavy equipment
You are amazing guys

thanks so much for trying to go foward with this bull doszoer
I love it please continue to keep it up and show us the way you do it
Finally! I have been waiting for this episode!!
I just got one myself in about the same shape. It would be great to see it brought back to a usable condition.
Awesome work on this rescue!!! Keep the videos coming!!!
