    • @@mollkatless I only said, he was doing good in early rounds, and catched Floyd couple of times, BUT yes he is gased, but not just because he didn't train well, u need experience in boxing to not being gased out early, you need to manage your power. It comes with experience, HOWEVER he is built like that too... Twitch fiber muscles, etc... He is just very good in the short run anyway... BUT it is not just about lazyness

  • Connor looked more like a boxer in this fight than a lot of boxers. He just wasn’t ready for Floyd to rain down on him in the final rounds. That’s the difference in an all time great boxer - same power and energy in the last round as they have in the first. This was an incredible fight!

The only thing these two sports have in common is that it involves hitting your opponent. He couldn't stay on his feet for multiple rounds if it was an mma fight. It didn't look good that he couldn't finish a non-boxer, and in fact got hit more than he generally did by boxers.

  • I remember watching this live at my barbershop. I think Mcgregor did great considering the fatigue and I think Mayweather’s strategy was perfect. He dragged it out knowing time was the enemy’s weakness and then he came to life.

  • Floyde possivelmente ganhava a luta mais cedo, mas respeitou (ou temeu) o seu adversário, que por acaso é muito bom e lutou muito bem. A estratégia do Floyd foi muito boa, cansou o Conor, e no final fez a festa. Até endendo que o Conor previa resolver a luta muito cedo, antevendo a possibilidade de não aguentar uma luta com tantos rounds usando somente os braços. Por outro, há que reconhecer, que o Conor esteve ao nivel de vários lutadores que disputaram o ring com o Floyd, pois há quem esperava que ele fosse Nocauteado logo de princípio, e contra todas expectativas, foi até ao final, boa luta.

I was thrilled that it took 5 rounds before Mayweather figured out how to beat McGregor. Mayweather is smart, very smart.   • I'm still so confused why McGregor fatigued so fast. He must not have trained enough for this. I can promise you MMA will drain you WAY faster then just boxing. In MMA your wrestling, throwing punches, wrestling and throwing punches. You can see about the 5th and 6th round he was done, it might have been way different if he didn't gas out. Would love to see them do this again, even though Connor is 100lbs heavier now lol.,

Tho Absolutely awesome to watch live and replay this boxing match will never be replicated due to lack of originality & authenticity. Now if a Boxer came in the Octagon for UFC fighter pay it'd would be something for another one off. Even Alex Pereira winning the UFC Middleweight and LHW titles from a soley kickboxing base is impressive when people can wrestle/ground n pound/submit like Jon Jones & Khabib or with Jui Jitsu guards like Gilbert burns and Paul Craig
