Reunion Tour gives me such a weird, distinct feeling, especially the section from 2:26 to 2:47. Like nostalgia, deja vu, hope, bitterness, love, longing, regret, all mixed together...
I specifically played this video to get to that part. That soft synth lead is perfect
that part gives me chills tbh.
42:31 That Final Form music is Final Fantasy as fuck. That shit's so Final Fantasy that my first time listening to the finale of Balance, the scene I pictured in my mind instantly morphed into a 16-bit style final boss screen throughout the entire fight. lol
This is the level of musical language that even Square in its golden era would have been proud

these comments are so much fun, i love seeing which part hit everyone and why. for me, it will always be Voidfish (plural) and the reunion tour. this has been incredible as background as i'm working on my final projects..... Story and Song is one of my greatest comfort arcs and i adore the music that griffin has made. Thank you for putting it all in one place! its nice not to have to deal with commercials and stuff while i'm listening.
Just finished listening through the Balance arc again for the first time since it came out. So beautiful. "Lucretia" is my fav track here - so much longing in these songs

I think in Parley, there was maybe a s bit of Pink Floyd inspiration. Its subtle but it feels like something out of one of their albums.
