  • I bet she feels a lot better. When you sew with a machine, you can make the job a lot easier if you insert the pins at right angles to the sewing line. You need to use more, but you just pull 'em out as you sew and you can go really fast if you want to. Thank you for uploading and see you soon.

I might have to go in search of them. Love that you left the old hags hair loose. The pigtails are what made her look creepy in the first place. Truly enjoyed this. Thank you!

  • I was so scared you would throw away her clothes and make new ones (since the fabric looked in good shape). That was a great hem for a first try but the tension on the sewing machine wasn't right. I think it was too tight, you shouldn't be able to see the bobbin thread from above (just from my humble experience with sewing machines). I loved this video to the last minute~ I really like marionettes!

I thought for sure you would use the shirt and shawl (poncho?) as a pattern to make completely new clothes for her. It’s what I would have done. Bleaching and re-dyeing the shirt and shawl wouldn’t have even occurred to me. Great job saving those original pieces!

About 12 years ago I was able to purchase a brand-new costume for him from a puppet museum which sadly has since closed its doors. His original costume is completely discolored and worn. I will put that in a shadow box to preserve it, and outfit Peppy with his new suit.
