Excellent video, thanks very much. Is bonding coat ok to use on blockwork though? I thought it needed to be hardwall for high suctions materials? About to tackle a similar repair myself.

Great vid What can I use on a damp cellar brickwork is visible and mouldy
This is a bit out of comfort zone but you'd need to look into preventing the damp from penetrating the room first, such as tanking. You'd also need specialist plasterboard for damp environments, such as is used in bathrooms. I would consult with a specialist before any work in a cellar/basement though. Hope this helps
