  • 11:21 Another thing to add when doing these super zoom outs, is an adjustment layer on top with a Gaussian blur effect set to 1-3, then Noise set to 2-4 to even out all sharp edges that occur when you have highres footage being scaled down! It's a CGI trick in general, to blur your sharp renders a bit.

  • This is a super cool video with super cool vfx that I'm def going to adopt, but the implications of vfx this powerful being this accessible are kind of terrifying.     • I did go to Film & Media studies and interned as an editor, but most of the effects you start to learn through trial and error and doing projects :)
