  • Canucks got the win but we really need to play a full 60 minutes. That 2nd period was just ugly. Myers needs to be a healthy scratch no questions asked. McWard even with limited ice time looked good. Pettersson with a much needed goal & Kuzmenko had a really strong game.

  • I am so guilty. I wanted the Canucks to trade Boeser after last season as it looked like he was done with hockey. He showed up this year and is playing his best year in the NHL. Not only is he scoring but hes back to winning puck battles. Good call on him changing offseason workouts and still going hard and believing in himself. Guy has had one of the worst lucks out of anyone I have ever seen. What a warrior!!! Amazing role model and hopefully he keeps being an amazing person on and off the ice.

    • I'm with you. I went on vacation to Alberta in September and visited some of the great sports memorabilia stores in West Edmonton Mall (I bought a signed Gino Odjick photo). They also had Funkos of both Hughes and Boeser but I only bought the Hughes one because I wasn't even sure Brock would last the season. I regret not getting it now.

  • If Head Coach Tocchet is thinking about making another Canucks player a healthy scratch, it should be Tyler Myers...Myers is slow & turns the puck over constantly, & when he's not doing that he's taking stupid & undisciplined penalties giving the opposing team opportunities to score & take back momentum of the game... On a different note, Kuzmenko was causing havoc in front of the Ducks net all game, which led to Petty scoring the game winning goal....A big 2 points & a much needed win for the Canucks...

I don't hate the guy, but perhaps he just doesn't fit in with this team. There are players who just get outshone by the rest of the lineup and when moving to different teams they hit another level. This year he has been playing much better than previous ones, just hope he can continue to improve.

    • That’s their only alternate they’ve worn this season as far as I know. Every team has one ? The NHL as a whole is a cash grab now though, the advertising/betting has become ridiculous

    • @@ChristIsKing772thank you for explaining it to them. Alternates from my understanding are used when the other team have similar or bright colors, or it could be dark. Whatever it is, it's something to do with the jersey color scheme that the home team will wear their alternate jersey

    • Well, I actually want them to release more jerseys because I've been waiting for the Canucks 1970's Stick-In-Rink white jerseys in Adidas...I would happily give them my money for it and I would not think that I'm getting ripped off, since that's my most favourite Canucks jersey of all-time.
