  • I'm playing at an advanced hobby level and have implemented the 1st deception here several years ago in my play. At 60+ years of age this kind of deception can make a real difference against much younger players. And it's just fun to prove to my club mates that even an old dog can learn some cool new tricks! Thanks for the new tricks here, will watch again and start trying them in the next training sessions.

    • Where I play, almost everyone is over 40, many 50+/60+. They shred! Their play doesn't look as agile as of the younger players and definitely doesn't involve as much sprinting and jumps, but they're smart and know how to hit a smash and use deceptive shots.

Maybe thinking of winning got you both. I had the same thing when I’m on competition matches. But Greg had couple of forehand delayed shot looks great. And I cheered for you so laud for your 13th point in first set. Hopefully see you playing in China soon. Take care.
