EPIC Ozarks Overlanding Trip Pt. 2 - With My Jeep TJ

Hey guys! So stoked to be sharing this adventure with you. If you haven't seen part 1 yet, be sure to watch that first!
As you'll see, we had such a great variety of terrain, awesome challenging weather, and some beautiful views. My Jeep TJ absolutely killed it on this trip. It dominated the water crossings, washouts, and anything else I could throw at it.
Shoutout to Matt McClellan with Ozark Overland Adventures for planning and guiding us on this trip. Matt also has a KZhead channel (Ozark Overland Adventures), so be sure to check that out as also has some excellent camping and offroad content.
Matt's channel: / @ozarkoverlandadventures
As always, be sure to leave your camping areas and trails better than you found them. Never leave any trash, and pick up any that you may see on the trail - it's what keeps forests like this open.

  • I swear the best thing about camping is when it’s late at night and everyone’s around the camp fire and then waking up to hear a zipper I don’t know what it is but it’s definitely one of the best parts

    • Yeah I never really thought about it but there is something about the sound of the zipper in the morning, specially if you woke before other. Thinking back to my Boy Scout days and sitting around the morning fire, hearing a zipper, and then everybody looking over at the row of tents to see who woke up next.

    • Almost as funny as watching the Toyotas that haul groceries and kids to soccer, do the same trails and obstacles as built Jeeps...

    • Matthew Scott Buddy, you and your Toyota cronies should go to Hot Springs or SMORR and try to do some Jeep stuff. Overlanding in the Ozarks is a 2wd endeavor. Believe me, I’ve done it for years and done about every trail in the Ozarks. There are VERY few spots that are technical or difficult. However, the degree of difficulty is automatically higher if you’re in a Toyota. That’s just a fact.

  • Great job sharing your trip with us and the film editing was great. Im planning a US ramble with my 2001 TJ some day in the future and ill have to put Arkansas on my list of places to visit. Ben reminds me of my 2yo granddaughter a bit. They both leap with out looking and neither one of them listens worth a flip. They both make us laugh but I bet my granddaughters cuter though. That cabin you folks explored reminded me so much of my grandmas home on my moms side alot. She didnt have electricity till some time in 1973 and it was some time in the 1980s before she had a hot water heater or an indoor toilet. An outhouse is a miserable thing in the winter and the smell in the hot south Georgia summers can be overwhelming.
