@@thatonenamja4835 it IS unecessary. give it a clawing post, and it will do it's claws on it's own, literally JUST like cats in the wild, they groom themselves, the cat isn't fucking stupid. it's that simple. you don't have to even argue with me, but it's like you just feel like it. it isn't hard for them to walk at all with claws, if anything, it helps more with balance and grip, and trimming its claws takes away it's ability to climb. that's what i've been saying this whole time but it's like nobody can read my comments. also, they can sheathe their claws you know? Also my cat would never randomly attack a toddler unless the toddler is bothering it, in which case i would stop it immediately. Cats don't attack at random, they'd rather run away, it doesn't jockey your face and scratch the fuck out of your eyes and neck unless it knows it's going to die, most they'd do is swipe your arms. there are NO problems with a clawing post, it's the same as trimming their claws, except with trimming their claws you effectively disable them, there is literally no need for that.

Hi, we are in France. If kittens are used to have their nails cut, when they grow up they will let you do it very easily. I have a sacred birman and she let me cut her nails very willingly (the breeder though suggested to cut the front paws nails uniquely, NOT the back). 🙂
