The worst thing is the shortage and the influence on others. These people are too into themselves to care about long term issues, or anyone else, really. When I advocate for kr8tom tea I see how the pain meds are being cut back and unaliving themselves. Drs cutting back to send patients to their pain clinics or their building for their NOT fda approved injections. Usually holding taking their meds away, over the patients heads to make them go. Then the FDA goes after another innocent life saving plant because it's a threat to all of that. The plant will win 😉 Don't Google kr8tom tea, ask an advocate 😊

If your dad isn’t in a wheelchair, he could still get on a proper diet and exercise. If he’s diabetic, then he has every right to use Ozempic, but if he isn’t and is using it for weight loss, then he needs to stop. Why are you claiming he will have a heart attack if he doesn’t use it? The only reason for heart problems would be if he’s so overweight it taxes his heart. Fast weightloss also seems to lead to losing hair, sagging skin and looking sick versus slow weightloss. Your skin just needs more time and more protein and vitamins. • The irony with those in the entertainment industry being obsessed with skinnyness is that having a little bit more weight on, particularly on the face tends to make folks look younger - Youth being another thing Hollywood is beyond obsessed with Anyway, An example is the wonderful Nicola Coughlan (Irish actress from Netflix’s Bridgerton) went viral recently because folks on Twitter were stunned to find out shes almost 40 years old but looks like she’s in her 20’s Lol Nicola is a very proud bigger girl & has a plump face. Contrast that with another gorgeous woman Margot Robbie, an obviously very slim woman in her early 30’s but yet many have long accused her of lying about her age And I think this has happened because she has lost weight over the years, on top of alleged buccal fat removal, which to some has made her supposedly look older

Yes, I have been able to lose weight on it, *because I can't f-ing eat anything*. I threw up for a solid week when I first started taking it, eating just yogurt and eggs. Even now, months later, my dinner is a apple juice box half the time. I eat/drink, maybe, 1500 calories a day, on a good day. I tolerate it, because my doctor wants the excellent kidney protection, and it took us a F-ING YEAR to get around insurance and shortages before we succeeded in getting me on it. But to hear these idiots are choosing this, just to be skinny...I'm not sure if I've ever personally felt this wronged by our medical system, it's infuriating 🤬🤬🤬

  • It's not just Ozempic. These people devote their lives to looking better and will do any and everything to get it. They've had so much plastic surgery combined with other inventive ways to look younger. I'm a size 14 with the ability to fit into some 12's at this point I have decided to make peace with this size. Ozempic didn't make sharon osbourne look like a ghoul its a combination of everything. I know a lot of people on Ozempic I take it for diabetes very low dose, I haven't lost a pound in 2 years it's simply keeping my glucose in check. I am 58 and look 38, my face hasn't fallen I look like none of these people. The problem with having plastic surgery is that you have to keep getting nicks and tucks or you will look deformed. Once you go the plastic surgery route you have to keep getting it, not for vanity but so you won't look like a monster. That's why Joan Rivers was still getting plastic surgery at the tender age of a thousand, not to look good but to prevent the gross disfigurement you will have if you have gone through multiple surgeries in search of the fountain of youth. Paradoxically however the surgeries do make people look deformed after a certain point. Once you decide to get plastic surgery it's a lifetime commitment to maintenance and the same thing you are doing to prevent yourself from looking disfigured is also the thing that makes you look disfigured just not as much as you would look if you don't get touchups. People need to understand that they will never ever never ever ever again in this lifetime look like they did at the height of their youth. That part of us is gone and won't ever return.

The big problem is that there are times that I go for a month without it because the pharmacy can't get it. This messes my body up so much because my sugar goes uncontrolled for that long! And celebrity doctors never say no to their patients because those patients will drop them and go to someone who will say yes. Its disgusting. • I'm diabetic and have pcos and took metformin for nearly 20 years. I paid out of pocket for nutritionist and exercised as much as i was able (I have lupus and EDS, so my joints aren't great). In June i was prescribed ozempic by my dr because i went from pre-diabetic to diabetics and my insurance denied it, wanting me to go on daily shots of insulin because it would cost them less. I pay $400 a month for a version at from a compound pharmacy. Thankfully i have no side effects because the side effects are very similar to metformin. My blood sugar is back in the safe range and i no longer crave sweets. My dr did tell me i needed to eat because I've already had an unhealthy relationship with food. I've been on it for 11 months and only lost 30lbs, because binge eating was never an issue for me (50lbs in the past year because i lost 20 with a nutritionist before going on it). I'm 178 now, my dr and nutritionist want me to get to 138 (I'm 5'2). Losing weight is cool and great for my joints, but I'm more excited that my blood sugar is finally under control after trying to control it with pills and healthy diets since i was in my teens. It does annoy me that I'm in the group this med was created for and because people are willing to pay $1,000 a month insurance companies are now denying it. Even my dr was like why? She fits every box? All they'd say is they wanted me to try other meds first which my dr said weren't a good fit for me because they could cause more issues than the ozempic (for me. This might not be the case for everyone).

  • Hi. I have type 2 diabetes and have struggled to control it for years. Ozempic has made a huge difference for me, but I had a hard time getting it due to shortages at first! I finally ended up switching from a well known chain pharmacy to a local one store pharmacy in order to get it. It bothers me that pharmacies would be filling these prescriptions for off label use without making sure that they have enough for it's intended use first. I can't stress enough how much it's helped me lower my A1C . I already take insulin, metformin, and a couple other medications and still had struggles until I added Ozempic. I know I'm not the only one who's in this situation. It's a shame really that we face shortages for a deadly disease for someone else's insecurities. I don't mind if it's someone with true weight problems, but that's not what we're seeing here.

  • I live in the US, my Dad has type 2 diabetes and takes ozempic. He doesn't have insurance so I can confirm the shots costs 1k a month. For a year straight he only ate once a day because he said food tasted gross. He describes it as bitter or tasteless. He had horrible nause for days on end and sometimes he'd have to force himself to get out bed and go to work. He's not only lost weight but he's lost his muscle too. When I hug him I can feel his bones. I can't imagine someone taking it by choice

  • In October of 2023, I was getting a COVID booster at my local pharmacy when an older woman, maybe around 70-80 years old, came in asking for her diabetes medicine. The pharmacist told her there was a THREE-MONTH holdup statewide for her medication. The poor old woman was so concerned and expressed that she truly needed her medicine-what would happen if she kept delaying taking it? I felt so bad and it angers me how lower/middle class individuals are affected the most.
