EPIC Ozarks Overlanding Trip Pt. 2 - With My Jeep TJ
Hey guys! So stoked to be sharing this adventure with you. If you haven't seen part 1 yet, be sure to watch that first!
As you'll see, we had such a great variety of terrain, awesome challenging weather, and some beautiful views. My Jeep TJ absolutely killed it on this trip. It dominated the water crossings, washouts, and anything else I could throw at it.
Shoutout to Matt McClellan with Ozark Overland Adventures for planning and guiding us on this trip. Matt also has a KZhead channel (Ozark Overland Adventures), so be sure to check that out as also has some excellent camping and offroad content.
Matt's channel: / @ozarkoverlandadventures
As always, be sure to leave your camping areas and trails better than you found them. Never leave any trash, and pick up any that you may see on the trail - it's what keeps forests like this open.

I swear the best thing about camping is when it’s late at night and everyone’s around the camp fire and then waking up to hear a zipper I don’t know what it is but it’s definitely one of the best parts
It kind of depends on whose zipper it is... :D
I bet you like the look on the groom's face when the bride walks in too.
Yeah I never really thought about it but there is something about the sound of the zipper in the morning, specially if you woke before other. Thinking back to my Boy Scout days and sitting around the morning fire, hearing a zipper, and then everybody looking over at the row of tents to see who woke up next.
So cool to see all these different types of rigs, people working together and having a good time. Cheers.

It’s always funny to watch Toyota’s attempt to do Jeep things.
Almost as funny as watching the Toyotas that haul groceries and kids to soccer, do the same trails and obstacles as built Jeeps...
Matthew Scott Buddy, you and your Toyota cronies should go to Hot Springs or SMORR and try to do some Jeep stuff. Overlanding in the Ozarks is a 2wd endeavor. Believe me, I’ve done it for years and done about every trail in the Ozarks. There are VERY few spots that are technical or difficult. However, the degree of difficulty is automatically higher if you’re in a Toyota. That’s just a fact.
@@Muffduster well duh a solid front axle is gonna be more capable in situations like that, but toyotas are solid all around rigs if you wanna do some light wheeling and have a comfortable daily
Every one - "Ben, are you ok up there?" Ben - "I have a situation" Me - Literally busted out laughing 😂
Hahahaha same!
@@ArkansasOffroad i also watch atv trail vids and one was like um guys i got a situation and his quad was literally gone he drive in a 10m deep mud hole that was flooded and since he was new he didnt know that it was that deep and yea was fun to watch ut cant find it anymore :) XD
Totally!!!
That guy is a clown…takes horrible lines and doesn’t even listen to his spotter. He deserves the carnage
I agree, this had to be an incredible trip with a little of everything, awesome, thanks for sharing.
"Ben turn passenger.. passenger.... THE OTHER PASSENGER... PAAASSSSENGGER" lmao
That dude annoys me a lot .
@@wyattcarter4359 seriously, like dude listen to your spotters! They can see more than you!
Why not use hand signal
I was trying to get my PASSENGER tire up that bank. My KO2s weren’t having it. Plus listening to matt is no fun.
😂😂😂🕊🕊🕊
Looked like a heck of a good time and great memories made. Now on to 4 days worth of cleaning to get that Jeep shining again lol.
I’m an old Arkansas boy currently living in Colorado. Really enjoyed seeing so many different rigs all working together and having a great time.
That was an amazing trip. Thanks for letting us watch.
People who are planning to go camping need information like this to serve as their guide before they go. Thanks for creating this!
You gotta love the Warren movie cabin not far from there is twin falls the beaver slide an the union school house this some nice trails all in my backyard glad to see y’all enjoyed it as much as we do
That’s hands down the cleanest TJ I’ve ever seen
Awesome thanks for the adventure it's nice to see you explore the trails!
Again I will say. Excellent video with a good bunch of people. Beautiful 4 Wheeling.
It’s good to see friends enjoying friends and enjoying the great outdoors. Good job
This was a great series! 👍 It was nice to see an overland adventure with a little adversity so close to home.
I love watching the videos and thank you for showing me the jeep life now I have to get my own jeep jk or TJ because I already have a commander which I love thank you once again
Been down to the east side of the forest several times, definitely going to check out the westside after watching this video.
Great Video that shows how ( or how not) drive 4x4 and have a great time with friends on camp grounds. Greetings from Germany
Hell to the yea! Maybe I’ll join in a year when my suspension is up to par with talks crazy ass ha! Intense trails!
Nice sence of driving sence.fabulous.good team work
Great stuff, just found your channel recently. Cool to see this kind of thing in Arkansas. I’ve driven through several of these locations on hiking trips.
It’s cool to see guys in my home state doing this. Been wanting to get into this, so it’s awesome to see something in my neck of the woods!
Love the channel, keep up the good work. Love your mods and watching the OZARK tours. 👍👍 ( UK)
Just found this channel watched part 1 it was like a short movie thanks for all the great editing on a funny note I kept thinking of Burt Reynolds 🤠I've always wanted to trail ride in Arkansas thanks from Florida keep it up
Thanks for sharing. Live in Indianapolis and nice to see there is overhanding on this side of the Mississippi
Great Videos - Thanks for sharing your adventures - Love your TJ - great Rig - Greetings from Australia
You guys are awesome! This what I love to see instead of all of the racism, divisiveness and evil that's going on. I would love to hang out with a great group of guys like you all. Keep it going and pass this fellowship on to the young ones too. 👍🙂
Just found your channel while trying to do some research on new areas to off-road in my home state of Arkansas. Honestly I’ve hardly been more excited while watching a video! Keep it up, excited to see more.
Great video, watched this as soon as I finished part 1. Keep up the great work! Big fan and fellow jeep owner from conway area. 👍 🔥🔥 Footage
Was nice too see other ORV's adventuring together. :) Cheers mate * Jeep Your TJ is beaut!
love the old cabin! glad to see something untouched by time and idiots
I am enjoying watching your videos. i watched the first part and had to come here to watch the second. great videos! Thanks for making them and taking us along! Stay safe!
Awesome! Thanks so much!
My favorite part of the videos is always the cooking part! Keep up the great content. 😎
Im really like it with you jeep man , so simple and really compact !!
Great video!!! Good to see old homesteaders that are not vandalized!🍻
Thanks , great adventure!!!!!!
Great job sharing your trip with us and the film editing was great. Im planning a US ramble with my 2001 TJ some day in the future and ill have to put Arkansas on my list of places to visit. Ben reminds me of my 2yo granddaughter a bit. They both leap with out looking and neither one of them listens worth a flip. They both make us laugh but I bet my granddaughters cuter though. That cabin you folks explored reminded me so much of my grandmas home on my moms side alot. She didnt have electricity till some time in 1973 and it was some time in the 1980s before she had a hot water heater or an indoor toilet. An outhouse is a miserable thing in the winter and the smell in the hot south Georgia summers can be overwhelming.
That was a wet muddy trip. Looks like everyone was happy. Could tell your friends are a bit camera shy. Thanks for the video! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Only getting into overland now. Lots of great trails up here in BC. Love your videos and also considering a TJ
I can hardly wait!!
Excellent vid. Reassured me about getting a soft top for jeep (or a bikini safari top, windjammer and little tonneau for storage area) so i won't damage the fiberglass hard top
Y’all are living the life!! I must have a Jeep!!!!!! Love your rig. I watched both parts and some of that was sketchy af!!! Looked like a ton of fun!!
Getting ready to buy a rubi. Going to be wheelin in VT/NY/MA/NH area. Love the vids, good quality, good production.
Love your content man. Your TJ is perfect. Wish mine looked like it.
When Ben gets more experience, a little older and a little wiser, he may just eventually be the an extremely competent Wheeler.
Michael Salice he already is a pretty competent wheeler at 18.. he was trying to play a little for the camera since he had plenty of back up. When it’s more critical he is very safe. And makes good decisions.
Awesome video I like how there’s different type of Rigs im a tacoma owner but i like those jeeps and the 4runner nice video
Man... These videos make me miss my '03 TJ. I traded it in on my RAM 1500. I wish I kept the TJ as well...
Great couple of episodes. You guys took on some radical trails and make me now understand the need for all those side bars we see on the Aussie rigs. Very interesting to see the clearances, angles and radius in action between Tacoma, Jeep, Colorado, 4-runner etc.
100% agree Robert, gave me a lot of insight on bumper protection for the longer vehicles. Those side bars are killer.
@@ArkansasOffroad do watch Ronny Dahl's channel on KZhead? His channel is under his name but his brand is 4 Wheeling Australia and I think you'd enjoy the video reviews of the different rigs. Sadly, they are way ahead of the US in overlanding, especially in using solar power. Really enjoyed your videos.
@@robertrodgers1423 Yep! That dude is awesome.
I grew up going down there with family during my childhood and even now, we call that place you camped horse hole and that area limestone!! :)
That trip looked awesome! Gonna have to get my Jeep set up for that!
man that looked like a great time, thanks for sharing.
Love seeing you fix that Onyx coffee! and that Lost 40 brew!!!
Michael Varnell yes sir!!
As always amazing video awesome trails spectacular campsites
I live in the desert, so nearby camping for me is quite different than it is for you. But your videos allow me to live vicariously through you, so thanks for that! Keep up the awesome content man!
DurrrPancakes appreciate it!!
Wowww amazing place beautiful I love Extream adventures 👌❤️❤️
I loved your videomaking Mr. 😍 ! And, the potato making guy is sweet 😄.
Man i love your channel !!!! Great footage and overall content. Looking forward to see where you go and grow with your channel. What an amazing TJ you've got there , basically outwheelin al the modern cars you trail with. But please oh please keep the good stuff on coming. All the best for you. 4x4 Trailin love all the way from South Africa !!!!
Wow thank you so much for the support!!
Watched both parts it looked like a great adventure
Good thing Ben has street tires. There would be a lot more carnage if his tires had grip. It's fun to wheel with someone like him. Keeps things interesting.
Great video. Really makes me miss wheeling with friends.
Nice video bro. Stupendous views and amazing drive. 👍
this is right next to my cabin love seeing others enjoy it!!!
I love that camping spot. Been there a few times
That place is really beautiful I love that just no internet no aircon just peace*
you know what your setup was d best ❤️
Very nice !!! Bro that’s amazing .. thank u for sharing this .. this will be me soon !!!
i just recently bought my first jeep and over the next several months im outfitting it to do some long trips out west and this just made me so much more excited for it
Right on dude!
Love the videos, keep em' coming!
Beautiful country side for sure.
Looks like another great trip. I like that side of the Ozark National Forest. I always try to go to the cabin on Saturday so I can visit with Bub he is a character and that trail behind the barn up the mountain is always fun. Ya'll were only a few miles from the Oark Store that is always a great place for food and photo ops.
Oh yeah! We love the Oark store, but it was closed because of the virus. Amazing food and pie!
Cavenders love that stuff it's the bomb on B&G as Matt knows thought i was the only one
Excellent job on this. Great trip, great filming and editing. This is a wicked and authentic video. Greetings from off-roaders from the Northwest Territories.
awesome...!!!! guys!!!
I have the same exact set up when it comes to your small coffee stove.
Looks great, and like your videos keep them coming.
Awesome adventure and filming 👏🏻
Fantastic 2 parter.
Love ur Jeep.....
This makes me want to get outside and get after it. Great video!
18:30 Ozone Burger Barn ran out of burgers?!?!?! Never heard of such a thing. Subscribed
Just got an 01 TJ, but there are a lack of forests in the Fallon deserts. I may have to find some in Tahoe to have fun.
Thanks for sharing 👍.
Great one again! Amazing campsite 🙌🏻 I agree. East side is the best.
Appreciate it Chad!!
I would have been fishing that spot ! Just in front of the Rapids....
Ben is a madman, the hero we need
I'm digging your Jeep!
Thanks for sharing...awesome =!!!
Looks like one awesome trip.
Wow i love all your jeep amazing
Damn , your best videos, congrats 🎊🎉🎈🍾 definitely I’m gonna save them, the scenery all the rigs, your comments ..... I loved both videos! Congratulations man ! 🤙🏻
Wow thanks so much!!!
I love that offroaders respect the cabin
Greetings from Alaska:) looks like y'all had some fun in this crazy time. stay safe and tell Grady I said hey.
Kaden Hainline Thanks Kaden, will do!
16:43 😂😂😂 great job, man. I really enjoyed these videos.
Watched both videos!! Awesome Adventure!!! Trails like that would make me want to keep the TJ, love the new truck tho.
Best one yet!!!
I watch You’re vidéo from France !! It’s cool and very beautiful Keep going I love it Thanks (Merci)
Wow that's awesome! Thank you very much!
We were out there that same weekend and we camped at that same campsite on on big piney Friday night when the heavy storm came in but we camped up on higher ground where that huge tree had fallen into the river. Great spot. Camped there a hand full of times

Great trip, awesome video, I enjoyed very much👍👍👍
Excellent videos, really enjoyed them. Ben is a giant liability and gonna learn the hard way eventually.
Thanks! Nah, he likes to keep it fun. He really knows what he's doing, he just likes the camera.
Cant wait to try this in my f150
