I didn't wished for my ambitious goals. I envisioned it, and figured out how to do it. Which I actually did, I took a home improvement loan. Then I used some of it, to invest in King dividend stock. Let the dividend build my holdings, I calculated that in six (6) years, I can pay off the remaining 50 or $60K in 5 or 6 months. And live off the dividend income afterwards. That's how I put a little boost to my investing. I envisioned it, planned it, then I executed my plan.
Recession are part of the economic cycle, all you do is make sure you're prepared and plan accordingly. I graduated into a recession (2009). My 1st job after college was aerial acrobat on cruise ships. Today I'm a VP at a global company, own 3 rental properties, invested in stocks and biz, built my own business, and have my net worth increased by $500k in the last 4 years. Informative , nice and insightful video but remember not to overgeneralize especially in a large continent like Asia ... Japan has much more expensive prices than Malaysia in South East Asia ... Dubai and Abu Dhabi are more expensive than Turkey ... Here , in Lebanon and typically the capital city Beirut ( on the Mediterranean sea ) has become more affordable in terms of accommodation and hotel services due to the devaluation of the national currency called Lira...

Simple! Thanks for the video Alux. I have about 5-6 of the things on your list and I've never thought of myself as rich. However, your video made me take a step back and realize how fortunate I am. I was recently let go from a job I wanted to leave and I was in a good enough financial position that despite the fantastic severance package I don't have to work for a while. Knowing that when I go back to work it will be a job I want to do (construction management for charities) not have to do is a huge "Rich Flex". I appreciate the content you put out there and the upgrades to your app. If you could create a smoother experience on the app, on an iPhones and Samsungs I find it very sluggish, I would appreciate it.
