Manchester City's academy has boasted some of football's best talent in recent history, at present.
In today's video we look back at City's Golden Generation - a trio of Phil Foden, Jadon Sancho and Brahim Diaz, where it all started and the journey they took to end up where they have.
you deserve WAY more subs
Thanks! Just the start 💫👊
@@umirf1 fr i love ur channel

Nothing better than seeing an academy graduate shine, especially local lads. Clayton (Frimpong), Wythenshawe (Palmer), Edgely (Foden), Whitefield (Rico), all being represented at the highest level.
100%, it’s one of the best things about club football. Especially when you’re local to the team you support too.
foden's from stockport
@@zetseatasmare5775edgeley is in Stockport
Production value looking mad clean bro
Appreciate it brother!
Wicked video mate, wonder how a Bobb, Palmer, Frimpong and Lewis video will come out down the line!
Appreciate you boss! Ridiculous cohort init, be exciting to see how it pans out.
@@umirf1 any names that have jumped out to you as potential NEXT in conveyor?
@@TikiTokaMateJacob Wright (DM) and Dada Mascol, I’m a big fan of. Ndala is electric too.
City’s Chairman is just Rodri w a turban on 🤣🤣🤣
Great video, been a big city fan for a while and didn’t even know a lot of what you shared about these three. Impressed by the research you did for this vid!
well done abi improve on your audio quality and youll do big things in the near future.
Sancho is just unfortunate but he is getting his feet and flair back at bvb
Yep, hope to see him at his best in an environment that supports him.
Great vid man keep up the good work your gonna be big someday
Hopefully! Thanks for tuning in man.
Absoulute masterpeice keep up the good work.
Thanks!
@@umirf1 No problem.😁
Great video bro, editing is top notch
Thanks brother!
Great sweet ending to wrap up the video
When I used to watch academy games at the time, out of the 3, I used to rate Sancho the highest. Obviously, to me at the time CHO was even greater, but look at how all that turned out
Game of opinions tbf. For me, Foden was always clear, but Hudson Odoi was one of the greatest youth talents I’ve ever seen.
Oscar Bobb excites me the most right now. The kid is so so special. Really wish he would be given more minutes in this team but I’m sure his time is coming. More potential than Sancho and Diaz imo, and he’s close to Phil’s potential. The guy is a magician and ngl I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a starter within 2 years, or even next season
Amazing video top class work
Appreciate it my friend!
amazing video almost forgot they all played together 10/10

Phil Foden 21G 10A this year. Stockport Iniesta
Ridiculous footballer init.
Inesta never had good numbers though, I get the comparison but the two are so different.
Underrated channel

Incredible watch

Fantastic Video👍🏻
Appreciate it my friend!
The biggest problem for these players is that the first team is sooo good, you must be at least on massive talent already (Foden) or major random gaps in the team due to player sales or injuries (Rico Lewis) to even get a chance. Palmer wanted to go on loan, but was told either he stays and ends up being behind, well... everyone (which is a fair assessment given the quality of Doku, Grealish, Bernardo, Foden, KDB and not even starting with the more central, defensive midfielders). Palmer and Brahim are doing well in their respective clubs, but it's hard to say they would have been given or earned a chance against previously mentioned players. Besides, our current model seems to be predicated more towards either loaning players into City Football Group teams or selling for high profit, unless you're given a big enough due to affore mentioned reasons. I don't particularly think Lewis is a bad player, but i am I guess you could say more scared that the won't play that much and will eventually be replaced by a purchase. Afterall, Foden didn't have loads of game time at the start, despite his already immense talent. Obviously, in hindsight, such development worked out great but it won't work for every player. There's rumors (again) that Bernardo wants to go Barca (again) so I'm interested if this would afford Bobb more game time or not

Great video

nice video
Nice vid
Thanks! Really appreciate it.
While Foden is out of semis , Sancho is living the dream of playing in Dortmund against PSG in the finals .
Foden top 5 in the world rn
I wish three of them are still playing for city now, including frinpong and maybe plamar
I think if fooden goes to Barca it will be too good
Sancho would have been really good at City I reckon, he excels in his technical game, if he was City’s 10 he would fly His feet are so fast (in terms of dribbling and ball control. Brahim Diaz yh that just never lived up to the hype.
he in a bigger club now Diaz
KDB best midfielder this gen listen to him talking BT Foden balon doir better than me stats ie goals assists games trophy's KDB, S words
Shouldnt palmer also be part of this youth gen??
Frgt sancho smashed bundeslig for 2 Yr fkn btr than jude. N playing gd again. Odegard best player defo. Sancho still be a star
🎉🎉🎉🎉
KDB said it himself Foden will break all his records n win balon doir nearly 9 year younger. Looked like a city player from silva left. Like we done with saliba but 2 Yr loan. Pep kept Foden protected few year siva sterling mahrez Augero were coming to end now look. A think Diaz doing OK real player but doing gr8 at Ac Milan still end a real legend 100%
Imo. Sancho should of stayed at Man City, if he wasn't getting minutes, he would go to other clubs in lower division or loans to big clubs, would be safer than moving
as a united fan when the sancho vs foden debate was a thing i was thought and said foden was better even doe he had less game time
Good eye tbf.
@@umirf1 ye when sancho was bought by united i told my homie that we should of went for foden even doe it was obvious he just wanted to play for city
I wish three of them are still playing for city now, including frinpong and maybe plamar
