Yes! I've been asking for this for a long time. At least a 4WD off road buggy. I wouldn't mind 1/8 scale either (I would actually prefer that). But anyways... it's a gap in Traxxas' lineup.
You could turn a slash 4x4 into a buggy

@@Rc_cars5 Indeed. Most things can turn into something if you do it yourself. What I want is a RTR buggy in the Traxxas lineup, not the ability to turn a Slash into a buggy.
I bought a Rustler 4x4 Ultimate when it was first released. I have grown quite fond of it! Great video Traxxas!

got my Stampede from TRX yesterday. It looks like a "mini" MAXX, and I can't wait to send it. I never tried the Hoss, so this should be a new driving experience for me, and I hope it doesn't disappoint!
Well the rebranded hoss is awesome I bought it when they came out as the hoss same truck just rebranded with some new goodies included now

I’ve got the Hoss and the Extreme-HD upgrade kit is sitting in my room waiting to be installed. Not gonna put it on until I get the GTR shocks I ordered. It’s awesome that Traxxas has made a Hossipede (I refuse to call this a Stampede since it’s got the design of the Hoss) with the kit without raising the price (at least as far as I can tell. It says $430 on their website). The kit will take the truck from very durable to nigh indestructible. If only they’d updated the shocks as well…
Hoss is amazing with the gtrs and the Ext Duty Kit. Upgrade the servo and the truck is about perfect. My wifes truck and it holds up well to her driving 😂 The Hoss should have been the stampede from the start.
@@craiglamb9029 Way ahead of you there. First thing I changed after adding a heat sink and fan to the motor was take the EcoPower WP110T servo that was in my Bigfoot and put it in there. I also recently stiffened the servo saver and it turns a lot better now. I’m extremely excited for the upgrades. It definitely needs the shocks. The Ultra shocks are terrible. It probably doesn’t help that one of them on mine currently has no oil cause it all leaked out and I figured I wouldn’t rebuild it and just wait for the GTRs. I’m also getting new fans cause the Traxxas ones are broken. And the green shoes body to replace the original Solar Flare one, which is quite beat up and will become a basher body

I love your videos…what kind of camera setup is used on the vehicles? Do you watch through something like a V.R. headset?
This one was shot on Red Epic, GoPro 11 and DJI Mavic. No fpv… just LOS driving.
The Hoss is no longer listed in the models page. Has it been discontinued? This new Stampede 4x4 is the Hoss, just upgraded? Either way, looks good!

@@michaelmaier904 Der Hoss wird eingestellt und der Stampede ist quasi der Nachfolger. Mit dem HD Kit ein Upgrade zum Hoss! Ich hole ihn auf jeden Fall. Aber der Release in Dt. dauert noch.
@@andreasschick8247 Ah das macht sinn. Der Hoss ist auch irgendwie so ein zwischending gewesen. Irgendwie cool aber im Vergleich zum alten Stampede zu teuer und kein wirklicher Vorteil. Diese Überlegung hatte ich auch. Danke für die Info

OK I was 5-8yrs old when Traxxas released the Rustler Xl-1. And I loved it, even though it looked like a Dodge. Anyway I gotta say the 4x4 Rustler is going to become my next favorite rc when I can get my hands on one. And the Ultimate seems like a good deal, only downside is you don't offer all of the 2.8 rim styles in a glue/bolt on option.

How is it not? It shows the trucks and the Extreme-HD upgrade kit installed. Whats not effective about it? Anyway, it’s just a promo video to get people interested. It’s not meant to be a commercial. Although I do admit the promos for the Hoss were a lot cooler than this one for the Hossipede and Ristlwr

Hi i have problems with my erevo 2.0 i know i think its discontinued but for somereason my steering for my remote is my throttle and steering, ive been trying to recalibrate everything and cant make it work the motor works fine but i dont know what to do please help😢
Swap the plugs in your receiver, switch the throttle wire and servo wire
With your aluminum gtr shocks these would be just rite but they are very good no matter

I doubt they’d do that. The other 1/10 Ultimates are priced at $530 and that puts it way too close to the Maxx V2. There’d be no reason to buy an Ultimate Hoss when you could just buy a Maxx for $40 more

It lives on in the design of this ‘new’ Stampede, though in my mind it’ll always be called the ‘Hossipede’. My Hoss is my favorite RC car and it’s sad to see it get discontinued and replaced by another Stampede

Nah, the older stampede 4x4 is the real stampede 4x4. Leave it to traxxas to just rearrange/rename existing cars. The hoss felt like a heavy pig compared to the original stampede 4x4.
