@@ZackFreedman make a teensy that turns on a teensy, but only when another teensy connects to that teensy through serial.
First of all, usually "ten awesome gifts" videos are full of "get your dad personalized golf tees" kind of stuff, so this one stands out for being full of particularly cool stuff -- especially the lithophanes and the kit cards, which really do give you a lot of choices to match the actual interests of your gift recipients. Pro tip with lithophanes, print them vertically. Do not lay them flat on the plate.
what about the infill? I think it should be 0% or 100%, right?
@@robotportachiavi2507 Depends on your slicer settings. My slicer does two passes per wall. Front and back, that would be four passes. That's about as thick as I print my lithophanes, so the infill settings don't matter. You don't want it to be too thick otherwise light won't shine through it as well. Even in white filament, my four-thick prints need a pretty bright light to see the picture.

This is kind of serendipitous because as in watching this video I was pulling off the outer shell of the puzzle tube and re leveling to print the inner container of the puzzle box to hold my kids "biggest" Xmas present (cash). My daughter loves puzzles and will genuinely enjoy it. My son on the other hand it will be to try and teach him patience and our to teach him to ask for help or how to find answers, but ultimately I fear it will lead to most of his solutions when he hits a wall or gets frustrated wish is give up or hulk smash :/

You deserve more likes on this videos I've been 3dprinting for a year now and these are some of the best cool designs I've seen.
The Cyclone is so cool. Luckily it will fit inside the build volume of my Ultimaker. I think I'd like to power it though, by adding enough height to the base to house a small gear motor. Are you aware of anyone who's already done this? Also any suggestions would be very helpful.
