It's Winter at Kaer Morhen, and the snow just makes this place a bit more magical than it already is. Enjoy the snow covered forest of Kaer Morhen and the cozy fireplaces inside the castle walls. I hope you can relax to this cozy ambience video with only the most relaxing soundtracks which I could find. Maybe grab a book and make yourself comfortable in this cold time of the year! :)
I used the mod "Winter at Kaer Morhen" by the talented DheyssonS, which you can find at NexusMods.
The tracks flagged as "Variation" are modified soundtracks of the original ones, made by myself. :)

Listening to this feels like being home
Because it is! :)
I used to play the game a lot back at home, now i moved abroad and the music took me back to the warmth of my home, family and my old life. its crazy how strong music is.
@@shkoata366 Just astonishing how much we connect some memories with the "background music" of a video game. But it's so much more than that :)
@@shkoata366 Crazy I am not alone. I am in exactly the same situation
Feels like I'm soaking in that tub with Yen hanging out in her underwear just near by
I hate that I can't play the witcher 3 for the first time again, but everytime I come back it feels like home and old friends there. What a masterpiece.
I've played W3 for the first time 1 month ago... I can't describe what I feel about this game, this is something else. Masterpiece
You got that right, brother. The impact this game has on ya is simply amazing.
I should play witcher 2 before 3? worth it?
@@Kiyanti For me it is worth it to play 2, it gives you a better context and there are also references to what happens in 2 and the choices of your save carry over, that said, you don't need to play 2 to understand or enjoy 3, if you just want to play the withcer 3 go for it! But if you are planning on playing 2 some other time I recommend you play it before 3, the witcher 3 is vastly superior to the witcher 2 in every aspect and you might not enjoy 2 in that order.
@@santi3991 I had the same opinion, so that’s what I’ll do)
Man, I really want to forget everything around this game. I want to play it for the first time once again. It's a shame we aren't able to do such a thing, it would be incredible.
I agree. Now we have to live with this beautiful memory which is a deal I'm happy to take though :)
i would give anything to play it again for the first time, i hope witcher 4 is as good but i dont see how they can strike gold twice @@Pharysz
I still have to play Witcher 3, I only played it one till lvl 8 or so
you can - just wait 60 years
it probably mean there are better things to do sadly
Just a friendly reminder for those nostalgic viewers that are sad they can't experience this game for the first time again, that most of CD Projekt Red employees are currently working on The Witcher 4 :)
While Corvo Bianco is a really cool place for Geralt to retire I personally like to imagine they all lived out the rest of their lives here. It has such a special vibe with all the history. Plus the views are breathtakingly beautiful. Man this game is something else indeed ❤ tnx for the music it brings joy to me.
Thank you for listening! :) It would've been a beautiful ending indeed. Seeing them all together, rebuilding the castle, sitting together at the fireplace in the evening. Magical :)
I agree. Kaer Morhen is true home for Geralt.
Although it would be nice, but wen you take a look at bigger perspective, everyone wanted to leave Kaer Morhen. Place was slowly dying, and when Vesemir was no longer present, I guess everyone wanted to forget about that place and move on, which makes sense. Such a tragic story of Kaer Morhen legacy, which is sad but it fits perfectly. But I do agree, Kaer Morhen would fit better than Corvo Bianco.
Man, this game! I still remember starting my first run, learning that White Orchard was just the tutorial area, sinking countless hours into Gwent, rarely quick travelling so I could enjoy the scenery and music, getting so engrossed in the world, the characters and the lore that I forgot I was searching for Ciri, being shattered at the conclusion of the Red Baron's story and crying for joy when in the end Geralt looked straight into my soul and smiled. Thank you for this compilation! 🥰
Thank you for this beautiful comment. I'm happy it brought so many good memories back! :)
Oh my, so glad you mentioned that wholesome moment with Geralt. It got to me so bad and I still tear up when I think about it😭
I finished all side quests, DLCs and still re-fight the scene at Kaer Morhen with Vizimir, cause I am not ready to move on. The scene when he tells you to close the gate, don't do it. Lure the wild hunt into his area and make him come down, then move to the bridge outside, and take stance there, fight alongside him and Lambert. Just enjoy that moment forever.
What i love about the Witcher Community. Since the Game is already a few years old, you can see under every Video about Witcher Music, Gameplay, Graphics whatsoever, that everyone has a special place in their Hearts for this Game
feels like being home 😌
I don't know what it is about this setting/game but man it feels cozy.
200k🎉🎉🎉 I’m glad that my mod reached a lot of people. Thanks for that, exceptional work dude!
Thank you for this beautiful & charming mod! And once again thank you for letting me use it to create this video! :)
I can't get enough of Kaer Morhen var A
Happy to hear that, I loved this one so much when I edited it. This one track sparked the idea for the whole video :)
5:28 It's like my life's a tangled mess, but this song... it's the lifeline that pulls me through the chaos, making me forget the weight of it all.
Beautifully put in words! This track calms me so much, almost makes me forget the biggest problems that a weighing on me :)
0:41 I love how well those 2 moments work together
One of my favorite games of all time😍❤ Kaer Morhen Novigrad Touissant Roach Roche Geralt Zoltan Skellige music map gameplay side quests everything is just.....GREAT😍❤️
It’s been some time since I heard a compilation where ALL the songs were perfectly selected ❤ In many cases people go from calm to agitated to tense music all in one compilation, but you have achieved a perfect calm and soothing combination of the Witcher 3’s music. Thanks! 🙌🏼
Thank you very much for this appreciation! This is exactly what I wanted to achieve and I'm so happy it hit its target. I hope the songs themself which I chose are to your delight! :)
Thank you! I'm in peace listening to this...
I love the variation C of Ard Skellige Village. Very relaxing!!!
I love that track! :) If you want a 1h version of this, you should check out my latest Witcher 3 video called "Skellige Meditation" :)
joy for the ears and soul
Glad you enjoy it :)
Dieser Moment wenn, ich nach hause stolpere nach zahlreichen Abenteuern und Zechen mit Freunden ist dieser Track immer in der Seele und im Herzen ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
I'm stuck at the literal first track. That's amazing. Normally my brain would want to sample this beauty and make something TOTALLY different out of it, but somehow I just want to write something to that masterpiece! Very beautiful. Hats off to the composer of that.
Would love to read what you would come up with! :)
Listening to Kaer Morhen and Streets of Whiterun (from Skyrim OST) makes it feel like home.
Awesome variations, awesome transitions very well curated!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoy them! :)
another masterpiece ☺
Thank you! You flatter me :)
I avoided playing this game for a long time when it came out... I didn't want to spend so much time in a game, and from the comments I had been reading, it was a major time investment. But play it I did. Once on the pc. Then on the ps4. Again pc. Again console. And every time I didn't want the story to progress and end... because the first playthrough was like reading a book you love from the first page. You need to see what will happen next, you are driven to progress, but with each page you read, you feel the pressure of the last page approaching, too fast. Comes the time when there are no quests left. No question marks left. No more scripted encounters. And then you might add a mod to have one of your former companions back because it's less empty. And maybe your last favorite spot is Khaer Morhen, because of the haunting theme music, because the crumbling walls and peeling frescoes are fitting for the mood of melancholia, and most of all because at night all the torches are lit, so someone else must be there after all while you walk the walls looking over the mountain and lakes. If I could play it again for the first time, I would.
It's one of the only games I've ever played all the way through. I even finished the expansions. I have dozens of other games sitting around that I'll probably never get around to finishing but I couldn't put this game down.
So restful it calms me.
Fantastic mix sir. Thank you so much for including the variations and rare tracks!
Thank you! :)
Fantastic video. As always. It must have taken a lot of time to make, but it was worth it because the result is perfect. I really like the sequence of the music and the video. I'm sorry I haven't had time to comment on your previous videos yet. Ezio's life p1 is great and I'm very curious about the next episodes and the video of Heroes of Might and Magic V surprised me immensely, pleasantly of course. I haven't heard tones from that game in a long time. As soon as I have a bit more time, I'll message you on your cozy channel on Discord.
Thank you once more for taking the time to write such long comments! :) I had a lot of fun creating this video, especially the variations. That's were I could apply some of my creativity. So you played Homm5 aswell? I love that game so much!
A masterpiece of a video 🌺
Thank you so much! It means a lot to me hearing it from the best Witcher 3 ambience creator on KZhead! :)
@@Pharysz oh no my friend, I am not the best but trying to get better every day. This is about you, and you did a splendid job👌 I also love how you manage to put toghether these relaxing tracks, and managed to have them at the same volume all the time. Take care!
@@BenevolentAmbiance Thank you so much again! :) Yeah a it cost a lot of time leveling out the volume of the different tracks, as you might know aswell, but it's so worth it and doesn't disturb the experience. Take care aswell, my friend :)
yayy thank you i asked you for this video before
You're welcome, I hope you like it :)
great work
Thank you! :)
as some ppl said almost 10 years later and still thousands and thousands of ppl play this amazing game. This what happen when you make games with your hearth not your wallet.
Hello my fellow witchers. Wish you all a peaceful day!
Amo este juego con toda el alma, jugarlo fue una experiencia religiosa, verdaderamente una obra maestra.
I feel as empty as Kaer Morhen after beating the game.
I couldn't force myself to listen to this music. Kaer Morhen is abandoned, Vesemir is dead and all witchers are going to die out. And there's nothing you can do about it.
the witcher is the best game in the world
NO YOU DIDNOT! 😍 I fcking love this!
I'm very happy to hear that :)
Fuck listening to this sound track brings back such blissful memories of playing this game for the first time
That's such a beautiful comment, thank you! :) But I feel you, our world is so overwhelming sometimes that one could wish to live a "simplier" life in the witcher universe :) Although it wouldn't be simple at all haha
это великолепно
It'll be hard to make The Witcher 4 better then The Witcher 3
❤❤

😎😎🔥🔥❤❤👍👍
Title: Winter at Kaer Morhen. Literally more than half of soundtrack is from skellige
I cannot find "A Tragic Romance" full piece, is this a original name for this OST? Where can i find it?
That's the only name I got. I don't know if it's the original name of the OST though. I got it from khinsider, just google it and it will lead you to the website. They have a plethora of soundtracks :)
19:18❤🎉😊
This first scene is in there wallpaper engine ?
No, it is actual gameplay which I recorded myself :)
never played it tho i have it
How is there snow in this game haven't seen it...can someone explain
It's a mod. Credits are in the video description :)
there is someting about tw3 i ve never experienced before in any other game. i ve been playing pc games for 25 years and this is the only one that felt like i am home.
Don't lie. You were born 25 years ago. No way youve been playing since you were born!
@@sgt.brownie5392 i am pretty sure i was alive 30 years ago
R.I.P. Vesemir. Your fight always will be remembered.
