Pablo looks as if he is getting ALL THE TREATS!!!!🤣🤣🤣
Run vents thru inner fenders
There is just NOTHING you can't do when it comes to auto building. Your attitude is refreshing, especially after what you have gone thru. Say hi to Pablo and Ester.
You forgot Buddy hey buddy we love you too❤😊
Thanks for taking us with you on the build Brent , also loving the music you are using at the moment .
Very cool old Chevy! 54 was a good yr, just happens to be the year i was manufactured! 😅
I’m a ‘54 model too.
I must admit My Family had one A 54 4dr chevy light blue white roof in to the 70's My older Brother Had one to a 4dr cream or faded yellow white roof, blew the engine on the freeway in Salt Lake City. My Grand father Pulled it to his place and Made my brother help him rebuild it. LOL! taught him about cars.
so happy to see these long videos again!
Little Turbo still = Lots of Fun!!!
Great Job on the mounts, looks good. This 54 Chevy will Scream down the road.. Cool Pablo taken a boot at the end. cool dogs. Pablo/Buddy
Well Viewers the pre-fire Brent is back. Brent is all oiled and smooth working project master. I bet there will be a tubing bending in the shop next video, either home made or bought. Thanks for the shared inspiration Brent, my 2005 Sierra 1500 HD project says thanks to you. Excellent video Sir.
I'm happy to see you making stuff again👍❤️🙏🙏🙏
While I don't often like what I see being built I do, however, enjoy just watching how everything fits together and looks a lot more like factory than many builders do.
If I had a lift like that one, I would be glad to use it, it would make working on my cars a lot easier.
Watching, listenimg, and learning from you, reminds me of sitting in my favorite college professors class and know I'm learning from the EXPERIENCE OF THE BEST ! !
Minty ! Thank You for sharing your video, and letting us hang out . Later ...
Great job Brent! Very inspiring.
Happy to see you back in your realm and watching you go ad it as nothing ever happened.❤️
The 54 is coming along nicely. Mounts look like they work well. Can't wait for more of this one so I will catch ya on the next one...later 😁
Brent. Your channel is my happy place. Love everything about it. Thankyou
Nice work I was lost, but you overcame all problems!
Looks like a fun turbo project, in a 54
That’s awesome seeing you back to your super productive self it’s like nothing ever happened. I commend you what a good vid
Coming along nicely!
Takes me forever to do what you breeze through. Wildly fast at getting things done
We'll make it work...I love that can do attitude and you can bet on Brent making it happen 😎👍
Good to see you working! Very tight space you are working in!
So glad to see the 54 back in the shop
This man can do anything from the last 100 years till now he can do anything
Brent you amaze me the way you can figure out how to make everything fit.👍👍
Nice! So nice in fact that although patina is all the rage -- The stainless & chrome look nice enough that little 54 deserves a eye flash bright paint job! It gonna be sweet!
I don't know who started that craze but it just tells me that they were either too lazy to finish the body work and paint job or just cheaped out on finishing the vehicle.
@@richardcline1337 oh I get it. They only original once. And on some survivors/rods it the right thing to do. But it's gone too far. I just was noticing how nice the stainless trim is. I'd for sure paint this one 😉
@richardcline1337 you'd get along with my Pop. Everything has to be gloss and crome. I never cared about paint or crome. Long as it runs strong and rides smooth. Interior has to be sharp though. Probably because I owned an upholstery shop. Used to laugh when folks asked when I was going to finish it. That was back in the 90's and I always replied it's done.
Excellent video Brent :) , Pablo The Supervisor Dog 🐕 , going not bad on Turbo building on 1954 Chevrolet car also don't forget the Cover also on motor and transmission meet want build one those too !
Thanks again for sharing your content Brent. Take care.
Still, I know he ses this is just a hobby, But where did all his skill come about. And its a pleasure to watch his work come good. He seems to just know how to fix and modify anything to fit. good show though
Maybe you should put in a conveyor belt system on the side of the driveway Brent and feed those projects in one at a time and run them out the back of the garage as finished cars!😎
Heeeheeeeneh 😊
Who’s party car Brent. Your fabrication is on spot. You’re on top of it again. And just getting used to your new tools. Thank you for sharing. 💯👍👊
it starts to remind me of the old times, it sounds and looks good
Oh yeah Brent , burnout turbo , this build sure will be interesting to watch , thanks for sharing ...👍
That's going to be a fun project when you're done with it!
Cool stuff. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Great progress
That fit better than i thought . good work!
I just went through that whole centring a engine yesterday 😂. Installing mounts to put a windsor block in a 38… it’s tight. Crank centre line to the frameand getting level in the frame take more time than one would think. 😂
I think you may need to change the name of your program to NOT SO HALFASS it's good seeing you pushing through your hardships most people would sit on their ass and wait for the insurance company to do repairs you have no idea how much I appreciate your program thanks for the videos I'll keep watching
That car is definitely gonna be a sleeper and alot of fun
I've used one of those lifts multiple times. Never had a problem with them.
Real nice fab job on the trans looks great Brent nice job brother👍
Very good got some more done so you can see what you've got now to tweak and make work.Well done sir Brent thank you for sharing
Nice job on the mounts and exhaust! Nice start! Take care!
Hello, dear Brent! Es ist wieder einmal ein Hochgenuss, Dir beim Iron- Brainstorming zuzusehen und zuzuhören.I like it! Die Nachtruhe ist gerettet. Im verry happy with your performance. The car will be a partycar. Best regards from Germany, ray.
I'm so happy to see you on a project , how your hand eye and brain work to perform mini miracles as you piece together the transmission mount with the exhaust and turbo . You may not be building a car to race but the 54 will certainly be a car filled with speed as a close second . Thanks for taking us on this magic trip into the building of this automobile .Till next time , God Bless you and yours . Someone who truly loves your ability . Stuart in Ontario ..
It's amazing what you can find on ebay these days it's crazy
Great video. I'm glad you posted keep them coming thanks
I'm confident Bret is smart about being safe. He seems to hide it a bit, but he is uber smart. He repairs computers as a day job. One thing I would like to see is him breathing less rust dust, but that goes for pretty much all the automotive youtubers I follow. lol
“No big deal” he says as he reengineers the whole thing. Wow.
My head would be hurting with all the figuring your doing with the turbo and exhaust manifolds. Pablo likes the wind in his hair.
Fantastic work. Your fabrication is awesome. Keep up the great work
Love the 54... I like it as much as the tri 5's. They have excellent curves & styling in my opinion... And with the chrome it just ties in beautifully.. Excited to see this one come together...
Safety? If you haven't rolled out from under a falling vehicle, you haven't wrenched! Those sizzer lifts have been around forever, quite safe.
What a cool project!
Thanks for another cool video!🐾🍺
Hello Brent, great progress on the project. Looking forward to seeing this build come together. Nice work my friend. As always take care and stay safe. 👍
Very Good Job My Friend ❤❤❤❤❤
Looking great. Can’t wait to see her go down the road 😎
Really impressed on your trans mount look like a work of art
Coming along nicely Brent that seems pretty reasonable price for that kit
Awesome Brent. It’s going to be a super cool motor.
I used Butt Weld fittings to do an exhaust manifold. They come in various diameters and angles. 45's & 90's available in short and long radius forms.
I love the column shifter on this ole chevy I didn't know they actually had air inlet duct work in these cars first time I've ever seen this! Well folks, I'm pretty sure if the hoist wasn't safe Brent wouldn't be using it, it's not like he doesn't know what the heck he's doing! for example, he's not a backyard mechanic, he has owned his own garage for years now, common man. Actually that hoist is most likely a hell of a lot stronger than modern day hoists because back in the day they made things well. With a better quality of metal than the crap that comes out of china nowadays, that's for damn sure.
Keep up the great work, love see the progress on the 54.
The table is working pretty good, I think you came out okay on it. It's going to be a fun car.
I always take a cutting torch to a spot that doesn't matter and if it cuts clean it forged or steel.
The ‘54 is a cool project
Awesome job as always Brent
Cool, small tbo should spool quick!
Turbo! Nice!
Pablo says I sure am glad you drive cars w/ open air ride! ben/ michigan
Make the left bank a hood exit that goes straight up.
This is going to be a very cool build for the old 54 Brent. Thanks for the heads up on which turbo kit to look for when doing something like this.
Figured it out great job 👍
Hey Brent! Nice work. The 54 is really coming along! Look forward to the first test run. Your right it does need gears. Nice work my friend!! As always stay safe! 😀😀
Just gotta keep picking away, it will get there! Trans mount, good idea to make it serviceable. Sadly mr bad chad is a one and done kinda guy.
Nice work on the mounts, cross member and turbo plumbing. You make it look so easy as usual. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Listening to a Wren singing in the background @ 12:50 there! ben/ michigan
Gtreat to see the belair coming together, that will be a great ride, thanks for all the info Brent!
That looks great so far brent …
It’s going to purr just know it great watch Brent 👍👋🇨🇦
Nice to see you back at it again and fixing or should I say "working your magic" these cars and trucks. Say you something about mufflers, Amazon has 2" kits for $150.00 and 3" kits for $195.00, there is a lot of pieces in them, enough to a car and have some left over. Can't wait to see your new building, you'll have plenty of room. Your old shop had a lot of space that was not used that much because of the layout. Take care my friend
Yeah I've used those a lot in the past
Awesome car. I got a 53 and love it
Awesome fabrication lots of great know how.
Brett very nice job. Glad to see a new video my friend. It sounds really good. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep making God bless.
Car is turning out awesome I like that transmission out that you just built I understand about all the headaches but you'll work it out been there done this
Can't wait to see it do a burn out 😊
Great Video. Thanks for Sharing.
Looking good!👍🏻 Marty G
I just finished up on what you had done to the 54 and there you go getting it pulled back in the garage. Now all you have to do is remember what you did to it from before you get started all over again. But it is looking good. Back on track and moving forward again, ok have a good one, later
I dont recon that other pooch likes to ride. Hes probably planning the next build. ❤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice going, Brent
Long time first time. I'm glad to see you are back on a project full on. Love the 54s and tri 5s. Keep up the good work we love your channel.
