  • as a woodworker this is truly the most beautiful architecture i have ever seen. I found myself pausing the video and staring at the carvings to try and plan out how i would even begin to carve it. Came to the very easy conclusion that i couldn't, they are truly masterpieces created by some of the best craftsman in the world.

    • Its all the influences of german, british, italian and the on top some crazy good romanian artists. Crazy the influences also because of how or who the family married. Didnt know, that so many stuff came from workshops all over europe like vienna, hamburg, munich, etc.

  • I think it's safe to stop referring to things as "most impressive in the castle," and start referring to them as "most impressive in the world." This place is simply magnificent and completely unparalleled. I doubt I'll be as impressed by anything for a long time. I had no idea this place existed until today.

  • The artistry of the woodwork is so amazing. The weaponry is absolutely stunning. My sympathy, however, was definitely aroused by the horse and rider, both of which were encased in armor. That poor beast could hardly have gone too far with all that weight.
