I watch a lot vlog from pakistan, this pakistani mecanich is genius from small car to big bulldozer, they can fix it, inwest africa they cannot fix this machine, they send it back to europe to repair. Bravo pakistani.
Thats not true my uncle was working in Gana and Akra in mines of gold as machinery mechanic
Watching from Canada keep safe Guys!Full support here. Waiting
Like I said before, I’m a mechanic too and when I tackle a big job, I tune in to Pakistani Truck or PK Mechanics for motivation. These guys are awesome
Yea. I bet your a backyard mechanic. No professional would think this to be anything but stupid.
@@edgemonsiteworksllc3369 stupid is distinct from making do with what you've got
@@erinh9267 not with hydraulics or have someone rebuild your car transmission in the dirt. See how long it lasts
😊🤗🥰🙏
These guys aren’t mechanics and I really doubt you are as well if you think their awesome

@@pawepablo2098 I am one of the managers at an enterprise where there are about 100 units of special equipment, from trucks to tractors, I know what I am talking about and I am not mediocre in dealing with the process of repairing complex machines. The repair of units should be carried out in compliance with both safety regulations and compliance with technology, especially since it is necessary to use new spare parts and not washed with an incomprehensible liquid on the ground with sand.
Notice how well these guys work together on one project. You won't see much of that here in the west.
Amazing so smart Pakistani child .
Very good mechanic
Glad to see everything was torqued to specs.
If you have done loads of these you can judge it by feel.
Nothing there really needed to be torqued to spec. Just tight. You apparently have not worked on equipment at all. They know what they are doing. Give a little credit to these mechanics.
Quality control is not a factor in this sand reassembly

If I ever visit Pakistan I am bringing you some tools
please do; or even just jot an email to your local representative and another to a member of industry (caterpillar, etc); they could start a program to get your idea to a reality
Fantastic work by every one
Any negative comments need to be ignored. There's very few workshops that would want to get involved in such a complicated heavy transmission such as this. A great job done by experienced hard working guys. We sell ex CCCP heavy tanks, turreted/ tracked personell carriers, URAL 6x6 trucks gas turbine heli's HIND, MIG 23 Warbirds. We service & repair / rebuild all types of transmissions and jet engines (Turmansky) and have a comprehensive machine shop. These guys are working outside with only basic hand tools and little else. Just shows what can be achieved with teamwork and dedication.. Greetings from Russia (Girood Airfield Hangars) ♥️
Won't last a week. Too dirty.
@@Herefornow-571 watch the video, it's all being blast cleaned and washed down. This isnt some car auto transmission sensitive to a bit of lint from a cloth, it's a very heavy duty commercial trans subjected to a lot of abuse. It's the equivalent of the multi plate type we recondition in both tanks and tracked lo personell carriers. The work these guys are doing is fine given the extreme nature of this type of transmission..
@@Herefornow-571 nah you know nothing
maybe you should sell those old tanks to Ukraine, You probably don't know this but they are being invaded by a horrible country....

I cant help but think about Jawas taking apart a star ship. Captivating.
Brilian job. So many spareparts but they can put them in proper site. Bravo
Chaos and orderly cooperation. Just amazing!
I love watching these Guys, they make a skilled job look so easy.Well done and best wishes to them all.👍👍👍
Careful now, don't get any dirt in the transmission, Doing a great job under the circumstances

Hmm? To me it looked like a training project. Deconstruct everything, remove some oil with a fancy watersteam, every teammate can touch a few elements and add some new sunflower oil and rebuild it. Did it run better afterwards?
Jet cleaner is using diesel or kerosine. Agree with your comment about everyone getting a touch, they’ll probably get a certificate at the end of the day. As did it run better - a choice of unlikely or no springs to mind.
Perfect rebuild. A job many workshops the world over wouldn't even touch. These guys are very obviously experienced in Cat transmissions. Of course it's going to run better..
Ah, the old push an O-ring in with a screwdriver and hammer technique, the feels!

In the USA after rebuilding the transmission we would paint it to make it look brand new..... Other then that you guys did a great job with just hand tools no power wrenches of hydraulic lifts or a clean work area.....
that's called rebuilding with a brush
THE MINIONS VOICE! en cualquier momento esperaba escuchar "ERES BUENA COMO UNA PAPAYA"

It’s sad but watching this really makes me appreciate the fact I live in the states. Well living in a modern society with washing machines a sink/ bathroom and pavement etc. Mad respect to the people over there tho how they do this stuff every day and are happy. It’s gotta be a tough life for sure.
People do the same thing here in the US every day. You just don't see it. I used to do it myself.
Rubbish talk
They used to go to the location set up a tent & go to work. Probably not today to many sensors & electronic stuff have to take to the shop & wait your turn.
Hold my beer- hell why your at it hold my pants and shoes, give me a dress and some sand kickers snd let me go to work
I could care less. Pakistan hates the United States
Great job wow wow the way they work great 😍😍🥰
When we were broke, a Funk transmission torque converter of ours went out. My father fixed its stator fins with JB weld. 14 years later, it would still spin the wheels in dirt. We sold it when we got a bigger machine. Bless these guys doing the best they can with what they have.
Awesome, amazing work........
they are great people with simple tools
That is a large task to undergo especially without specialty tools. Good job you guys.
all you people making fun of these guys, giving advice, speaking of the so-called horrors, well, how great you are! You put a heavy burden on those people with your mouth, when you yourself would not so much as lift a finger to do that job, nor-could-do-it even if you had the conditions you claim it need be done in. The work these "gentlemen" do is great. At least they take action to do it.
When people post their actions they have to wear the comments, freedom of speech
Are you on your knees for these people?
Right on! I couldn't have said it better myself! I marvel at the interconnection between each little industry. Like the “hand prints” on the cowshit fire cakes - to the guy who makes the welder to the crew that makes the truck frame rails out a sheet of flat stock, a straight edge, ruler and some chalk and then a monstrous press that they use as I would my car jack! This region has been well known for the craftsmanship.

Who in the world can do the work these guys can do with the tools they have ? Incredible !
Who would want to. You do realize that dirt isn’t the oil used to make the transmission work? Also. Just tightening to what ever, isn’t torqued.
@@edgemonsiteworksllc3369 they have torque meters in their arms
Who would want to. Everything they are doing is wrong.
These guys here!
@@edgemonsiteworksllc3369 well its still works. And its an official warranty repair. Kudos
Great work. Transmissions intrigue me. And you guys do everything by hand no power tools or air tools. Very interesting video.
I did not see any point of failure, also I noticed that they are separating the ring gears from the carriers...Why? Too many hands are screwing with this. Banging brittle gears against each other That is bad!!!. They wash bearings and don't remove them for inspection and replacement? Installing new bearing with a rusty heavy hammer? Using hammer and screw drivers to close the bolt locks and no pliers? Never replaced the satellite bearings, they use aftermarket parts on the clutch pistons..Originals are Teflon, the one they are installing are cast iron...old technology. Use abig hammer to install a carrier gear? are we kidding?
You e got to be kidding, right? Sure slap it together in the dirt so when it’s installed. 10 hours later they can do it again. You people that think this is good. Have someone rebuild the transmission in your car in the same way and in the dirt. You’ll have a change in tune. I guarantee it!!!
They work in dangerous conditions on hazmat grounds, hats off to hard work.
35:09 A washer slips off the rod, into the stack. That can't be good in there! Definitely amazing to see whole process by hand though. Hope no injuries, but could imagine it happening...
I think that's a great part of these videos, connecting people around the world and seeing the rising to occasion and making do with what's on hand and helping us all think about what we can have in future if we more strategically utilize our species' knowledge and physical resources instead of hoarding in certain parts of the world

In the western countries we should start a hireing program for these people

Backyard wrenching at its best right there! Only these guys are 10 times as fast.
When they wrap the chain around I thought oh they're going to use a caterpillar to lift the transmission. Obviously a caterpillar means six men in sandals
