This 1lb, 4 week old puppy was found alone, shaking and crying in pain thanks to an ear crop job gone bad. His little ears are now very painful and infected thanks to an idiot who thought it would be a good idea to cut his little ears.
We have transported him to a veterinary hospital for care and he has been given some antibiotics and pain meds.

Ear cropping and tail docking should be illegal and banned, its cruel. There is no need to crop dogs ears, no matter what breed they are. I live in uk and its illegal to crop or doc a dogs tail unless its due to a medical issue, and you cannot buy puppies with cropped ears or docked tails.

He’s absolutely beautiful!! Whoever cropped his ears should have same done in return. Happily the abandoned girl I rescued was never cropped. These rescues make the most loving, loyal, and goofy babies.

it is illegal in most countries and tail and ear cropping is classified as animal cruelty, sadly not in US
If you're someone who will abandon a 4 week old puppy, you're probably not someone who cares about what is legal and what is not.

This tiny puppy's life is only just beginning yet he already experienced his share of pain. It is cruel to crop his ears and then abandon him. Those positive affirmations are gonna do more good for this boy than just about anything! He will remember all those things. What a cute little sweet boy. Cutting kitties, rotties or any other animal's ears or tails should NEVER be done except for health reasons that a certified vet states!

Thank you for saving that little one. Our Tiny Girl looks so much like him. We got her from a backyard breeder who was going to throw her out because she so little. She was starved! Too tiny to fight her siblings for a chance to nurse and these people didn't intervene. Our vet didn't think she would make it. I made her a sweater from one of my fluffy socks,it was too big for her, I wear a size 6 shoes,but it kept her warm. Every couple of hours a teaspoon of soft food or replacement milk, and a teddy bear to snuggle up to (grandson gave it to her). Two years later she's still with us,still tiny compared to others of her breed,bundle of energy and we love her. I hate uncaring backyard breeders!
