Soundtracks for The Adventure Zone: Amnesty by Griffin McElroy.
The Beast & The Water: griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/a...
Radio Quiet: griffinmcelroy.bandcamp.com/a...
I combined the two soundtracks together and removed the bonus tracks from the first album so that it's a pure Amnesty experience (although Dust's theme slaps).

  • i could really see griffin designing music for a game. in my opinion he's up there with toby fox with making impactful and catchy music

  • The emotional whiplash of Interstellar Blues between all these really distressing Ned and Aubrey-centric pieces is so comical; like all this really intense character work is happening, and then Duck and Minerva are just doing wormhole stuff slashing aliens. And then after that? Distressing Ned-centric piece.

  • I'm on yet another listen (I have already commented but whatever) and I always listen to TAZ soundtracks when I work on my D&D campaigns. But I wanted to just discuss how much Amnesty impacted me, especially with Ned's death. Ned was completely my favorite character in Amnesty (Duck was a close second though). Balance was what taught me how to make a story to surprise my players, Amnesty taught me how to dive into them. Thank you Griffin for teaching me how to DM and thank you Griffin for giving me the music to allow myself to slip into my worlds to write them. The McElroys have been with me in my D&D journey for a long time and I will forever have them in my journies to come.

  • I don't think I've ever felt this way about any piece of music before but the two Amnesty Lodge themes make me feel so at home. I have never had any piece of music ever make me feel so safe, taken care of and loved. Well done Griffin, and thank you

    • I know exactly what you mean, to me those to themes have always felt homely and also just warm and the entire soundtrack just has this air of familiarity to it.

  • I associate so much emotion in the show to the two Amnesty Lodge tracks and Sylvain, there's so much catharsis had when they are played on the show.

    • you can really hear the Disaterpeace influence, Griffin talked about how much he loved the soundtrack he did for "it Follows" and its such a good track to take influence from, really fitting. griffin really scared the shit out of me with that one

  • SPOILERS FOR AMNESTY BELOW it's super weird hearing how... comforting? The "Another World" song is, considering it represents an alien race that manufactors wars to ensure their own survival. Did griffin have other plans for what role they'd serve in the story?

    • Yeah the reconciliation themes all have very different tones while having the same motif. Billy reconciliation and another world are all peaceful whereas the countenances themes are all super menacing and intense. Also you are in like all of the same comment sections as me lmao

  • The beginning of Aubrey and Dani sounds so much like the Twin Peaks intro. Edit: not even just the beginning. The whole song has that sort of twangy, synth-bass vibe that Twin Peaks used for like, all of its music.
