  • Big wires are easier to strip. Small ones are the problem . Very smart way for small cable striping. Thank you😊.

  • Most small Guage wire is easy if you start the coating and just pull you have less loss😢 especially if you go to deep and fray the wire. This is especially true for stranded wire solid wire not so much.

  • You could flatten them to use in creating your own circuit boards. Thin plastic, cardboard.. then lay down the flattened wire. Drill the holes for components. That wire would be great for your own circuit boards.

  • Hello. Can you please help me make a machine for quick and easier disassembly of radiators from an air conditioner. There are copper tubes in aluminum foil. So far the easiest way is with a stationery knife... But when there are a lot of them it is also very difficult. I want to come up with some kind of machine.

  • 🤔 Not bad, but you are working to hard! 😉 get 2 cylinder rolling pins, or mount 2 drills to a work bench or table top. And have 2 socket drivers. Place the 2 rollers close to to each other. Then insert the three wire between the 2 Rollers, the wire sheathing will be split and go one way the wire will go the other way. Not only will you strip the wires but you will separate the wire from the outer plastic also the coating off the wire inside the sheeting as well😮😲😉🤩🧔

  • I can't help but think about how sore my fingertips would get after 20-30 minutes of stripping wire using these methods. Clever ideas for making insulation cutters, buy oh my tender fingers! To make stripping insulation from small gauge wire time effective for selling the copper, it has to be much less labor intensive & way faster. Best thing I've seen done cheaply was a stripper made out of the motor & belt rollers from a free treadmill. It would do all sizes & lengths & was fast. Stick the end of the cable between the spinning rollers & the copper was spit out the other side, sans insulation in the blink of an eye. Just don't have any excess cable wrapped around a wrist or ankle!
